This was a very fun experience. The boat ride was more fun than the island itself. Luciano, the boat captain, was great as well. He took the time to explain the history of all the cool places he showed us. The drinks and snacks on board were also great. Would do this again!

Great tour with plenty of opportunity to swim and take some town to explore Amalfi & Positano. the crew was very friendly, accommodating, and did wonderful making sure we had a time.

We absolutely LOVED this boat tour—it was a highlight of our entire Italy trip. Our guides, William and Francesco, were a pure delight and made the excursion that much more enjoyable with their playful humour and good nature. This tour also picks you up from your hotel directly, which saves you the headache and cost of getting a taxi if your hotel is remote. The tour is 8 hours but goes by very quickly, and you’re left wishing you could spend the entire day on the boat enjoying the sun and clear water. The dip you take in the end was amazing—utterly refreshing after being in the Italian sun for a few hours. The place you swim in is beautiful as well, with warm teal water and a beautiful view of the cliffs. We cannot recommend this tour enough! It is a must-do if you want to see Amalfi and Positano. You can have delicious lemon sorbetto in Amalfi and a nice lunch in Positano, and you have little stops along the way in the boat to hear of local legends and see beautiful homes. Absolutely recommend! Good for families as well.

The tour started off at the Mandara Parking Garage in Positano. We were a group of 16 picked up in two courtesy cars and driven to Sorento. There we were met by the hostess and tour organizer (name withheld for privacy). She collected an extra €5 per person for anchoring in Capri. We were then led on a short walk to the lift that takes folks down to the docks. There we were split up into two groups. The smaller group was on a smaller boat. While the captain and his first mate were good sailors, the boat itself was not meant for the high seas. Even a light headwind results in a bumpy ride. First stop was the blue grotto. The captain took the boat in close where you have to transfer to a small rowboat to enter the Grotto. It’s absolute chaos and mess as to who gets picked up sooner and who has to wait hours. There were at least 15 boats of various sizes jostling for position. Oh, and it’s an extra €15 per person to enter the grotto plus tips. After about a 45min wait, we were picked up and taken inside. It was a very beautiful experience once inside. The cave is illuminated by the sun shining a bright light into the crystal clear blue waters and hence the name. After an another choppy ride to the other side of the island, we came by the green grotto which was a good swim experience. The waters were cold but you get used to it quickly. We the. Made a short trip to the harbor and moored, and were taken ashore on a dinghy to a restaurant that had very good seafood. We only had about 2h on that island. Not enough for a walk up to the village. The return to Sorrento was the worst as the winds made the ride very rough. The captain had to make it back by 6:30 and was going full throttle that made it even worse. A couple of people got seasick and threw up lunch. Overall, an average experience. A bigger boat and more time (start earlier and and take the time sailing) would have been much better - makes for less seasickness. Also, a detailed itinerary explaining the hidden costs and time at each site would be helpful. 8h is it enough for the agenda - needs at least 10. It can be a great tour once these adjustments are made.

We were picked up by our vans on time and the ride went well, the drivers were very friendly and helpful. Once we arrived in Sorrento we were greeted and asked for £5 a person for the Capri entry fee, only she told us she couldn’t make change for us (we weren’t told we’d need exact change in advance) and we all had large bills, we were able to make it work as a group though, so just an annoying hiccup. From the drop off point we had to walk 15mins up the road to the docks, where we waited another 20-30 minutes because the other driver was late with the rest of our group. Per the description there would only be up to 8 people on the boat, our group ended up having closer to 20 people, and they split us into 2 groups. Our group ended up having 12 people on the boat, the rest of the people were put on a boat smaller than ours, and everyone on their boat got sea sick due to the tiny boat. I was told they didn’t even get to have 4 hours on Capri because their boat was so slow it took them longer to reach the island. The boat we got on was still smaller than the pictures lead us to believe, and we weren’t offered any drinks until we started asking about it, we never got any food on the boat like the description says. The “waiver” they had us sign was actually just the boat rental lease for the company, basically making us liable for any damage the crew causes that day, Nothing bad ended up happening, but I found it a little odd that they were so secretive about it. They just gave us a paper, asked for our IDs without explaining why, and told us to sign without reading it. The skippers were very friendly, they gave us the option to see the blue grotto, but it was £20 a person and at least a 30 minute wait, so as a group our boat decided to skip it, but the other boat members told us they were able to see the blue grotto and they were only asked for £5 a person instead of 20. Our boat got to stop at Capri and we were able to stay for about 4 hours as described. The Island is beautiful and we had a great time with other members from the group. We got to swim at a few points, including the green grotto which was also a great experience. Per the online description snorkel gear was supposed to be provided, however when we asked the crew about it they told us they didn’t have any gear. We also got to see the pink cave, white grotto, and the arches. When we returned to sorrento at the end of the day this is where my 3 star review turns to 2. The crew told us the girl that walked us to the docks from the cars was waiting for us already at the top of the elevators we took to get in, but we couldn’t find her anywhere. After we used the elevator some guy asked us for £0.50 each as a “lift fee” and none of us had small coins. We ended up walking back to where we were dropped off alone as a group and there were no drivers to take us back. One van showed up after we reached out to the tour operator, who also showed up himself. But the second van wasn’t showing up and communication with us was very poor. We waiting about an hour for the second driver to come, and he had the other people in our group from the tiny boat already in his car. The entire time we were waiting and worrying, the tour operator was there and didn’t say a word to us, not even an apology for their miscommunication. Instead, when someone asked him privately for a refund he yelled at her in front of the entire group, and when we all agreed with her and voiced our complaints, the tour operator got very hostile and ignored what we were saying. A lot of us had other accommodations we made afterwards since we were told we’d be home by 6pm, but we ended up getting home at 8pm and missed other plans. If the operator had acted professionally instead of hostile and preventing us from leaving the tour could have gotten 3 stars. I request a 50% refund from the operator for deceiving us based on the description. No food on the boat, no snorkel gear, having a boat much smaller than described, but mostly for the poor communication such as telling us the elevator had a fee, the £5 entry fee had to be in exact change, and for miscommunicating our transfer home to positano, and wasting all of our time, without apologizing and just being rude to us instead. so we’ll see if he comes through with my request, or if he just leaves a rude response to this review. Depending on their response, you’ll be able to see the type of company you’re really dealing with here.

What an amazing day!! I was able to share the beauty of the Almafi Coast with my visiting family and met new friends along the way. Our skipper and Davide were amazing hosts. We saw the absolute beautiful Pearl of Italy…BELLESSIMA ❤️❤️❤️❤️🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹 Sempre’ Italia

Note that this trip picks you up in Positano and as there is no where to park, you pay $120 Euros for parking at their designated garage. Since we drove over an hour from Sorrento and then had to be driven from Positano back to Sorrento, it added over two hours of driving to the two we already drove. Capri was a tourist nightmare! It was packed with tourists and extremely expensive. We would not return. The two guys on the boat were lovely and kind, but don't expect much in the way of snacks or drinks as we were offered water or coke along with some crackers. Mexico and Florida are much more generous on their boat trips!

We absolutely loved our boat excursion to Capri! We were picked up outside our hotel on time and carried to the marina. The boat that we boarded was very clean and well maintained. Our boat guides, Johnny and Mary, were fantastic. They were very engaging with everyone on board. They made sure everyone had opportunities for photos. We paid extra for the bus ride to Anacapri and Capri which was well worth it. With only a couple hours on the island you don’t want to waste any minute of it. Make sure to ride the chair lift while in Anacapri….it was amazing! After our time on the island we were picked up from the marina where we enjoyed some Prosecco and then topped off with some limoncello at the end of our trip. The day was fantastic and I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone!

Amazing day on the water with a great crew! We enjoyed seeing sorrento and Capri from the water! It was a very smooth right sitting on the front of the boat!

So beautiful going in the evening, watching the sunset and enjoying the sites while it was a little quieter. Our captain was so lovely, I can’t explain how fabulous it was lying on a boat in the sun sipping on a peroni looking at that scenery 😍

Orlando and Giuseppe were absolutely wonderful! Their knowledge and care shown on our tour was superb! We saw the wonderful island of Capri from the comfort of their amazing boat. The 10 of us were very comfortable and cared for! Orlando captained the ship quite well, and he also provided wonderful insights into parts of the island! Giuseppe was also quite knowledgeable and attentive to our needs! Their playlist was a perfect soundtrack for our tour! Capri is truly beautiful! Our entire family really enjoyed our time together exploring coastline. The transfer to and from our hotel was perfect! Thank you!

Easily one of the best experiences of our Amalfi coast trip. Tony, who oversaw our group, couldn’t have been a more fun and engaging host, and made the experience a memorable one. The opportunity to see the grottos, stop for a swim, and an overall awesome group of random strangers coming together made it an experience of a lifetime. Thank you for everything, Tony!

The boat trip was really good. Our guide was very entertaining and told us a lot about the island and it’s history. It was lovely being a small boat tour with a maximum of 12 people. Capri itself was very busy with not a lot of time to do much at all, and unfortunately we did not get to see the Blue Grotto as the tide was too high. My advice would be to make a decision to see one or two things or do the chair lift as there is not a lot of time on the island taking an hour to get anywhere. We did the chair lift at one town and had lunch at the next as there is no food on the boat. Still a very beautiful island. I can see why all the “stars” like it!!

Our tour was great! I went on the tour with my sister (in our 20s) and we thought that the itinerary worked really well, we got to see Amalfi and Positano, and swim off of the boat, which was something very important to us. I’d recommend this tour for younger people, as our guides were very young and not necessarily “tour” guides. They pointed out a few towns but that was about it. The only issue with our tour came with the hotel pickup, as we were sitting in a car for two hours waiting to pick up another group. When we picked up this group, we had to sit in a car with 4 people crammed in the back seat for about a half hour, this happened because of a miscommunication with the people we picked up so it’s hard to blame the company but that would’ve made the experience go more smoothly. Overall, it was just what we had wanted in a boat tour!
