Great views, cuisine and shopping. All the ingredients for a relaxing Italian holiday.
This was our first visit to Capri and we were pleasantly surprised by some of the unique features in this town. Narrow streets with no cars. Only electric vehicles that are about a meter wide. A Funicular gets you there from the ferry docks and the cobblestone streets are lined with shops, restaurants and beautiful hotels. Also, make sure you visit Ana Capri as well for it has more affordable shopping and a different vibe than Capri.

One of the best hotels: Jetwin blue
Me and my mom went to the Jetwin Blue hotel on October. And we stayed about three weeks there. The view, food and work staff: they all were excellent. And the cafe out there, near Jetwin blue/ blue breeze: the food and drinks everything were just perfect. There were two working boys there: BEIOU and RIKSHAN they were such helpful and pleasant boys. We enjoyed our time there so much. The experience was great .

Beautiful Boat Tour Along the Coast of Sorrento & Capri
Our tour was back in July, so I’m a little late posting this review, but I couldn’t miss the chance to share how incredible this experience was! This boat tour was the absolute highlight of our entire Italy trip and far exceeded our expectations. Ross (“Happy Man”) and Francesco (“Francis”) were fantastic hosts, and I would 100% recommend them to anyone planning a Sorrento or Capri boat tour while visiting Italy. They truly made the experience unforgettable, and we’re so grateful to have had them as our guides. Although we were staying in Positano, YouKnow Boat Tours offered a convenient shuttle service to and from the departure site in Sorrento, which made the logistics stress-free. Since our tour was in the heat of July, the swimming stops, refreshments, and snacks were a lifesaver! The music on board set the perfect vibe, and everyone in our group was having an amazing time. While our tour didn’t stop at the Blue Grotto, we didn’t feel like we missed out at all. We explored other stunning grottos, even venturing inside one, which was just as magical. This was hands-down the most breathtaking boat ride of my life, and I can’t imagine anything ever topping it. My fiancé and I had a wonderful time meeting others in our group all coming from different areas of the world, and Ross was so informative throughout the journey. As a local, he shared great insights about the area and even gave us helpful transportation tips when we arrived in Capri. We had plenty of time to explore the island and checked off our top priority: the chairlift in Anacapri. Afterward, we reunited with the group for a scenic ride back to Sorrento, complete with one last refreshing swim. The tour ended on a perfect note with a limoncello toast. When I return to Italy, this boat tour will absolutely be at the top of my list again, and I hope to see Ross and Francesco once more. Thank you for an incredible experience!

Don’t miss this tour! It was fantastic!
This was by far the best tour we went on in all 15 days in Italy.the boat was clean & comfortable. Alex & Peppe were great guides. They were friendly & a lot of fun. Spent some time in Capri. The chair lift in Capri gives you a great view. The Blue Grotto was closed but they showed us other caves & gave us plenty of time to swim in the Tyrrhenian Sea. They played great American music. Lunch & drinks were included.

      Amazing Tour
This tour was amazing, really quite the adventure. We cruised all around Capri and visited about 5 or 6 grottos - including the Blue Grotto. Our host, Francesca was great so charming and helpful. The snacks and drinks were very nice. The boat was very new and our captian was very skilled getting all around Capri. We also got 4 hours to explore the island. And to top it off, we watched the sun setting over Capri as we traveled back to Sorrento. A fantastic day!

      Best Experience
Luisa and Federico were our captain and guides and they made the trip amazing! We had so much fun touring the coastlines and seeing all the grottos. The weather wasn’t the best but they did great navigating and still giving us a great time! It was great going with just a small group and during the off season when there was no one else around. We enjoyed visiting capri and anacapri. Make sure you take the chairlift while you’re there! Amazing views

      Beautiful views!
This was a fabulous tour and I would highly recommend it. The views are gorgeous and the day at sea was amazing. The two stops in town were equally nice, but would have liked a little more time in town to explore.

      The BEST boat tour
Anna and Luca were the BEST captains. The boat was perfect for the 11 of us. They had snacks, drinks, and even a Caprese sandwich when we disembarked at Capri. They were so friendly and gave us such an informative tour around Capri. They encouraged us to swim in the green grotto, and took us to the waterfall. We hope to be back and do it again in the near future. Thank you!!

We had an unforgettable boat tour with Louisa and Giuseppe! From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make the experience perfect. Highlight of my tour to Italy!
This was the highlight of my entire trip to Italy. I didn’t think my trip could be any better until I met Lucia and Giuseppe! Lucia is a passionate tour guide and first mate and Giuseppe is one of the best boat captains ever! This was an upbeat tour with great music . We had a hillside dancing and singing with us at one point. We saw the blue, white, red and green grottos before heading to the town of Capri. After time to ourselves we headed back for one more surprise they called a waterfall that was like the fountain of youth. So caught up in the moment I let them take me under the water fall fully clothed. This is a must do trip!

Highlight of our trip to Italy.
This was by far, the best, most entertaining, most gorgeous excursion we have ever been on!! It does help that the environment is spectacular and our weather was beautiful, but the boat was incredibly comfortable, the captain Nino was a very experienced seaman, as well as very entertaining, and a skilled singer!! Ursula the first mate was so knowledgeable, helpful and entertaining and beyond accommodating. I cannot recommend this company enough and we were so very fortunate to have had this experience!! We would also like to give a shout out to the great people we met on the boat and our shared experience of the Blue Grotto, the ski-lift on the island of capri, and being showered by the waterfall of perpetual youth in Sorento! (Again expertly navigated by Captain Nino !) 10/10 recommendations!! I can’t speak to the results of the waterfall of perpetual youth - that will need some time.

We really enjoyed our day with Roberta and Federico! The whole experience was very well organised including the transfers from our hotel which were included. We were picked up at 9.30am and the tour started very promptly after we arrived. There were only a few people on our boat (we had booked the small group trip) and there was lots of space to lie out and relax. The boat was beautiful, clean and well maintained, it had a platform at the back (with some steps) which made getting back on board after swimming easy! Roberta was friendly, attentive and a great hostess. Federico was a great captain, he took us into these tiny caves and grottos and showed us some wonderful swimming spots! There is a perfect amount of time in Capri, long enough to take the chairlift to the top of Monte Solaro and explore both anacapri and Capri. It was great value and we couldn’t have asked for more - would highly recommend booking.

We had a great boat ride from Sorrento to Capri with our guide Francesca and skipper Tomasso. It was a rainy day but the two made sure we all stayed dry and were comfortable. There was a cool surprise Prosecco moment with corny love music :) For lunch we got a yummy Caprese sandwich and later on also Limoncello. We couldn’t enter the Blue Grotto due to the high tides but this gives us another reason to come back. On the island we booked a private bus tour for 15€ directly through Francesca and we explored Anacapri and Capri within 3-4 hours. I would recommend this tour when you only have 1 day for Capri as you pretty much see everything in 1 day.

This trip is by far the best experience we had on our honeymoon in Sorrento!

We were able to enjoy a private experience visiting the coast of Amalfi/Capri while visiting all of the grottos the coast has to offer. Our new friend and tour guide, Federico, explained the history of the area in great detail and treated us as if we were family. He not only helped make recommendations as to where we should eat, swim, and enjoy our day but he also was in contact to help arrange reservations the next day!

We highly recommend this trip and feel that the cost and experience are well worth the cost of a private boat. Please don't forget to request Federico when you book, he was the one who helped make our trip unforgettable.

    Thanks again,
    Scott & Jackie

This boat tour was amazing! Lorenzo was our guide and he and the captain treated us to a wonderful day cruising around the Gulf of Naples, circling Capri with stops to take pictures and swim, and then a stop to tour the island on our own. We were unable to go in the Blue Grotto due to the wind and rough water. For info, that would have required disembarking our boat to stand in line and be taken in by a smaller boat in smaller groups. I believe an additional fee would have applied as well since the Blue Grotto tours are operated independently. We had a total of 8 on board and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the views. Even though the water was a bit rough, our captain took good care to give us a safe and enjoyable ride. We had 3 generations in our family enjoying this tour and it will be an experience we will never forget. Highly recommend. The only issue we experienced was being able to find the meeting point at the marina. Our hotel was too far away for tour pick up so we had to take a taxi. We arrived early before much had opened in the marina. The “address” we were given by our travel agent couldn’t be found in our phones and no one at the marina recognized it either. I had to walk and ask around until I found where we needed to be to check in. I was worried we were going to miss the tour. This could have been an issue with the info given by our travel agent rather than the tour company. But if you are also taking your own transportation, I would strongly recommend that you contact the tour company the day before your tour and clarify where to go to check in.

We loved this trip, the crew made us feel welcome and gave us great tips on Capri. Alessandro was very knowledgeable and captain Fred was unbelievably good at driving the boat, even though it was a little choppy out at sea he managed to keep us steady the whole way. We highly recommend this trip its a great way to see the island and enjoy life at sea for a while. Go for it you won't be disappointed.

Had a lovely day out on Capri via the You Know! boat, crewed by Luisa and Federica. What a wonderful day.

We had looked around but after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor took the plunge and paid for two ticket online 89 euros each. This was actually considerable cheaper than the Hotel offering and even via the local office in Piccola port in Sorrento. They wanted 100 euros but did not pick up and drop off and more importantly to me they landed at the small port (Piccola port) on Capri rather than the larger Grand Marina port where the Funicular and buses etc were.

The “Captain” said it would be fine and buses ran every 5 minutes to Capri which raised my suspicion, he also said all the small boat tours dropped off at Piccola. I did some checking and found that buses ran every 30 minutes or so and you could get dropped off at the main harbor, so we went with You Know!

I am so glad we did, we were picked up a few minutes from our Hotel and dropped at the port, from there we boarded a small boat (a total of 12 passengers) and soon started our trip to Capri Island after a short cruise along the Sorrento coast.

Luisa and Federico were a delight and did all they could to make our tour an enjoyable one. Luisa actually lives in Ana Capri so was a fountain of local knowledge. There was ample room for all of us on board and we were supplied with drinks and snacks throughout and also a Buffalo cheese & tomato roll to take with us onto the island (a nice touch). Federico did all the usual stops as we cruised around the Island turning the boat at each stop so that we could all take photos from wherever we were on the boat while Luisa pointed out all the landmarks. We also stopped off for some of the braver passengers to dive overboard for a swim in the cove. While it was a sunny April day and about 21c the water was a little too cold for me!

We were dropped off at the Main port Grand Marina with a choice to take a bus the Funicular or a cab up to the town of Capri. There was a further option that Luisa explained to us which was a semi private bus (this is not affiliated with You Know!). For 15 euros each the bus would take us up to Ana Capri where we would have approx. 2 hours before meeting at the terminal to be taken down to Capri again for approx 2 hours after which the bus would drop us back to the port where we started. This compared to about 8-10 euros each taking buses and the Funicular. We decided to take the semi-private bus as it gave us the opportunity of seeing both towns while others wanted to ride the Funicular.

We headed back after 4 hours on Capri, with a cold beer on board and a very happy group of passengers. We were picked up from the port in Sorrento and dropped off just a two minute walk from our Hotel. I cannot recommend this trip highly enough. Luisa and Federico were absolutely lovely and worked very hard to make sure we all enjoyed our day, we saw everything that we had hoped to see and did it in a relaxed way in good company without the crush. Have a good trip!

What an absolutely amazing boat trip. We were picked up promptly outside our hotel, and there was good communication before the day to let us know when we would be picked up. We were driven to the port and organised into groups, and made it on to our boat on time for our departure. There were about ten of us on the boat and there was plenty of room to spread out. We sailed along the Sorrento coastline first and our guide Francesca pointed out the various sights and gave us lots of information. We then sailed on to Capri and did a lap of the island with Francesca pointing out the sights. We were glad we didn't book a tour that included blue grotto, as it was closed on the day due to sea conditions as it often is. We stopped part way round for swimming for about 15 minutes and floats were provided, Francesca was lovely even offering to take photos of us jumping off the boat etc. After getting back on the boat we were given crisps and a choice of drink, the drinks were all cold. We the continued around the island and were offered prosecco. We arrived at the Marina Grande around 1pm, we were told we had 4 hours to explore the island. Francesca gave us her recommendations of how to spend the time and advice on how to travel around. We all got given a sandwich as we got off the boat, which was delicious and very welcome as we quickly discovered how expensive Capri is! We weren't that impressed by the island, we had to queue for ages for the funicular to take us up to Capri centre and there were just lots of designer shops and overpriced restaurants with waiters that were reluctant to serve us, we heard from other people on the boat that they had had similar experiences. However I'd still 100% recommend this tour just for how good the boat ride was, and the beautiful scenery around the island. We were picked up promptly at 5pm and sailed back, we were given a cold beer, some fruit and a cake, followed by limoncello. It was such a good day and we couldn't believe the amount of food and drink that was included. We were picked up at the port and went straight into the transport back to our hotel. A few weeks later we were also emailed the photos that were taken on the boat, which was a lovely memento.

Things to be aware of: shoes have to be taken off on the boat, which wasn't an issue for us. The sea was also very choppy, there had been a storm the night before so not sure how choppy it usually would be. We sat at the front of the boat and were drenched on the way back! Not an issue for us as it added to the excitement but just something to be aware of. There are seats on the back, or you can sit on the 'deck' at the front (not sure of the right word!)

Personally we were disappointed in the overall trip based on how good the reviews were. It was not worth the money we spent. We had a long 1 hour wait before beginning the journey to Capri. We had a lovely group with 10 people in total. Capri was beautiful but July is extremely hot and overcrowded so would not recommend this time of year for trips like this. Being a weekend might not have helped either. There was some communication issues with the skipper and on return to the port for our return journey, we were again left waiting roughly 45 minutes in the 36 degree scorching heat. Our skipper said he could not see us on the jetty so had to send another boat ahead of us. We were there 15 minutes before our scheduled meeting time and were not allowed onto the jetty by a port worker. This resulted in a late departure with issues also with the coast guard meaning boats were left queuing. We in turn missed our return transfer to our hotel as we arrived back late and we’re out money arranging alternative transportation. Disappointed as we were really looking forward to this trip and we may as well have spent less money on the public ferry

A tour with this boat and skipper Allesandro ( Alex for short ) is a must.
The 2 hosts are very outgoing people who's priority is going out to the guests. Enthousiastic story telling and clear instructions will start of the tour. You will see a lot of special spots while you enjoy the weather and sights around you. Feeling like a VIP.
We passed by the "Blue Grotto" with the explanation that it is not worth the money and we were promised a more spectacular view... And did we get it? ABSOLUTELY.
But first we went to the island Capri. We stopped at a place to swim and after that we went on the island.
On Capri, you are on your own. No Alex to guide you and you will notice. On Capri they seem a little grumpy or hessitant on tourists not using the local language.
On Capri the main thing to do is to take the ski-lift up to Monte Solerno. The rest felt a little more of the same.
We were eager to get back to the boat, the fun.
After everything we departured to go around the rest of the island and to swim into a cave which was breathtaking. A memory to never forget.
Some music on the boat to keep you extra company and you'll wish the day would never end.
There is enough food and drinks for everyone and surely plenty to see.
Long story short.... Just book this tour and enjoy.

Fantastic experience to visit Capri by boat! Our tour guide Luca was quite engaging with the group explaining each stops made. We visited White Grotto, Emerald Cave, Blue Grotto (from outside as there is always long queue there, Faraglioni Rocks.
Music and snacks are offered on board as well.

Arrived at Marina Grande in Capri, we were given around 4h for free walk around. We recommended from the tour guide to pay a private local bus company to go around the island for about 20 euros per person as taxi were costly and public transports had some lines closed.

In Anacapri we recommend visiting the top of mount Solaro by cable way (14 euros per person for a return ticket), very relaxing and great views at the top.

In Capri, enjoy getting lost in city streets with an ice creams or limoncello Spritz! Make sure you visit the Augustus Gardens for 1.5 euro. You get one of the best views of the island.

Overall, I totally recommend this tour!
