      Memorable day
Wonderful day trip from Sorrento. Tour leader Eugene was fabulous, very knowledgeable and able to respond to any questions. His communication was very clear. Driver Pepe was amazing navigating the narrow roadways especially to Mt Vesuvius. Thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour of Pompeii Archeological Park with Francesco. His expert knowledge ensured we gained lots of information and accessed the key areas. Mt Vesuvius was a challenge walking up & down on slippery gravel, but the view at the top was spectacular. Walking poles would be an advantage and there were some free ones available at the site.

Toilet reviews and surprise engagement, perfect day 💞
Our trip was fantastic, monika was our tour guide at Pompeii and she was wonderful, informative and we didn’t feel overly rushed or pressured despite sticking to a two hour time frame. We took up the €17 lunch menu which was delicious and efficient on time, there were food stalls along the road but a giant pizza and ice cream and a can of coke for €17 is perfect! Don’t forget 50c coins for the toilets which are super clean. The hike up Vesuvius was challenging but so worth it for the incredible views, there are a few little trinket shops along the way which also sell drinks if you’ve run out by the time you reach the top (if it’s hot DRINK YOUR WATER) bring tissues and hand sanitiser though because the toilets are rotten and had zero toilet paper. Another amazing thing which I cannot guarantee for everyone on this tour was we got engaged at the top of the volcano 💕 so all in all it was a wonderful day and we highly recommend!

      Sorrento trip
My wife and I did the pompeii/mt. vesuvius tour on our 2nd day in Sorrento. After meeting our tour guide Mimi at Tasso Square office location, our group walked a few blocks to board a bus. Mimi was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. The Pompeii portion was well organized and we had another great guide, Melania. For us the 2-hour tour was just enough to get a good overview of life in Pompeii, but you could certainly spend more time there (area is huge). The 17-euro lunch (optional) is nothing to write home about, but we were glad to get a table and also met a nice couple from Ireland. After lunch we were back on bus for an hour ride to Mt. Vesuvius. The day was rainy/cloudy, and we were told the day before that the summit closes for bad weather, and when we arrived that is exactly what happened: The hiking path up to the top had closed. Despite the weather not improving, we sat on the bus for about 30" as Mimi checked to see if the trail might reopen. I think this aspect of the tour could be improved: It seemed pretty clear weather was not getting better, so we would have preferred to just return to Sorrento rather than spending time on bus. That said, the tour overall was very good and I would highly recommend.

      A Must Do Pompeii/Vesuvius Adventure!
This was a wonderful experience! The company got us to Pompeii and through the entrance before the crowds! Our Pompeii guide was knowledgeable and led us through the amazing sites. We were able to get some exceptional photos of empty streets and squares before the crowds emerged. Vesuvius was a bit of a climb but well worth the breathtaking views and seeing the caldera up close. Our trip guide, Andrea, was fun, attentive and knowledgeable about the history. Our bus driver, Luigi, was amazing in safely navigating our bus through tight spaces and busy traffic. I would definitely recommend this trip and company.

      A Majestic View
What a truly Majestic view from the grounds of Pompeii all the way up to Mt. Vesuvius! It's was a great tour for those who are there on a limited time, I would recommend to do these on separate days to really take it all in without feeling rushed about. Our tour guide LuLu was so funny and energetic, the driver did a excellent job of getting around the scarily tight and bendy roads. The only complaint was the moody and unfriendly tour group we was with, almost non-responsive to say the least. Other than that, the tour was fantastic! Highly recommend you go really early to get some great pictures before it gets flooded with people.

A great day, guide and hike - So interesting.
A very well organised tour out of the centre of Sorrento. Our Pompeii guide Gabriella who was passionate plus very knowledgeable who had us into sections before any crowds arrived. A set menu for lunch is available after your Pompeii tour for €17. After lunch you move on to hike Mt. Vesuvius - approx. 25 minutes will get you to the top, not the easiest hike but with a few stops it’s fine. Beautiful views of Naples and the coast from the top. Well worth doing.

      Pompeii and Vesuvius guided tour
Although it was my own fault, I was late for the morning bus to Pompeii, and got incredibly "robbed" by a taxy who quoted me an insane amount to get to Pompeii, as I was trying to still make it in time to take the trip with the guide. However, the telephone agent Lucia was incredibly patient and helpful in guiding me to the meeting point, and when I couldn't find it properly, Lucia put in direct contact with Isabella, who also incredibly patient and helpful in at least getting me into the site so I could tour Pompeii on my own. It was a great experience, and I cannot speak more highly of the service I received from both Lucia, and even moreso from Isabella, both of whom went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure I got into the site. The only two recommendations I have are as follows: 1) I did not know that I could have taken a train directly (or close to) the Pompeii ruins, and even though I have been warned by friends and family before about the notorious cheats that call themselves taxi drivers in Napoli, since I had no clue of any other way to get there, and did not want to waste the money I spent on the tour so far, I was taken for 70 Euros for a cab ride that took about 25 minutes. Again this is my own fault for being late and being stupid, but I am suggesting that in the future, it might be wise to tell a customer in my position to avoid a taxi at all cost, and if necessary, to inform the customer what a tasi fare for a trip that long should cost for a Napoli native ;) 2) Having missed my group, which in fact supposedly waited an extra half hour for me as it seemed that I was close enough to join them (I felt so bad that I offered beer or drinks to everyone in the group at our break point, of which only a few took me up on the offer, unfortunately), it does now occur to me, many days later, that perhaps I could have been given the name and a picture of the tour guide, with whom I am guessing you have dealt with before, and perhaps should be added as part of the itinerary when the group is assembled, even in case someone gets lost, or a locator somehow using GPS with the tour guide, so they might be able to find their group even if late, like I was, or wanders off or needs the bathroom, as I heard another client complain about that day. In fact, I remember passing Michele (our Pompeii tour guide) early on in my solitary travels around Pompeii and wish I would have known he was mine to join the group. Again, the two above suggestions are only to help give better service in the future, and should in no way be considered "complaints"!!! I was ecstatic with the service I received from Lucia and Isabella, and also want to commend Antonio, our bus driver, for his exceptional skill at getting us to and from, on incredibly narrow and winding roads, with other buses and cars passing by, not to mention the usual craziness that are the streets of Napoli. I would definitely recommend the tour to others, and will certainly use your company in the future whenever I am in Napoli. Gratefully yours, Michael Zeppieri

A leisurely and informative walk around Sorrento
We had an interesting walk around Sorrento with Gabriella. Since it was soon after breakfast we did not really take full advantage of the street food we were introduced to, perhaps a later start would be good for others. She was very knowledgeable and went the extra mile with us - literally! - so we could find the market, which turned out to be not worth the effort in the end.

The tour experience was breathtakingly beautiful, but the day is quite long, and there is a fair amount of time spent on the bus. I had two teenage boys with me and they were remarkably patient despite the long day. You get a taste of the history of Amalfi, Positano, and Ravello, but it is a bit of a "best of " tour as there is not an exceedingly large amount of time to spend in any one place. That being said, you do get a feel for each place and have a bit of time to shop and eat and/or have a beverage. You have time to have your lunch in Amalfi, and our guide, Lisa, was excellent in being able to make reservations for us ahead of time and to guide us as to the local cuisine that we should consider. I had one of the best seafood dishes of my life in Amalfi. Lisa really did enhance the trip with her enthusiasm, and I give her a lot of credit for continuing to educate us and taking the opportunity to teach us more when our bus was stuck in considerable traffic coming home at the end of the day. She really had the perfect balance of educating us without being overbearing. Her enthusiasm never wavered and we did learn quite a bit about the region. Taking the tour at the peak of summer has its challenges with both the heat and the number of people, especially in Positano. We did opt to take the optional boat ride for a total of two boat rides in the tour. The second optional boat ride did give us access to some beautiful views of the coast, but it is a bit expensive. Both the ride to and from Sorrento and the boat ride can be difficult on those with motion sickness. I highly recommend that people consider this ahead of time and consider non-drowsy medication to assist. Both of my kids get motion sickness and they were fine but did need to take non-drowsy formulated Dramamine prior to the trip. Also, if you have a serious fear of heights, there are parts of the tour where there are large cliff overhangs and if this is not your cup of tea, it could be a bit frightening. I thought the pluses far outweigh the negatives overall and I would still recommend the tour, but be prepared for a long day, and hydrate yourself well if you take the tour in the summer.

The tour is a great way to see three places along the Amalfi coast in one day. If you are unfamiliar with how to get around that region this is a very easy and cost effective way to see Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello in a one day trip. Each stop is approximately two hours time in each area and if you just want an overview of each town this is a great way to do it. You can easily spend more time in each town, and if you are someone who likes to explore at your own pace this is probably not the best option for you. The timing on each stop is very strict, and they take it very seriously. Overall a very enjoyable day along the Amalfi coast with a very knowledgeable and friendly guide.

Trip started in the square infront of the company building. Short walk to the air-conditioned bus. On board Roberto explained the trip details and we headed for our first view point along the coast. 5 minutes there then moved onto head to Positano. It was busy in Positano however we got given radios (with an ear phone) to wear whilst the group of 15 of us followed Roberto through Positano and he explained where to go and what to try for 1.5 hrs (we didn’t try Prickly Pear but wanted to, the cafe Buca di bacco bar has a toilet you can access when you buy something, the sea is amazing, sore stones on the feet, beautiful church) onto the boat that took us to Amalfi. Roberto can book you a seat at lunch, this was worth it regardless if you’re eating or drinking, it was busy in amalfi! There was an additional boat ride that you signed up for (€15 pp) that took you east and west of amalfi with commentary. The bus then took us up to Ravello for 1hr, great Gelato and beautiful views of the mountainous coast. Then 2 hrs back home (we had bad traffic due to an accident). It was a great trip, highly recommend and definitely worth the money! Roberto was an amazing host and made it fun for everyone!

Wonderful day trip! Our local guide, Roberto, was energetic, funny, and informative. The driver, Pasquale, was excellent as well and made us feel comfortable on the narrow windy roads.

I was a bit skeptical of doing the Almafi coast in a day, but it turned out to be the perfect amount of time for a visit during the fall season. We heard about the history on the way to each place and had enough time in each location to explore on our own.

In addition, I am grateful to the company for being flexible with me when I had a last minute change to my tour departure city.

I hate to be negative about any review but I must on this one, with a few positives. The coach tour with 8 people to Positano, Amalfi and Rafello is described as having an informative guide who will tell you things about the area and many of the reviews said there guide was excellent; Tony was not! His English was hard to understand and he barely told us anything. He spoke to the people in the front seat and then they had to yell it to the folks in the middle section and I then yelled it to the folks in the back row. This made the tour not as pleasant as it could have been.

The day ended up being 9.5 hours so that is something to be aware of. Traffic was bad and this is unavoidable.

If we had it to do over, we would have just focused on one of these towns.

The positive: Tony was a good driver and the meal was very pleasant at a lovely place with a beautiful view. Also, we got lost in Positano, I called the office on WhatsApp and Tony was able to find us in the mini van.

The Tour itinerary worked very well for me - the optional boat ride for 12euro is worth it.
It was a long day as you would expect seeing Three towns on the Amalfi coast in one day.
I did thoroughly enjoy my time on the tour, plenty of free time to explore on your own.
The only thing I think could Improve is interaction as a group, it was extremely singular there was no effort to unite the group. That’s not an expectation on my part as such it’s just a preference for me as a solo traveller, the groups of people on the tour had a blast.

We had a great guide, Raphael who went over and above on the day. The road between Positano and Amalfi was closed due to a fire and he took us the long way round to ensure the trip wasn't cancelled! He was friendly, helpful and made the trip a great day out! All 3 areas are beautiful and well worth a visit. Having a driver made it so easy and relaxed and I would definitely recommend this trip. Thank you for some lovely memories!

Great tour guide was excellent very informative throughout. We couldn’t drive to Amalfi from Positano due to arsonists so they took us on the boat free of charge. The driver did a really good job navigating, only downside was how hot it was in the car didn’t seem to be any air conditioning made it quite difficult especially with masks on. Good amount of time at each place and a few stops for photos.

Our recent adventures with Iamme Ia! in Sorrento, Italy, left us with unforgettable memories. We embarked on two incredible tours with them, exploring the stunning Amalfi Coast (Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello) and the historic ruins of Pompeii. While our experiences during the tours were exceptional, there were a few minor hiccups with the booking process.

Let's start with the highlights of our journey. The knowledgeable guides provided by Iamme Ia! truly enhanced our explorations. Their in-depth insights into the history, culture, and hidden gems of each destination made our tours not only informative but also deeply engaging. Whether wandering through the enchanting streets of Positano or marveling at the ancient wonders of Pompeii, their expertise was invaluable.

We must also commend the skilled driver who safely guided us along the breathtaking coastal road from Sorrento to Positano. The dramatic views along this route are a highlight of any visit to the Amalfi Coast, and our driver's expertise and professionalism made the journey all the more enjoyable.

Now, on to the minor issues we encountered. While we would have preferred a seamless online booking experience through their website, we were contacted by email and subsequently sent a payment link. Although this process ultimately worked fine, it did introduce a slight inconvenience, and we had some reservations initially. Nonetheless, Iamme Ia! ensured that the rest of our experience was impeccable.

In conclusion, Iamme Ia! Travel Agency offers fantastic tours that showcase the beauty and history of the Sorrento region. The well-versed guides, skilled drivers, and overall tour experiences were exceptional and exceeded our expectations. While the booking process could be improved for a smoother experience, it was a minor hiccup in an otherwise outstanding adventure. We highly recommend Iamme Ia! for your Sorrento explorations, and we look forward to more journeys with them in the future. Grazie mille, Iamme Ia!

Very good experience. Guide was amazingly informative and friendly. The driver of the air conditioned coach was also very good, stopping at photo advantage points en route. The included ferry boat to Amalfi gave us a breath of sea air and the extra boat tour of the Amalfi coast was worth the additional small cost.
Personally my wife and I did struggle slightly with keeping up with the group but managed the steps and inclines, eventually, our guide was very accommodating and waited for us to catchup. Thank you.
