Had an amazing time climbing with my guide Francesco. I’m a beginner so he was great about going over safety and picking routes that were challenging for me. He even brought a drone and got some great footage of me climbing. Highly recommend this experience! Bring bug spray the mosquitos were everywhere though!

My 15 year old daughter went climbing with Francesco at Punta Campanello. Amazing location and some challenging climbs exactly at her level, feeling very safe with Francesco (this was her 2nd time only climbing outdoors). She was happy with the shoes and equipment and came back tired but very happy. For someone that loves climbing it was well worth the price.

Went climbing with my daughter and I. It was *awesome* our guide was great, great with kids, found lots of good routes, gave us some good tips, etc, etc. We had a blast, would highly recommend!

One of the best climbing trips I've been on in a while! My guide Francesco was friendly and accommodating. And the routes that were available were friendly for beginners and advanced climbers alike. Ivana was responsive over text, and helpful as well! Gave a lot of good recommendations for local food in the area. I stayed in Sorrento, and had a bit of confusion as to how to get to the meeting point, but she sorted me out with directions for the bus route. Do bring water and a good pair of legs. The hike into the climbing area is short, but some parts of it are a little rocky, which is a great warm up anyway. Stunning views at the top, so don't forget your camera! Only thing missing was a toonado sticker/tee shirt to add to the collection. But boy, the view...

This was an amazing excursion, Francesco the guide was an absolute legend the work he has put into establishing and bolting routes in the area is amazing (wish we had someone willing to put in this amount of work in my area/hopefully I can eventually gain the experience necessary to help develop my area). People like Francesco are the unsung heroes of the climbing community and deserve the utmost respect for enabling others with less experience to get into this amazing pass-time wish I could give more then 5 stars. Also the views 10/10

The climbing experience in Positano was over the top amazing- this was the most beautiful outdoor climb my husband and I have ever done! From the beginning, our contact person at Toonado, Ivana, was responsive and helpful. She remained in touch with us to make sure we were aware of where and when to meet. Due to twin, our trip location was changed from Sorrento coast to Positano. I can’t imagine that any climb would have been more beautiful. Our guide, Francesco, arrived with our shoes, harnesses and helmets- everything fit perfectly ( not sure how they got it right on one try, but they did!) Francesco led us on a trail up the mountain to our climbing site, where there were many bolted sport climbs. We warmed up with a couple of fun easier climbs, practiced smearing with a bit more challenging route, then challenged our physical and mental strength with a more difficult, gorgeous climb from a higher vista up stalactites. Francesco was a great guide and leader! We highly recommend this outing- it was one of the highlights of our Italian vacation!

The folks at Toonado hooked up a last second climbing session above Positano. The position above the sea is amazing, and the climbing on tufas is unforgettable. Francesco, the guide, offered a sample of routes of varying styles, many which he personally bolted. He is intimately familiar with the area, and talked about the history and culture of the area and people. Great person to climb with and get to know! I hope one day to return!

We had the best time! Our private hiking experience was incredible with our hiking guide Mario. He was very helpful and showed us hidden secrets of the path. We enjoyed his commentary very much and he also helped us get through a few difficult spots throughout the hike. The tour company (Ivana) was also amazing - she helped us arrange round-trip private transfers from and to Positano, which made our experience so much more enjoyable and carefree. Highly recommend! The view from this path is absolutely stunning and this tour is the highlight of our Positano trip for sure! Thank you Mario and Ivana!!

My husband and I did a climbing excursion and it was stellar! The location was beautiful and our guide, Francesco, was amazing. Our favorite thing we did during our week-long vacation!

We did the rock climbing at Sorrento Punta Campanella and on another day the Guided Path of the Gods Hike. Ivana who runs Toonado was amazing in helping with arrangements, and in the few days before the tour, links up with you on Whatsapp for last minute issues. For the Rock climbing we did this with Francesco who organises rock climbing activities throughout the year, and the experience was amazing, including walking down (only problem is the tiring walk up!) to the rock climbing site which is also where there is a beautiful cavern/blowhole to see. Great views of Capri. There were local social rock climbers there and even though we and our teenage girls had only ever climbed on indoor walls before, we had a great time! Maybe the walk down to the site might be a little intimidating for those with a a fear of heights, but my older daughter who is a little skittish about that, still managed fine! For the Path of the Gods, again well organised and knowledgeable hiking guide Mario. Beautiful views and great local knowledge! Maybe the only thing to note is the starting point is Bomerano, and ending point is Nocelle. Getting out from Nocelle is very easy with the local bus bringing us back to Positano. But getting to Bomerano was surprising. It seems so close on the map, but to get there from Positano by private car you need to backtrack all the way past Sorrento and come in to Bomerano from the north behind the mountains! A long > 1 hour drive. I think planning the Path of the Gods hike staying in Sorrento might be better and more economical... All in all excellent active alternative experience in Amalfi. Highly recommended!

Incredible experience! Our guide was knowledgeable, thoroughly prepared, and spoke many languages (including English). He also shared interesting things along the way, which we would not have known without a guide…made our experience so much more meaningful. We ended with some delicious fresh lemonade and orange juice. Yes, as others have said on other forums, this hike is doable solo with solid experience, but we would not have had half as much fun without hearing our guide’s anecdotes and learning about the path’s history and important landmarks. Lastly, we used their private transfer service as well (round trip, from Positano to Bomerano/start point, and then from Nocelle/end point back to Positano), which was very worth it, and our driver was friendly and professional. Overall highly recommend this company!! Thank you!

A wonderful hike! Mario was a great guide and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this hike. I would suggest bringing water and a snack and eat a light breakfast before.

We are so happy we booked this trek through Toonado. Paola was a wonderful guide and so kind and helpful to our 10 year old. The trek was easily one of the most beautiful we’ve ever done. Highlight of our trip. Cannot recommend it enough.

Such a fun morning paddling along the coast with a swim at the natural pools. Ivana was super lovely, a great teacher and very knowledgeable about the local area.

We had a great experience. I was interested in climbing while staying in Positano, my wife was not as interested but wanted to join and get photos. They let her tag along with no extra costs. They worked with our busy vacation schedule to find us a time that worked. Our guide Francesco (I hope I got the spelling right) was an awesome local guide and spoke great English. I could tell immediately that he was a skilled climber and belay, I felt totally safe on all the routes. Not only was he knowledgeable with climbing, but had knowledge of local ecology, history, and culture. The climbing was spectacular, I’ve never had such a great view at the top as I did in Positano. For the price, you could not find a guided experience as great as this in the US. They have all the gear, local knowledge, and skill to guide a climber at any experience level. 10/10
