Rome in Limo was awesome, driver was on time friendly and helpful with getting us from site to site, he even took is to a really nice restaurant for lunch. Just wish we had more time to really soak in the beautiful Amalfi coast. Great, experience we will defiantly be back and of course use Rome in Limo again.

Our experience with Rome in Limo was top notch from start to finish. Jany in the office was extremely helpful in making our booking and answering our questions. When we got off the ship in Naples, Giovanni was there waiting for our party of eight. Giovanni was extremely friendly and made us feel at ease right away. He knew some great spots to pull over for photos and gave us a good introduction to the area. We enjoyed our stops in Sorrento and Positano, and Giovanni recommended a restaurant in Positano with a phenomenal view. Our third stop was Pompeii, where we got a guided tour from Rosemary. Rosemary was very engaging and informative. Giovanni got us back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. The whole experience was wonderful, much more engaging and affordable than the large organized shore excursions offered by the cruise ship. I would highly recommend Rome In Limo to anyone looking for personalized small group tours!

Our driver was very prompt, the vehicle was very clean and comfortable and our guide was great about taking us to the best spots that wouldn’t be as populated with tourists so we could get great pictures. I definitely recommend!

We booked 2 day trips with Romeinlimo and they where both AWESOME! The drivers (Franchesco & Vinny) were very professional. They were punctual. They spoke English very well. They knew the cities and their history. We also had a guide when we went to the Vatican and she was the best (Gulia), I would definitely hire them again when we return to Italy.

We were on a European cruise on Norwegian Epic and decided to book our tours with an independent company rather than through the ship and that's how we found Rome in Limo. Our main concern was making sure that we got to the ship on time and they assured us that if we did what the driver said that we would not have any problems. We decided to go ahead and book and booked the three port package (Naples, Rome and Florence) which was much cheaper than booking through the ship. We are so happy that we did. Our driver Alex was there when we got off the ship and took us to Positano, where we had the opportunity to walk down to the beach and the shops (this would not have been possible on the a large tour bus, as we understood buses are not allowed down into Positano). He then took us to Sorrento where we had an opportunity to walk around and had lunch at La Basilica, a restaurant that he recommended. The food was fantastic however the service was a bit slow because a tour bus came while we were there and it didn't appear that they were staffed properly to handle all the people. He then took as to Ponpeii where we met up with our guide Rosemary (additional fee) who took as through. She was amazing, so much knowledge and really added to our experience much more so than had we gone on our own. The other thing that we especially liked was that the tour was private for just the 4 of us (two couples). We had the more flexibility in terms of where to go and how long to stay than we would have if we were on a bus with a lot of people.
As I said, we used them for our other ports and had the same experience. Luciano in Rome again was amazing and made sure we saw all of the sites, coliseum, trevi fountain, Vatican etc. Again we had a guide in the Vatican, Barbara who was also extremely knowledgeable and able to get us through the lines and crowds. He joined us for lunch at Trattoria Luigi, his recommendation and again we were not disappointed with his recommendations of both the restaurant and the food choices.
In Florence our driver was Mauro and he too did not disappoint. Too bad he could not have done something about the rain!! Our overall experience with Rome In Limo was fantastic and I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others. As a matter of fact I already have as well as to our travel agent.
As I said, we used them for our other ports and had the same experience. Luciano in Rome again was amazing and made sure we saw all of the sites, coliseum, trevi fountain, Vatican etc. Again we had a guide in the Vatican, Barbara who was also extremely knowledgeable and able to get us through the lines and crowds. Constantine was an amazing guide! The 4 of us that went on the excursion all agreed that this was one of our favorite experiences. Constantine also got us a guide for Pompeii and she was amazing as well. I would highly recommend this excursion. I really don’t know how it could have been better.

Alex picked the 5 of us (Adult friends) up at our hotel in Naples, and drove up the mountainous road to Bomerano, where we hiked the Path of Gods. When we were done with the hike (more strenuous than we thought), Alex was thankfully waiting in Nocelle with plenty of water and cool AC in the car.
On Alex's recommendation, we then stopped at a lovely family restaurant (da Costantino) set high above Positano. This stop was just what we needed at this time: the owner took care of everything, and we just sat and enjoyed. The bruscetta and the homemade lemoncello were among the highlights, but the entire meal was fresh and fantastic.
After lunch, Alex took us to Sorrento -- one of the highlights of our 2-week trip. After a short tour around the town, we walked through the shops and restaurants.
Overall, Alex was entertaining, funny, flexible and provided a full day of enjoyment. We would highly recommend Rome In Limo.

We can’t thank Alessandre enough for such a wonderful day in Naples. He picked us up promptly with a huge smile on his face, whisked us off to Sorrento for some shopping and a quick latte. We had been to Naples before so we kind of adjusted our tour to our own desire. Alessandre was very knowledgeable, really friendly, and by the end of the tour he was like a friend of the family that we were just visiting. He was very helpful with my elderly parents, and took us to Vesuvius cantina and winery for lunch and a wine tasting. A must for any visitor, as it was a nice break in the day after Pompei tour. The great thing about Rome in Limo is that they are able to get you closer to the pertinent sites than a tour bus could ever do. But more importantly, they are so professional and personal. I recommend requesting Alessandre as he was perfect. Love this company as we used them for all 3 stops on our cruise. Do it!!! You won’t regret it.
