About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Rangernessa0 contributionsAwesome way to Explore NaplesI had a fabulous time and Alberto was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable about his city and when things didn’t go quite to plan with road barricades he improvised and delivered a wonderful experience. I was able to experience the city in an entirely different way as he expertly drove through the traffic. Definitely been a highlight of my trip. I really enjoyed his restaurant recommendation at the end too. :)Written September 29, 2024
- Fazer4620150 contributionsBest way to see NepaliAmazing start to our trip to Nepali, learnt and saw so much in 4 hours. Peppe was extremely knowledgeable and full of energy. Felt completely safe even in the Napoli traffic! (We did have helmets provided to.)Written September 22, 2024
- hollysW6314PR0 contributionsBrilliant!! Best trip ever!!We had a wonderful tour with our fabulous guide Sara and driver Antonio. They were both so friendly and helpful. The tour was organised through our cruise ship and we decided to treat ourselves as it was our honeymoon. The tour was perfect. It was lovely to have a private tour just for the two of us and it could be tailored to what we wanted to see. Sara showed us the highlights of Naples and helped to translate for us when we wanted to make some purchases. Antonio took some beautiful photos, which were sent to us following the tour. If I come back to Naples, I would definitely do the tour again! The Fiat 600 was so cute. We felt truly special as we whizzed around Naples in the little car, we felt like royalty! Such a special memory. If you have the opportunity, I would highly recommend this tour. Thank you Sara and Antonio!!Written May 27, 2024
- 222sallyl0 contributionsFantastic experience you can't miss!!!From.start to finish this companies customer service was amazing, quick replies to emails with questions, to the booking process. On the day before tour it was communicated to me who my guide would be and contact details provided. On the day of tour my guide Alberto and a driver Luigi greeted me, they were friendly and welcoming. Albertos english was amazing and his local and archeological/historical knowledge were fantastic and very interesting. We had a great day, driving around some beautiful places of intrest. Luigi s driving was careful and experienced. Thanks guys for an amazing tour I will definitely book you again when I'm back in Naples.Written May 20, 2024

- Athens850 contributionsSimply amazing, great tour!First of all a big thanks to Raffaella of the main office in organizing the half day tour with a Fiat 600. Raffaella was very helpful in preparing an half day through Posillipo/Chiaia and Marechiaro. As the car could enter the downtown very was located our hotel the very super friendly guide Sara come to pick us at the hotel. Then on foot we reached the car where we found our driver Antonio. Both Antonio and Sara were very friendly during the tour explaining everything about the city, etc. Also, very helpful in giving us tips like a true “napoletano”…. Great tour in a very special old and vintage car. At the end of the our you even get a small bottle of Olive oil and do not forget the magical “pit Stop” with espresso and Sfogliatella! Strongly recommend this company very professional and friendly people: a big thanks once again to Sara, Antonio and Raffaella!Written February 29, 2024
- Miguel Angel A0 contributionsGreat tour. The guide change of Vespa tour to a Fiat500 tour because of the bad weather (rain). The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We got to see a good chunk of the city and its cool spots. Recommended.Written October 24, 2023
- MelanieW50 contributionsThe perfect way to see the best of NaplesWe had booked the shorter Young Tour as were only visiting for the weekend. It was fantastic from start to end. Met at our B&B by our guide and the team of drivers, we felt very welcomed as we got sorted with helmets. The tour was pitched perfectly by our guide who was friendly and warm. It was the ideal way to see the key sights of Naples: the churches, Nativity St, castles, theatre and palace. A stop at Gambinus for an espresso and the must-tried sfogliatelle (delicious), followed by a drive out to see the views of Posillipo. Considering the chaos of the traffic we were amazed to feel so at ease on the Vespas. The drivers were friendly and the whole morning couldn't have been better. Thank you all. We would love to book a different tour if we visit again. Cannot recommend highly enough!Written September 17, 2023
- Alison Q0 contributionsTruly amazingWhat an amazing experience . Carolina our guide and Giovanni our driver were both very professional and made us feel very safe . The Vespas were awesome and driving into Positano and Amalfi ( bypassing all the tour buses and traffic ) took my breath away . We pulled in at great viewing points where Carolina took some fab photos of us . We got lots of information and good tips from Carolina , the coffee and cake was delicious. Would highly recommend this tour.Written May 9, 2023
- KayMalaga0 contributionsAmazing!!I did the Vespa Tour to the 'super volcano' area Campi Flegrei. My amazing guide, Vincenzo, picked me up at my hotel in the historical centre and off we went. It was the best day EVER! Vincenzo is a super nice guy, very friendly, knowledgeable and above all, a great Vespa driver! It was great way to get out of Naples for a day and off the tourist track. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The tour went overtime which didn't seem to matter. Vincenzo dropped me off where I wanted to go when the tour was finished after giving me a hair-raising ride through the back streets of Naples- great fun! Highly recommended!!Written December 11, 2022
- hantsman710 contributionsBellissimoIf you're in Naples and want the best tour of your life, book this. Our guides were wonderful, constantly pointing out areas of interest, giving us insights into the past, present and future of Naples. The quality of experience was incredible. They bought us coffee and pastry overlooking the ocean, we had the best 4 hours ever on their Vespas and lots of laughs !Written October 7, 2022
- Adam R0 contributionsGreat Food Tour!I was initially concerned about riding around Naples on a Vespa. I was completely wrong, it was terrific way to experience Naples. The drivers were experienced and their top priority was making sure we were safe. The guide was excellent too. The private experiences they set up your wonderful. Our favorite was making the pizza and eating it! It was the best pizza I’ve ever had!Written September 10, 2022
- G2152QThelens0 contributionsVespa Food Tour NaplesMixed feelings about this tour. My guide was quite a large man which meant I couldn't hold onto the hand grip which was under his rear! This resulted in me wrapping my arms around him and clinging on for dear life. I couldn't see anything! Combine that with the fumes smell, the heart stopping traffic, the 'vintage' Vespa which kept stalling, and I couldn't wait to get off. Aside from all that, the tour felt disorganised and unprofessional, a bit like the guides were winging it. The coffee stop was great, but no taralli appeared. The cuoppa di frittura stop was completely not expecting us and we had to wait for the fryers to heat up. The pizza stop was great, we made our own pizza, but again, they didn't seem to be expecting us. We were not offered the promised glass of Campania red, and ended up buying our own wine. The ice cream stop was great but just a shop on the high street that we already passed ten times. No handmade chocolates appeared, we didn't even get to the chocolate factory, and the guide forgot our local souvenir. All in all, uncomfortable, expensive, ill prepared and elements missing.Written July 31, 2022
- maxineb6440 contributionsAn amazing way to spend an afternoonMy daughter and I had a fabulous time touring the city with Enzo and Luigi. A very hot day so the breeze on that back of the Vespas was very welcome. The food was amazing and we went home stuffed!! Making our own pizza was great. We would highly recommend and worth every penny. Maxine & EmilyWritten July 17, 2022
- Travelerjs0 contributionsFantastic way to see Naples! We loved our Naples tour!! Vincenzo, or Enzo, was wonderful!!! He picked us up and my husband, our 8 year old and I folded into the Fiat. They are small! with the top rolled down, off we went! The Fiat is a great way to see Naples! We zipped around and saw the sights. He took us up to look out over the city with a great view of Mt Vesuvius. We also saw the super volcano in the area that makes the Bay of Naples so special. All the while we saw different neighborhoods of Naples. We parked and saw the Royal Naples, where the opera, and biggest square of Naples is. We stopped for a quick refreshment. It was a huge heat wave so we got a pastry in the coffee shop so we could see it, but none of us were interested in coffee. Instead, he introduced us to a fun lemon drink that you have to drink quickly as it has baking soda in it and it "explodes" as you drink it. It was hilarious and a fun experience for all of us! Then we were off to an older neighborhood where we saw some older churches. Vincenzo was a super guide! He really gave us so much historical background so we could understand what we were looking at. But he also made it accessible for our son that he felt a part of the tour the whole time. I would definitely recommend the tour! If vespas might not work for your group, this is a fantastic option. The car just looks happy! We got to teach our son what the "rolling down the window" motion meant and why. But it is also a very cozy car!!Written July 15, 2022

The tour was incredible! We had an amazing time with our drivers Vincenzo and Giuseppe and really got to see so much; riding the Vespa is truly the best way to see the coast. The company overall was very accommodating and very easy to communicate with. I only have positive things to say about this experience and highly recommend it. If you are debating whether to book or not, absolutely do because you will not regret it!

WOW! This was the experience of a lifetime and I can’t recommend it enough. You will see unbeatable views of the coast that you won’t be able to find on your own, and you’ll learn about the towns and people and sights while doing so. We actually had already stopped in Amalfi and Positano on our own prior to the tour, and we still felt like this trip was more than worth our while to see more of these places - do not overlook this one!! They picked us up at our stay in Sorrento and dropped us off at the end of the day; it was a perfect agenda of beautiful sights with no planning needed our Our guides were Alberto and Emilio and they were absolutely wonderful; skilled drivers, top notch tour guides, and very friendly and nice to spend a day with. For me, it was a bit of a scary experience on the vespas, though my partner was only nervous at the start, however our guides did a great job reassuring us and keeping us safe during the drives. Overall, I really recommend booking this adventure to make your trip the best it can be! Such a great tour - enjoy it.

This tour was the highlight of our trip. My fiancé and I spent a whole day with Carolina on a private Amalfi coast Vespa tour. He drove his own vehicle while I rode with Carolina. She tailored the day for us based on our interests, showed us so many fun areas, provided a lot of advice and tips, and was such a blast to be with. She even took us on a little hike, which wasn’t part of the tour but fit in our personal interests! And found us an amazing lunch spot in Maiori. Throughout the day it honestly felt like 3 friends hanging out. It’s been such a rainy trip and we got lucky with good weather - were so glad we spent our 1 day in good weather with Carolina!!

The staff was a pleasure to deal with! Our hotel is in Positano, not Sorrento so after emailing the company, they made up a personal customized tour for us of Amalfi Coast. The tour is a little expensive but it is worth it, don’t skip out! The staff is very passionate about their job and country and it was a spectacular experience. The staff makes you feel very comfortable and gives you lots of information on tour with every transition being seamless. The food and gelato place we stopped at was delicious. Nothing beats the door to door service they provide! DON’T SKIP THIS TOUR!

It was so much fun doing this Fiat tour with Pasquale and Antonio. Hercolaneum was great with Michele. Despite the closure of the crater on Vesuvius due to the weather conditions, NapolinVespa Tours was super spontaneous and quickly organized a tasting of Neapolitan specialties for us. Thank you Ambra! The tour wasn't cheap - but it was worth every cent. If you're looking for an unusual activity, you've found it here.

If there is only one thing you do during your Amalfi visit, this should be it! The Vespa tour is personalized and exciting. Amazing photo spots along the way and one-of-kind opportunity to make memories. The guides are friendly, flexible and knowledgeable. Cannot recommend it more.

We were on a stopover in Naples and we asked the conceirge at the Vesuvio for a tour out of the main usual bus tours and we were directed to Napoli in Vespe. In the beginning we were a little skeptical since not very comfortable to ride in a Vespa since we are a little on the heavy side, but what a surprise! The tour was very exciting and also supported by a van when we were getting tired of the Vespa riding. The english speaking guide was very friendly and provided a lot of stops for shooting opportunities and also to enjoy the local fare. We stopped in Posillipo and on many other place and we received a very interesting description on the history of the city. No need to say that the pizza at Michele's pizzeria was absolutely out of this word. We left Napoli with our heart full of memories and very sorry to leave Stefano. Hope that some day we can repeat our experience and visit the coast.

I had very limited time to spend on Naples. Hence, I wanted a tour that could help me experience the best spots of the city. I also wanted to get around the city in the same traditional way of many local, on a Vespa motorino. My husband and I enjoyed the ride on the back of a Vespa. The tour guide and extra driver team was very well-versed on local landmarks and touristic venues. They were quite accommodating to our preferences, and helped us spend the time in the locations that interested us the most. They picked us up from our hotel and we went to the Spaccanapoli street. There we visited a couple of churches and continued walking through the area. Then, we hopped back on the Vespas to go to the Piazza del Plebiscito. We had a delicious coffee on front of the plaza. Afterwards, rode the scooters again, now up the hills of the city to viewpoints with breathtaking scenery. We ended the tour near a famous pizzeria at our request, just in time for dinner. I am very happy with this excursion. Also, the sales team is great, they promptly replied to all my emails and asks. Cannot recommend it enough. It was a fantastic experience!

My girlfriend and I went to Napoli for the pizza but, sadly, did not do enough research beforehand as to the history, monuments, and culture of Napoli. Thankfully, we found out about NapolinVespa online and booked a tour for our first day. We can definitely say that thanks to Ambra and our amazing guide, Michele, we will never forget our time in Naples and want to return to do more tours with them. We actually booked two other tours on other days--one to Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius, and another to the Amalfi Coast, but Michele was by far our best guide. He was as funny and affable as he was knowledgable, and his driving skills in the Fiat 600 were just what we needed to get around safely and quickly while learning about the incredibly rich and nuanced Neapolitan culture. The tour wasn't just driving around; we stopped at several key parts of town, such as the Spacca Napoli, the Castel dell'Ovo, Piazza del Plebiscito, and even up to the Parco Virgiliano for the last stop with the most impressive views of the Bay of Naples as well as the Phlegraean Fields while Michele explained the mythological and historical significance of everything we saw. Michele was also willing to discuss regional and national politics and some of the problems with Naples at present, so we got a nuanced, multi-faceted understanding of the place. To our delight, Ambra and Michele took us to the San Severo Chapel as a surprise and this is something we will never forget. The only downside to the tour was that it was too short and we were sad to say goodbye to our incredible hosts on our first day of Naples. We wish we had done more tours with them and hope to return because, thanks to them, we realized how much more there is to see in Naples, how proud Neapolitans are of their town, and what a unique and not-to-be-missed part of Italy it is. We wish the best of luck to Ambra, Michele, and the NapolinVespa Tours in the future and hope to hire them again next time, they are by far the best guides. Grazie mille!

We arrived in Naples from Rome by train in 1 hour for a one-day trip.
The vespa tour was the highlight of our visit.
Our tour guide could not have been better. He was professional, friendly, and lots of fun. With him we visited much of the city and perhaps, most importantly, he put safety at the foremost priority. Don't leave Naples without trying it!! This was the best day of our 7 day trip in Italy. Don't think I need to say anything else...
