- Karen M00BEST DAY EVER!This was a wonderful tour, made perfect by our guide, Giorgio. His love for his home, Capri, was infectious. He went out of his way to give us the best experience. He met us in Sorrento and guided us down to the ferries. We were met on Capri by a driver with an open air convertible who whisked us along the Mama Mia road to Anacapri. We rode the chairlift to the top of the mountain and Giorgio gave us I formation and anecdotes. The blue grotto was closed because of rough seas, so he took us on a boat ride around the island -- much better experience in my mind. We did much more before we finally took the boat home.
- 260kristym00Wonderful private tourI wish I could remember our guide’s name! She was lovely!! She met us right in front of our cruise ship and helped us with the transfer. Thank goodness because it’s not easy to do on your own at Cannes. Anyway, we then had a small boat tour and went to Capri. She helped with the funicular tickets and recommended the most fabulous place for lunch. We love Capri (who wouldn’t?) and she took us to the best views and little nooks. I can’t recommend this enough. It was just the 4 of us, so very private and fun. Worth the money.
- seanpV9895SS00Mind blowing views! Our guide and boat captain were fantastic! Bring a change of clothes so you can swim and then change into dry clothes to once back on land to explore the island in comfort.
- mcmsf1200Wonderful Capri TourTake the private tour--it's worth it. We had our own open air vehicle and driver and guide which allowed us freedom to spend our time as we preferred, plus was fun. Guide Cristina was outstanding in comminicating, informing us of history, insuring we were being handled safely at Blue Grotto, and esp hearing what our preferences were. Ask for Cristina.
- Hatice Ö00Great day in CapriWe booked our trip in the last minute, but everything went smooth. Marco was amazing and very informative. We enjoyed every bit of the trip.
- DeniceDonners00Capri and blue grotto tourThis day trip was an absolute highlight of our time in Sorrento. Very organised, amazing day! The blue grotto was exhilarating and we had such a good guide that we got there by land (secret skip the cue) then off to Annacapri which was breathtaking. No time was wasted the day went very fast and we saw everything. A absolute must to do!!!
- Eddie M00Great guide & private Capri boat tourThe tour was worth every dollar we paid. Anna the tour guide was extremely good at adapting the tour to our needs and making it enjoyable and physically stress free. The young boat captain was very skilled at getting us deep into the caves. When the wind and sea got rough, Anna got us a taxi to go from one side of the island to the other to not waste our time when we couldn’t sail all the way around the island. Terrific tour.
- ananth n00Our day trip to Capri & Blue GorettoDuring our recent visit to naples, we had booked for the above tour. Our Tour guide Mr. Giorgio was waiting for us at the designated place near the port. We were taken to Capri, Ana capri & Blue Goretto. it was an amazing tour and the tour guide was very informative and explained everything nicely. He helped the people with shopping tips, good restaurant etc., Blue Goreeto was unbelivably great. My family throughly enjoyed the trip. Once more special thx to Giorgio.
- KarensItalyTrip00Private day Tour of CapriWe took a day tour to Capri with Raphael Tours and it was the best tour of our whole trip to Italy. Our guide was amazing, she spoke English and Italian to help us. She went above and beyond to make our visit to the island a memorable one ❤️ Would use them on future tours for sure.
- Helena D00Amazing Day on CapriThis wasn't a particularly 'cheap' trip so I was a bit apprehensive to see if we would get value for money. We booked this as part of our wedding holiday/honeymoon and wanted a special day out. It didn't disappoint. Luigi was our guide for the day and was faultless. This should have been a group tour of Capri but we were the only ones booked on it for the day. So this ended up being a private and personal tour of the island. We got to do everything on the agenda with plenty of time to do our own thing whilst Luigi purchased tickets and waited in queues on our behalf. The blue grotto was open that day and we were glad we went to see it. Stunning! But we also go to do the island tour too! And had we wanted, we could have had more time on the island at the end of the day as Luigi offered to change our ferry tickets for us for a later ferry. A great day, packed with all the sights and experiences we wanted to do with no rush and no queuing either. Thank you Luigi for a great day!
- Jackie B00Mother and DaughtetExcellent guide in George. We were only passengers so private tour. Nothing was too much trouble. As George is from Capri he had lots of information and stories. Great day. Thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t thank George enough. Great guide. Yes you have my permission to put photo on Facebook
- karenmC482YJ00One word-FANTASTIC!!This was the best part of our trip to Italy. Our guide was the best!! Highly recommend making Capri one of your stops if you're in Italy. And don't miss the blue grotto. It was amazing.
- Trip40374600Capri and Ana CaprisThis was an amazing tour. Our tour guide Fabrizio was outstanding and very knowledgable of the island. He was promptly waiting for us at the port and quickly got us on our way! We toured the island in a convertible car and had the best sites. Rode the chairlift to the top of Ana Capris and saw breathtaking views up top. A must see! The blue grotto was closed so we toured the island in a boat and got to see a lot of the Caves along the way. Definitely worth the money and the guide was very accommodating and pleasant to be with. We had a blast!
- 71petrat00Thanks MichaeleThis tour turned out to be A-mazing thanks to Michaele. His knowledge of how to maximise our time to give us the best experience of Capri and Anacapri. And of course how to say them correctly 😆 we can't begin to explain how lucky we were to get to experience the Blue Grotto and the local thoroughfare. Thx for the memories!
- 0ShariR00Raphael Tours Capri Day TripLuigi was a fantastic guide for our day trip to Capri. He thoroughly planned the day to maximize our experience and minimize the wait times. Everything (all tickets) except lunch was included. We got off the ferry first and headed straight to the Blue Grotto where we waited only 10 minutes to enter. We also beat the lines to the chair lift. Luigi gave lots of information about the island and answered any questions. He was charming and called us family! We had free time at three different places and he chose a great lunch spot. A highlight, aside from the beautiful views, was getting custom-made sandals at the shop that made them for Jacqueline Kennedy. I highly recommend this tour!

Booked our tour after arriving in Capri at the harbor, mid-day departure. Cost was 19 euros each. Boat held 100+ people, seating on top filled quickly, bow was also good. We were unable to see the Blue Grotto because the wait with other boats was over an hour, but that’s ok. Guide was funny and informative and spoke in both Italian and English. Good value.

We couldn’t have asked for better guide than Michele. He was organized from the very first moment, always kept the things in his hand and shared every information with us detailed and clear. He told all the important things and stories to know about the magnificient Capri island and a little more, not to mention his funny comments and humor. Even though we couldn’t make it to the Blue Grotto because of the tide and the wind, he took us to a 1 hour long trip as a plan B to see Green Grotto, White Grotto and the famous Faraglioni. Thank you for this amazing trip!

An amazing day trip to Capri with a very good guide! After arriving on Capri we first headed to Blue Grotto. It was amazing! Then we drove to the town of Anacapri and had a lot of free time. Our guide recommended a chair lift ride up to the island's highest point and the view was definitely worth it! We also had plenty of time to eat in one of the town's lovely restaurants.
Then we continued to the town of Capri and had some free time there too. Our group was also offered a possibility to go on a boat tour around the island (20 €), which took one hour. It was also worth it, a great scenic experience! I have nothing but good things to say about our day. Recommend!!

This was very expensive for what we actually received for our group of 4($687). There was very little guiding. It was like having someone show you which bus to get on and tell you what town you were in mostly. I expected more information along the way which is why we hire guides Plus the size of the group was much larger than advertised. We did not do all the things on the itinerary like the Villa. I don’t remember her ever mentioning the Villa. The silver lining was she got us to the blue grotto fast which helped us get though it quickly and on to other things. We did the lift in Anacapri and toured around the island on a boat at the end. We paid for both of those ourselves on her recommendation. I expect she is a good guide but the tour company may have not communicated expectations for her. I would hire a private guide if possible for the amount you pay for this and have a better experience on the island.

An absolutely amazing day trip spent in Capri with the Blue Grotto included, not to be missed, we were fortunate that it was open the day we went. Our tour guide Brunetta (hope I’ve spelt your name correct) was just amazing, so informative with great suggestions and even reserved a table in a restaurant for lunch for us. The chair lift up to the highest point in Capri, in Ana Capri is a must, the views all around are spectacular. Overall an amazing well organised trip. Would highly recommend.

Outstanding tour! Our guide was exceptionally accommodating. He made sure we had ferry return options and went through all the trouble to help each family. We truly appreciated his ability to miss the crowds with quick planning due to much experience. We were able to see Capri, Anacapri with chair lift, shopping, lunch and the boat ride.
The Blue Grotto is hit or miss due to waves, tides, weather. Book it, you won’t regret.

We went in early April, when the weather was not great. Due to unfavourable sea conditions our trip was cancelled. We rescheduled for the next day. That day the tour to Capri went ahead, but we couldn't go into the blue grotto as it is a very small entrance and because of the choppy water we couldn't enter. This was very disappointing. On the island, we trekked up to Cassa Lyssa. It took at least 45 to 50 min to get to it as signage was poor. This ate up a lot of the time on the island which meant we didn't get to spend time in the centre sipping a drink and chilling u fortunately. Food and drink on Capri is extremely expensive. I paid €7 for a can of coke!! It's a nice island, more so when the sun is shining though. The boat trip out took about 50 mins.

I can’t say enough about this tour.
We’ve been touring for a week straight, throughout Italy, this was the best experience, by far, for several reasons.
First, it’s a great itinerary, period.
You take a boat to Capri, a bus (advertised as Air-Conditioned, but not really) to the Blue Grotto, which is beautiful (even though our captain was new and had no idea how to operate that little boat and was afraid of each wave), then you go to AnaCapri and take a chairlift to the top of the island with the most spectacular views, then when you come back down you stop for lunch at a really nice place with great food, you go to the city center for shopping (or just window shopping because they got all the expensive brands), if you see a line and feel the smell of something delicious, just get in line. You’ll be treated to a fresh made sugar cone with your ice cream.
Then you get back down to the port and have just enough time to get a dip in the sea, to freshen up.
And then there was Alberto. Our tour guide.
He was just so great in every aspect.
For one, he speaks a great English, unlike 10 or so other guides we had who were struggling to find the right words.
He’s friendly, funny, he sings, and is so helpful.
He didn’t rush through the trip, unlike other guides we had who just wanted to see the end of it and kept rushing us.
He truly made the trip a great experience.
Thank you Alberto.

Far too expensive for visiting Capri. Capri is too crowded and does not offer that much, it is a 'tourist factory'. This day trip means you go to Capri using the normal ferry and a minivan brings you to the blue grot. However you need to pay fo all other activities like a cable carrier to the top or boat trip near the coast. The guide is not too blame, he is doing his best but overall is the day trip too expensive for what you get. Not recommended

Great day trip with Marcella! She was so warm and personable and really knew the area. We were lucky enough to be able to get in to see the Blue Grotto early by 9:30. She arranged all the logistics so efficiently that we had time not only to spend time in Anacapri and Capri but she was able to arrange an additional boat trip along the coast to see the Faraglioni rocks. I couldn’t imagine having a better experience.

Probably not. I believe the tour departs from a Naples port at 8 a.m. , but you should check for yourself the departure time and how long it lasts.

Will we have a chance to do the chairlift and the blue grotto? Thinking of going Friday 4/24 or 4/25. The other day we would like to do private tour of Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. Is one day better than the other? Interested in Pompeii but thinking it is too much because our other days are travel from Florence on Thursday and leaving on Sunday. Thank you for your help!
