HIGHLIGHT OF MY ITALY TRIP

All transportation upon arrival to the Naples train station was included, we were greeted by our personal tour guide, Giorgio, at the train exit & he took care of us from then on! He’s a Capri local, born & raised, & he was so passionate about teaching us about its culture and history. The chair lift to the peak of Anacapri is a MUST & although the Blue Grotto was closed, we enjoyed the boat tour around the island so much (& Giorgio said he prefers it over the Blue Grotto since the wait is long, and the experience is short). The boat ride is 45-1hr and you get to see the whole island from the beautiful blue ocean. It was an experience of a lifetime & totally worth it, do NOT miss out!! Thank you, GIORGIO!!!

The highlight of our trip to Italy
Amazing experience from Sorrento to Capri! Definitely the highlight of our trip!! We met at the Sorrento port in boarding ferry to Capri with our guide. We were in luck as the blue grotto was open and it was beautiful! We also were able to tour AnaCapri and Capri, ride the chairlifts up the mountain side and lots of shopping. Then our tour guide Luigi was able to get us reservations at Da Paulino One of the famous restaurants on Capri where we dined under lemon trees. The whole day was wonderful!

Highlight tour of our trip!
Our guide, Marcella, met us at the boat in Sorrento and made sure we quickly got off the boat so we could be first in line for the blue grotto. Once she found out the blue grotto was open that day, we rushed so we could be the first ones in line. She kept apologizing for rushing but said it would be worth it so we could enjoy the rest of the day by not having spent so much time in line for the blue grotto. She coordinated everything beautifully that day with tickets, drivers, and an amazing amazing lunch at Da Gelsomina (don’t mess going here - what a treat!) and it was a perfect mix of sites, fun, shopping, history, free time, and all the beauty that Capri has to offer wrapped up in one day! Marcella was an amazing tour guide who made it such an awesome highlight of our trip.

Perfect day!!

Our day in Capri was amazing! Just perfect way to celebrate Brad’s 50th birthday. Our guide Fabrizio took care of everything. The communication of company and Fabrizio was excellent. He went out of his way to personalize the day for us- it was our only day in Capri and last day in Italy and we decided last minute we wanted to do a hike on the island and boat ride. He took care of all changes happily. Thank you!! We definitely want to come back- abs see and do more!! Thank you for a fabulous day!!

60th Birthday trip- this was the best part of the two weeks we spent in Italy!

Giorgio was the perfect guide for our private tour of the isle of Capri and exploration of the Blue Grotto. We were able to customize our tour so we were able to see the sites that most interested us. Giorgio answered all of our questions about the history of the island, pointed out the various famous villas in the two towns, and told us a little bit about each one. He was passionate about where he was raised and eager to share this with us. We felt like we had a better appreciation of this beautiful island, after spending the day with our guide. We can't wait to return! The Blue Grotto is a MUST SEE, if it is open the day of your tour!

Amazing Way to See an Incredible Island

A seamless way to visit Capri. Everything was arranged from the ferry to and from Capri, to the tickets to the Blue Grotto, chair lift, and funicular on Capri, and a great open-air car to get around. Luigi was an incredible tour guide with amazing knowledge and contacts to go to all of the best places. Highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful time in Capri and our guide was amazing! The views were spectacular, the food was so tasty and the people were very friendly. If you’re headed to the area I suggest a private tour of Capri. You see more and learn more than doing it on your own.

Blue Grotto and Capri

The Blue Grotto is beautiful and the boat ride is entertaining and fun, however, the 2 hour wait was not.
The island of Capri is gorgeous.

Beautiful Island--Must see

We were with 2 other friends and we had a private tour of the island. We started at the Blue Grotto from the land entrance--which put us practically first in line to get in (it got closed shortly after we saw it because of the high waves). Our tour guide was Luigi and he was wonderful! He recommended a wonderful, out of the way lunch spot in Anacapri --da Gelsomina --it was the best meal I ate on the entire Italian vacation. The entire island is very special and a must see when in the region!

Amazing private day tour of Capri from Rome

Wow! Were do I begin? Me, my husband, our daughter and son in law were only in Italy for 7 nights. We knew we did not have time to see the Amalfi Coast. We chose to do a private guided day trip to Capri from Rome. I’m so happy we found Tours of Capri! From my very first email to Cristina, the tour manager, to my many follow up emails with a ton of questions! Cristina was amazingly responsive and helpful in planning our day. Every detail was given in a timeline and she also sent a link to view a YouTube video of what our day would be like. From Rome via Fast train, it’s 1hr to Naples Centrale station. The minute my family stepped off the train at 8:45am we were greeted by our guide Sabrina, waiting for us. She quickly got us into a taxi and within minutes we were at the Molo Beverello port. Sabrina handled all the details, from our taxi fare, tickets for ferry, convertible car on the island of Capri, tickets to all attractions(blue grotto, chairlift, funicular). Sabrina got us on the early ferry at 9:10am. She was amazing with time management and maximized our time on the island so we were able to see and do everything we wanted. To spend the day with a local guide like Sabrina was wonderful. She was kind, educated and so much fun to be with. We learned so much about Naples and the island. Once off the ferry, we had a convertible car waiting for us to take us along the famous “mama Mia road” for amazing views and within minutes we were at the Blue Grotto. We were very lucky to be able to experience such a beautiful attraction with hardly and waiting time at all. The blue grotto is tide permitting, so we got lucky. We then took the chairlift up the side of Monte Solaro. The top is breathtaking! Amazing views. Sabrina suggested a few different lunch options that included a more intimate time consuming restaurant and options for a quick quality lunch. We chose pizzeria Barbarossa, great fast service with amazing caprese salad and margarita pizza! We toured the main Piazzetta in Capri and strolled along the high end shops right to the Augusta Gardens. Along the way be sure to stop and have a freshly squeezed lemonade over orange slush drink. So refreshing! Sabrina made our day trip. If it wasn’t for her direction and time management, we would have never seen all we wanted. We had a 3:20pm ferry back to Naples and Sabrina accompanied us all the way back to the train. We would highly recommend tours of Capri and Sabrina. We will be back to see the coast and when we do, we will be in touch. We would love to have Sabrina show us around.
