Hands down this was one of the best experiences I had while visiting Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. Went above and beyond my expectations! Vitturio was beyond just a professional and excellent tour guide, by the end of my drive, he became a friend! So much so that I booked him for another tour on another day. He knew so much history about the region and had so many cultural insights and fun facts that enriched my drive. He even knew the exact best spots to get out to take pictures and took so many for me as I was traveling alone. I cannot rave about their services enough - feel like I hit the jackpot in meeting Vitturio and would recommend 11 times out of 10 to anyone visiting Naples, Sorrento or Amalfi Coast!! Can’t wait to see my friend again!

We had a fabulous experience with this company - but more specifically, with Vittorio. He was our driver/guide for all three of our transports: our initial transfer from Napoli airport to Sorrento, for our full day Pompeii/wine tasting/Ercolano tour, and for our final transfer from Sorrento back to Napoli airport. Vittorio was prompt, a total gentleman, a delightful guide, and could not have been a better ambassador for Star Cars, for Sorrento, or for Italy itself! We have been to Italy numerous times and have had many private drivers. Most have been excellent, but none more lovely a person than Vittorio. When we next visit Sorrento, we will be sure to request him by name.

He’s sociable and very attentive to safety. He’s also knowledgeable about the area and is very entertaining while recounting it’s customs and culture. What a wonderful experience... I was worried that Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast in one day would be too much, but it was wonderful from start to finish. As it is a private tour we did everything at a nice relaxing pace but got to see all the highlights. A perfect combination of wonderful views and history. We also booked a Private guide thanks to Vittorio that braught Pompeii back to life.

We hired Sorrento Star Cars for a private positano with ceramic and Lemon Tour. For starters their communication is fantastic. They are very easy to work with and are willing to basically do anything for you. Vittorio (who I think is the owner) showed up on time in the nicest Mercedes we have ever been in. It was luxury all the way! He was engaging, entertaining, and very informative. It seemed like he knew everyone! We first stopped at a "fruit stand" overlooking the water where we had fresh squeezed orange juice and just admired the view. Then off to the ceramic factory for a tour of the facility. This I must admit felt the most "sketchy" to me as it seemed like they were most interested in selling me something. That being said their stuff was absolutely beautiful and I did learn how it was made which was interesting. Then off to Postano where we had a couple of hours of free time for lunch, shopping, whatever. After this we had a private Limoncello making tour which was absolutely fabulous. The entire day was great but this may have been our favorite unexpected part. Then back to our hotel. Again, I have nothing but overwhelmingly positive things to say about Star Cars, Vittorio who treated us like celebrities, and the excursions of the day. Highly recommend to all.

We have used Sorrento Star Cars a few times now, with Vittorio as our main host showing us around the area. His passion for his work is a clue to why the tours are so enjoyable. Our first time was 8 years ago now. One thing I always enjoy whilst travelling to new parts of the world is finding hidden gems, be that locations or interesting people. Vittorio introduced both. Finishing off with a wonderful cooking lesson, with one of the nicest sunsets views we have had the pleasure of witnessing. We look forward to our next trip to one of the most beautiful parts of the world.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Vittorio for about 20 years, I have witnessed his professionalism, knowledge and skills when he used to drive 12 m long bus on the winding roads of the Amalfi Coast, through the intricate roads of Rome, and more. Had the absolute best experience with Star Cars Sorrento. While organising the email responses were very prompt with all the information we required. Marzia was very helpful in assisting with the planning of the transfers and tours and also organising Rosemary our tour guide in both Ercolano and Pompeii. What can I say about Vittorio, the owner and our driver. He was simply the best. Always on time, provided restaurant suggestions and was just all round fantastic.
