We saw this musical 3/4 years ago and recommended it to friends who were visiting Sorrento. It was performed at the Teatro Tasso and included a varied scenery backdrop, several dancers and an enjoyable group of singers and musicians. We enjoyed it so much we booked again this year but the venue has changed to the local cinema and the cast is reduced. We only realised the venue had changed on the night and nearly missed the start of the performance. We received our welcome drink on the cinema landing with no atmosphere whatsoever. The show only lasted about an hour so overall it was not value for money. There was so much audience participation but that appears to be because of the lack of cast members. I will not recommend this again.

Giving show high rating not getting to see show (not their fault)..Bought tickets through "VIATOR" for Monday, September 16th...But when we showed up at Theater, no one was there, and found out that there is no shows on Mondays... It took almost an hour on phone to get refund from Viator... and a wasted evening...Of course not blaming performers...But am blaming Viator for advertising Monday shows!

Fun night with many favorite Italian songs. My friend and I took the dinner and show package. It was really a great deal. First you join everyone on a terrace on have a drink. Then you are ushered into the upstairs area for your dinner with a choice of a meat or fish dinner. This was very good. While eating you are entertained by 2 men who play the violin and entertain you with songs and you can sing along...After the show starts. It is in Italian, but it doesn't matter as you get the ideawhat is going on from the scenery. There are 4 different scenes and the customs and the music and songs are great. Some new and some songs very familiar.....No problem to get there as it is close to Tasso Plaza.

The show is entertaining and the female lead singer has a special voice and sings beautifully. However for that price the show should be much better. There are two main things to work on: 1. Sound problems during the show. 2. They do too much the cliché of sending dancers to dance among the crowd. The do that so often that it even seems they use it just because they have no more dances rehearsed... the even do a conga line! For what they are charging they show should be more professional.

Excellent nights entertainment.good fun audience participation. Worth a visit. Can be booked as dinner and show 50€ but we just went for show only 25€

Booked this as it was something a little different. We booked the full package, dinner and show. Excellent Value. We were given a glass of Prosecco on arrival, had a starter, main and desert, with a large glass of red wine, a bottle of water and a large limoncello, as well as front row tickets to the show. all included with the price. Had a great evening. Although it is all in Italian, it is easy to understand and was very enjoyable.

I booked this as it is something different. I had the full package which included a meal with drinks and the show.
The meal was excellent, for the main course I had a pizza. It was that big I could not eat all of it. The waiter asked would I like to wait for my desert has he could see that I was struggling. My desert arrived on the time we had agreed.
But while I was resting I see even the locals were struggling with theirs.
When it came to near the time that the show was to begin a female came over to me gave me a program and told me to go up. I was treated like royalty.
The show was great with Italian folk dancing and folk singing. The audience was involved also. There was also some well known songs which was easy to sing along with.
It was the best thing I did going to it on my break in Sorrento.

Hello,
When it comes to seating that is what I thought. Like I said I did it via the the hotel. I did not have to pay anything at the hotel.
When I arrived I just said who I was and the hotels name.
I was not given a ticket, you just go where you want. I sat in the front row at the end. The front row should be left empty has they perform along it.
It's a case of sitting anywhere you want. Hope that helps and enjoy your evening.
