Learn to make fettuccine, ravioli, and tiramisu
Lory was so friendly, knowledgeable, and such a sweetheart! We signed up to do a pasta making class through Viator and got paired with Eat and Walk Italy. We met at Ristorante Ruschena. We walked in and we stated we were there for the cooking class. We were told to sit and our chef would be right out. Lory came out promptly at 7pm. She introduced herself and led us upstairs. We first made tiramisu as it had to set for an hour. Lory had a great sense of humor and she was very engaging with the group. There were 9 of us and she made us all feel welcomed. She was like any Italian mom and helped everyone to ensure they were making the pasta properly. She was kind with her words and had a wonderful sense of humor. I would definitely recommend this excursion if you find yourself in Rome! Lory is awesome and I can’t say enough about how awesome she was! She made this mother/daughter experience special!

      Excellent class, great experience!
We took a class during our recent trip, and Lory was our chef. She was fun, super helpful, extremely knowledgeable, and explained everything so well. The class was perfect. We attended as a family, and there were many age groups in the class. Lory took her time and was very patient with everyone. We truly loved her class and were so glad she was our instructor. Highly recommended! The restaurant was easy to find, super clean, and well-organized.

Fun class to take with friends - you won't be disappointed
We had a wonderful time learning how to make both tiramisu and fresh pasta in this hands-on class. There were three of us who attended together and we all had so much fun with our chef Mateo. The class was small and interactive. The chef did a great job of explaining and assisting at the same time. The food we prepared was delicious and we made some new friends. I would highly recommend taking this class to get a break from all of the regular Rome tourist attractions.

      Would recommend
The class was so fun and informative. Our chef was as super engaging and knowledgable. Although I would have loved if we were able to cook the fettuccini ourselves, it was still a great learning experience. Tiramisu was not as sweet as I would have hoped, but the fettuccini tasted delicious!

      Making pasta!
Lory was great! She explained the process of making pasta very well, and walked around to check on each person individually. The dinner was my best meal in Italy!! I would definitely recommend this class.

      Great time with Lory!
Lory was terrific! Really kind with our younger kids. As the boyfriend of the young couple next to us family, don’t mess around in her kitchen! she gave us lots of attention on our actual technique in producing the dishes. This is a real lesson! And delicious! We had a lot of fun. Highly recommend!

      Fun and tasty
The instructor was great and well-organized. We did have some problems locating the class since it was in the Piazza Cavour, not Via Cavour. Make sure to tell your driver. There was a QR code to get the recipes at the end of class, but it didn't work on my phone.

From knowing a recipe to mastering an art of making the pizza is a long way, but the Chief makes it a little easier to manage. He uncovers some helpful tricks how to make neapolitan pizza on Your own, even at home.
I have never though that pizza with only tomato sauce and a basil leaf can be so delicious.
We recommend this course for all cooking lovers.

What beautiful words you said about Luigi! I'm really happy that he managed to pass on his love for Neapolitan cuisine! After all, Italian cuisine is made up of simple yet flavorful ingredients that combined together make something splendid. Thank you for wanting to participate and enrich our class with your enthusiasm.

I signed up to this pizza making workshop while solo traveling in Naples unaware of what to expect. Our chef was Luigi who was phenomenal at what he does and got the whole class engaged before we got started. He guided the class through the techniques used to make neapolitan style Pizza. After finishing up creating our dough and preparing the base of the pizza then adding, tomato sauce, margarita, fresh basil and olive oil, it was time to cook the pizza. After the pizza was completed, it turned out absolutely delicious under Luigi's guidance. Grazie!

Received confirmation of reservations and showed up at 10:30 am for an 11:00 am class. We’re told to wait outside until 11:00 am. Unfortunately, after a few conversations with different restaurant staff we found out the instructor/chef was not coming. We’re told it was a error with booking system but still upset and disappointed that it took 30 minutes to find this out. A refund is being issued, so hopefully that will go as planned.

I went to “Pizzeria Trattoria San Carlo 17 “ in Napoli with my daughter. It was a great experience. It was hands on and the teacher was excellent and kind. I believe his name is Cristiano. The ingredients were fresh and the teacher talked about the ingredients as well as the restaurant we were in. We made dough and then the chef made our pizzas and we helped stretch the dough, add the fresh delicious sauce, and the cheese. It wasn’t mozzarella, but from cow I believe. Delicious. We were a small group and sat together and we met nice people from Russia , California, and Germany. We also had a delicious mandarin sorbet which was refreshing and delicious. I am definitely going back there again.😋

This was a very enjoyable experience. Ernesto gave us a master class in pizza dough making. It was very informative and great fun. We loved putting our toppings on our pizzas and seeing them go in and come out of the oven. Pizza tastes extra special when you make it yourself! I would highly recommend this experience. Included in the price is bruscetta, a large glass of wine, unlimited water and sorbeto@

This was such a fun experience and I would really recommend doing while in Naples to learn how to make traditional Neapolitan pizza. Our host Luigi was so engaging and really funny. I thoroughly enjoyed this and of course the pizza was delicious.

I highly recommend taking this class. It was a lot of fun! My husband and I took this class during our honeymoon. The group was small enough where I felt like we all got the attention we needed if the instructor saw we were making a mistake or needed help w/our dough. He would come over to help. The dough takes a LONG time to rise so although we did learn how to make it, it's not the one we used for the pizza we made. But that's okay!
B/c the kitchen is small upstairs, they took us 2 at a time to the back to watch the pizza magic. Not sure if due to covid reasons, we were not able to put the toppings ourselves ON the pizza. The pizza guy in the back did it for us while we watched, but did ask if we wanted basil, etc. and he'd put it on. The pizza baked really quickly while we were back there chatting w/our instructor and the oven-guy.
Make sure you ask for your wine that comes included and sorbet and coffee at the end. I felt like maybe some people didn't read the full description of what you get or were shy to ask (like me), so quite a few people didn't get for wine w/their meal and left after they ate their pizza. So no sorbet for them either since they left. I think they thought that was it? But I also noticed the instructor didn't voice it to everyone like, hey who wants wine? and weren't brought out the sorbet as is included. I also was beginning to think huh, isn't xyz included? thankfully a guy at our table said something and the instructor was like, Yes of course. But it didn't come from him directly. So make sure you get what you pay for!
If you don't finish your pizza, you can take it to-go. I would highly recommend you take this fun class.

Great pizza cooking experience! Luigi was superb and gave us so many great tips on how to make the perfect pizza. He also provided us a copy of the recipe and some secret techniques. The class itself includes the pizza that you made, a glass of wine, water, bruschetta and granita for dessert. It’s a great deal and experience. Your pizza will never be the same again.
