What a wonderful day! We were a group of 8 on a private tour with Carmine’s tour company, the secret tour with lunch. Manuel was right there waiting for us when we got off the ship, and the first thing he did was ask us what we would like to do, and we loved that flexibility. I didn’t expect us to go to Pompeii because I thought it would take a really long time, but he said we could do it! What a bonus! After Pompeii, we went to the Amalfi coast and started down a very windy road along incredibly huge cliffs. The view was spectacular!Somewhere along the way Manuel started singing opera songs, and since his favorite artist is Bruno Mars he also sang some tunes from him. He is an incredible singer. He also taught us how to pronounce words in Italian. What a treat! We went to a farm to table lunch that we had arranged before hand and that was an incredible experience. Food was delicious and the hosts were more than welcoming. It was a family owned restaurant/farm, which I pictured to be wide expanses of green. Farms here are much different than the US. They are built into cliffs! After that we spent time in Sorrento, a wonderful little resort town overlooking the Bay of Naples. I want to come back and spend more time! We couldn’t have asked for a more knowledgeable, dedicated, entertaining guide than Manuel, who kept us laughing and even taught us some Italian language. I will call him the singing aficionado! 5 stars! Bravo, Manuel!

Great day with one of the best guides we have ever had. Echo was very attentive to our needs, fun and interesting with her history knowledge. She is now a native of Naples but grew up in Georgia where we are from. We really enjoyed the wine tour/lunch and the tour of Pompeii . Echo is an awesome person with a big personality that keeps up informed but entertained. Looking forward to our trip with her to Sorrento.

Manuel was awesome! We were so glad we hired a driver to see the Amalfi coast as driving is treacherous! Manuel was an excellent driver and also kept us laughing while seeing Positano, Sorrento and Ravello. Lunch in Sorrento was amazing and loved the town! Echo was our guide and she was OUTSTANDING! She spoke English and knew so much about the area.She was a fountain of information and carried us to areas not so commercialized. The Amalfi coast was gorgeous and Ravello was my favorite town. Echo went above and beyond to make our tour unforgettable!

I am a travel advisor and booked a private day trip to Pisa/Florence for two older couples (70/early 80s). They RAVED about their tour guide Michael and the entire tour was perfect from the beginning to end. They were cruising and this was their only day in the area so they really wanted to see both Pisa and Florence (specifically the statue of David). From my clients: More kudos to Michael. We even got to do a little shopping. He was so informative. All along the way he was pointing out things giving us a little history. He is exactly what a tour guide should be if you could pass that along to his bosses, that would be great. Great day today! Loved our guide he was perfect in every way! We had a great time with Carmine on his Secret Tour of the Amalfi Coast with a Farm to Table Lunch. Carmine navigated the narrow winding hills up to Amalfi, Positano and Ravello expertly and took us to places where there were stunning views. He was very informative about the area and told us things that we would not have necessarily learned from another tour guide. Carmine even took us to a little mom and pop Lemoncello store in someone's house that had a great variety of Lemoncello and related products at great prices. The tour culminated with a delicious and abundant farm to table lunch. I already referred friends to Carmine and this tour and one friend is taking this tour in September.

There are no words to describe this most fabulous experience. Our driver/guide Luca is one superior human being. This experience was our revisit to the Amalfi Coast and Luca totally customized it to do what we wanted to do. The best kept secret is the fabulous farm to table lunch at the top of Positano. Everything is grown and handmade, including the wine. This experience was truly the highlight of our entire visit to the Amalfi coast - especially when we had the honor and pleasure to meet Carmine in person. Carmine, thank you for your gracious and generous hospitality. You solidified our new found love of Italy. And you have a real gem in Luca. Thank you.

The transfer from Naples airport to Sorrento was the perfect start of our vacation. And we also scheduled the stop for lunch at the Russo family vineyard and winery at the base of Mount Vesuvius. Indescribable experience. Our driver Alesander was our best introduction to Italy. Thank you.

There were landslides that prevented going from Amalfi to the restaurant. The trip should have been canceled. Instead it turned out to be an all day drive nightmare. We spent 50 minutes in Amalfi and 50 minutes in Ravello, and the rest of the time driving. For this we paid $875 USD. Carmine did refund some of the monies, so I give him credit for that. The focal point of the trip was the farm to table lunch and the views. This didn't happen. To top this off, we were dropped off in Amalfi and our tour guide left us. Same thing in Ravello. We've never been to these two places and didn't know where to go or what to do. To make this even better, our tour guide led us to a ceramics shop in Ravello before leaving us, expecting that we would gladly be purchasing things. I'm from NYC and I know a set-up when I see one. Overall, it was a waste of a day and we felt used.

This tour was the perfect day for us! MANUEL was fantastic and really listened to what we wanted to do and planned the perfect day. We went to Ravello, which was our favorite, as well as Minori and Maori and Amalfi town. MANUEL was very entertaining and so fun! He took us to the best restaurant for lunch and some excellent shopping and sightseeing and a photo ops. Thank you so much for the best day!!

We spent 5 days in Italy and connected with Carmine team. They supported us with tourist driving and visiting different locations including Amalfi coast, Florence and Pisa and Rome. They were very knowledgeable and good drivers. We visited main tourist places, ate in local restaurant and got driven in good quality cars with AC. 100% recommended. we also got drivers from and to airport. Manuel, Nicoleta and Marco took GREAT care of us.

This was an amazing experience. Carmine and Marika were exceptional guides. They tailored the experience to our interests by asking questions and getting to know us. They learned that we preferred to stay away from the high tourist areas and gave us an experience of the Amalfi coast that was authentic, peaceful, romantic, and pure fun. They went above and beyond expectation and sacrificed greatly for us to have a wonderful time. They were also punctual, responsible, and spoke fantastic English. The day was rich in vistas, history, culture, and food. We will never forget this once in a lifetime adventure.

Manuel was the best tour guide - he took us down the whole Amalfi coast, giving us insight into the history and time to visit each town. We ended with a farm to table experience at La TagliatA (best food we have had yet). I highly recommend and ask for Manuel !!

My husband and I spent a magical day touring the Amalfi Coast from Sorrento to Ravello and all the towns in between. Our guide Manuel was cheerful, informative, funny, and an expert at carefully maneuvering the twists and heights of the Italian coastline. He advised us on our Italian, entertained us with beautifully sung music, and offered wonderful information on Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, and so much more.
