This farm tour and lunch was the absolute highlight of my Amalfi coast trip. It was not on our original plan, but due to scheduling changes we had a free day and decided to check this out, especially since it included lunch. We went in blind so I had no expectations at all, which made it extra fun. A mystery tourist activity. It is a family owned farm with the focus on lemons and olives. They grow a little of everything there though. The tour guide for us was one of the sons, Eugenio. He shared so much knowledge with the group and was very charming. He made everything interesting and was able to answer just about any question tossed his way. I now know so much more about olive oil and how to use it, and how to pick out the good stuff. The farm also has animals such as goats, chicken, cows, cats, and pigs, many of whom I got to pet, so that was an added bonus. And they make their own wine. Throughout the tour we got to smell many of the herbs they grow, as well as the lemons! I was able to pick a fig fresh from the tree. I've never had a better fig! While we toured the mother of the family was cooking lunch for the group - made from farm fresh ingredients! There were meats and cheeses, pasta, fried zucchini flowers, eggs (hard boiled with lemon olive oil drizzle), lemon tiramisu, and of course limoncello, lemonade, and wine - all made there! I'm sure there are foods I am missing but everything was heavenly. As a note - they do ask about food allergies and dietary restrictions so it sounds like they can accommodate for most things! I purchased olive oil (lemon and regular), lemon marmalade, and limoncello. And I'm already regretting not getting giant sizes off all (it wouldn't fit in my luggage). I could go on for pages and paragraphs about this place, but the best thing I can say is just go try it! I will make my way back any time I am in Italy. Worth the trip. They deserve a Michelin star for the lunch if you ask me. Nothing like an Italian Nonna cooking in her kitchen for you.

Absolutely fantastic experience of a lemon and olive producing farm in the Sorrento Peninsula + much more. We learnt so much about lemons, limoncello and olive oil production and then we had the delights of an absolutely delicious lunch, using produce from the farm, cooked by our guide's mother in the family home + home made wine.. A real taste of Italy, we cannot praise this tour highly enough even though it was raining when we went. A fantastic host also not forgetting the minibus driver.

If nothing else do this. Brilliant tour highly recommend this . Wonderful family and great fulfilling lunch. Mother is an excellent cook.

My whole experience in sorrento was amazing, pompei was great lots of walking. We walked to harbour also amazing. Hotel Michealandelo was fantastic rooms cleaned daily staff all friendly. Food was delicious plenty on menu to choose from only thing I didn't enjoy was the coffee. The staff in the rooftop bar were very nice and friendly. It was nice to sit there of a night time. 3 nights there was entertainment on. Would I go again definitely

This was a wonderful family friendly or adults only farm tour. The farm was started in 1898, our host, the newest generation, was informative, humorous and multitalented (walked across the netting). Animal petting and feeding was encouraged, including of the cats and kittens running around. We received lessons on making wine and lemon cello. Two of our party are gluten free and they went out of their way to accommodate us for lunch and tastings of fresh marmalade, honey, and flavored olive oils.

The experience was wonderful despite the rainy weather. Educational and entertaining tour of lemon groves, explanation of all properties. Familly run business offering great food experiences!

This tour far exceeded any expectations my family and I had. The family who owns the farm all work together to keep the entire production going. We were allowed access to the various components of the facility including the animals , vast quantities of vegetation, wine cellar , and of course the magnificent lemon trees. We were given fresh lemonade , homemade wine , various olive oils also made on premise, jams , honey , magnificent limoncello, and a delicious meal prepared by the mama. This family is purely delightful and the best afternoon in a beautiful slice of heaven. Do not miss this tour. Grazie alla familglia!

What a lovely passionate family! Enjoyed the tour very much And the lovely meal cooked by their mother, Marry. So accommodating, though it’s the slow season in Sorrento with loads of activities canceled and hotels closed. They still managed to make it work. Sustainable farming done here! We are a family of 6 (2 adults and 4 children) and we wanted to experience something different and we were not disappointed. I arranged the tour directly with the farm and as we were staying quite a way away the owners arranged to transport us to/from our accommodation. The tour of the farm was very interesting and we all learned a lot, and how they use the land to its full potential from Euginio, who is clearly very passionate about his farm . My children particularly enjoyed seeing and stroking the young kittens and feeding the animals. Then we all got to experience the wonderful produce of the farm cooked by Mama. There was plenty of food for us all (and wine and limoncello for the adults), and we all agreed it was the best food we had eaten during our stay in Italy. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the area and would not hesitate to return. Thank you again for being so welcoming and friendly.

My girlfriend and I couldn't recommend this experience more! Greeted by our wonderful host, Eugenio, we were amazed to learn how this self-sufficient farm has grown and adapted through the generations. We were enticed initially by the picturesque lemon groves & olives trees, but were left beaming having learnt about all the other special produce seeded, grafted and carefully harvested by the family-run farm (not to mention meeting the local goats, chickens, cows and pigs!). Schooling over, we were then treated to not only a tasting session of the produce, but to a full, home-cooked meal from 'mama'. Finished off with a Limenocello toast, we took home some very fond memories and new friends. Would highly recommend! Alla nostra! James & Sarah

They picked us up. They showed us around their family farm. let my son play with the goats, the ducks, cows, pigs and kittens and then their mom makes us a traditional dinner while we sip on wine they have made and sit outside above the farm. Do yourself a favor, do this. It is a relaxing 3 hours that you won't regret.

The three generations of owners here are so knowledgeable, professional and entertaining. The locally prepared and sourced meal at the end is to die for. Great tour.

We went on the morning tour which finishes with a generous lunch accompanied by home produced wine. The Azenda La Masseria has been owned and run by the same family for some 5 generations. The property and its lemon and olive groves are located on the steep western slopes of the Sorrento Peninsula. Our tour was led by one of the sons who spoke perfect English. Hugely informative - for example few of us, if any, knew that lemon trees are not actually grown from lemon seeds, but grafted on to a bitter orange tree root stock. This appears to be the norm for most citrus fruit-bearing trees. The olive oil from the Azienda is delicious. We sampled the extra virgin and were then offered the Lemon and Orange extra virgin oils. Wow !!! Superb hit of both lemon and orange in both of our two samples. The oil making process as well as that for making Limoncello were explained in detail. The tour concludes with a generous lunch accompanied by home produced wine ... and of course the Limoncello to end. Special dietary needs are catered for. Definitely recommend this informative diversion to those visiting this region of Italy.

Me and my mom visited La Masseria Farm for tour and we really enjoyed it. The farm is traditional italian family run farm, that makes the experience truly authentic and nice. We had really nice tour around gardens and lemon grove. I learned so much new about olive trees and lemons that I didn't knew before, so also wonderful experience learning wise. After garden tour we tasted wine, different olive oils, cheese, prociutto, bruschettas, jams... Everything grown and produced on the sport. And the afternoon ended with delicious homemade lunch + ofcourse homemade limoncello on top of it :) I really recommend the tour, full of authenticity and warmness of local people :) Thank you so much for having us!

On vacation with family including children. The owners conduct the tour and provide their home-grown food for tastings. Highly recommend.
