Whatever you do, find a way to book this excursion! This is 1000% better than taking public boats or taxi to the amalfi coast. You get to see the amalfi coast from the sea view and it’s stunning. And if you get a skipper you can sit back and relax and enjoy the views. Ricardo was a phenomenal boat driver and took us to some very special spots!! You can get off and walk the cities you want and it’s very affordable when you think about what you get. There was 4 of us so it was great! We were on the cayman. The boat seats and front deck were SO COMFORTABLE. Wow! Book this if you want to experience amalfi different than bumping shoulder to shoulder with people all day..

We rented three cayman585 for a day with skippers for a group of 19 people in September 2024. It was an unforgettable experience. Our skippers, Antonio, Alexi and Ricardo were fantastic. They showed us places we would have never seen. They stopped for lunch at a remote restaurant only reachable from the water. We also went swimming in a grotto that we would have never found. It was a wonderful day. Highly recommend this experience!

Our boat tour was one of the top highlights of our 3 week trip to Italy. Lorenzo was extremely helpful. He went above and beyond from the moment we booked, weeks prior to traveling to Italy. He arranged a private van to pick us up and drop us back off. The tour up the Amalfi Coast was breathtaking. We stopped in a cove and got to swim. Our captain and host were on top of our every need and wish. They slowed the boat and let us really enjoy the beauty of the coastline. We stopped in Positano for a few hours and got to enjoy shopping and lunch. They supplied water, beer, aperol spritz, champagne, snacks, and caprese sandwiches along the way. We have driven the Amalfi Coast in the past. I have to say that Blue Dream Boat Tours is the best way to go. I can't begin to express how amazing Lorenzo and all his staff are.

AMAZING!!! I cannot express in words how beyond amazing Giovanni, Lorenzo and Victoria were! We had the best day! They truly catered to my family and had the best swimming stops. We did 3 stops to swim and then had time in Amalfi and Positano. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back and do it again. Best day!!! Thank you!!!

We were two families from Norway with kids from 15 and upwards. The absolute best way to see the coast without sitting in long car queues. Vittoria and the skipper did everything perfect to make us have the absolute best moment on our summer holiday in Italy. Recomend to take contact with Blue Dream directly. Lorenzo & the team are very professional and also quite flexible to adapt to your needs and wishes.

We had a fabulous time with Roberto from Blue Dream Rental Boats. I had found Blue Dream on TripAdvisor and reached out a few weeks before coming to Italy. Lorenzo was quick to respond and very helpful. We came in on a cruise ship and only had to walk about 5 minutes to where they are located. They were ready for us, and we left promptly. We got to see all the towns big and small along the Amalfi coast from the water, and we stopped at three places for pastries, lunch and coffee. We also saw waterfalls, caves, hidden beaches, and even dolphins. Roberto was much more than just a boat driver. He was a fantastic guide full of really interesting information on the area. Highly recommend!!

This is a must do if you are staying anywhere in the Amalfi coast! We got a private boat ride from Matteo, he was very knowledge and friendly. He took us places you can only see by boat, which was amazing, he also took us to places that were safe to swim! I would definitely recommend this if you are looking to see all the cities on the coast , we even go to stop in Positano and do some site seeing and shopping!

So much fun. Great tour. Highly recommend. The staff was very helpful. Took us to great spots. The weather wasn’t perfect but they did their best. Even stopped and got us ice cream.

Amazing experience from start to finish. We were lucky enough to have Ricardo as our skipper who spoke fluent English and was very knowledgeable. He was a genuinely nice person and made us laugh throughout, and also went above and beyond to make our experience even more special. Prior to the rental I had privately liaised with Lorenzo too who was very responsible and helpful throughout. We hired a boat and skipper to explore Amalfi and Positano during our week long holiday in Salerno. I first contacted Lorenzo to ask about a sunset boat trip but he advised us to go for the day trip and I’m so glad he did! Our skipper, Ricardo, was so friendly and knowledgeable and made it very easy for us to relax. He showed us lots of beautiful places along the coast and told us lots of facts about each place. He also brought the boat into little coves which you wouldn’t see on the fast ferries. We stopped in Amalfi and Positano and had lots of time to explore and just had to text Ricardo to be picked up once we were ready to leave and he was there within a few minutes. The boat is very comfortable and had lots of fridge space for our snacks and Prosecco. We would highly recommend this trip if you’re wanting to explore the Amalfi coast.

We had the pleasure of renting a boat with a skipper from Blue Dream yesterday, and the kids said it was the best day of their lives :-) Matteo was great and knew exactly where to stop for 3 great swims. We got off for a walk through Amalfi and a lovely restaurant only accessible by boat. Everything was perfect and I would highly recommend this activity for anyone visiting Salerno and wanting to see the Amalfi Coast in a relaxed and peaceful and very fun way. The boat was perfect for 3 adults and 2 primary school-aged kids. If we come back, we will definitely be doing this again with Blue Dream!

We had the perfect day at Blue dream, you can rent your own or hire with a skipper (this is what we did) It is cheaper to rent your own but for one day then it is better to have a driver who knows the coast. He knows where to go, what is quiet/busy and also a nice restaurant. You will probably spend more time trying to park or travel without one. You cannot park in Amalfi or Positano without a driver as it is drop off / pick up only. This was a huge advantage as we just text him to pick us up. Our skipper was Antonio, he was polite, accommodating and knowledgeable of the coast as well as having a good sense of humour. This is clearly the best way to see the amalfi coast in one day like we had available. The boat is brand new, they have towels, glasses (cups), bottle openers and a fridge and shower for fresh water. Communication was easy with Lorenzo and roughly a 1/3rd deposit made by credit card when booking. It was a perfect day.

The best way to experience the Amalfi coast! We had the most amazing day on the Amalfi coast with renting a boat from Blue Dream with skipper. We had Ricardo as our skipper and he was great- felt safe during the boat ride, he showed us a bunch of local gems along the coast, from famous hotels to caves and restaurants. We stopped in Amalfi and we walked around for 1 hours and Ricardo came and picked us up when we were ready. Can’t tell you how good of an idea it was to rent a boat when we saw the long line ups for the ferry and bus in Amalfi. The price was more than reasonable. We were 4 people and paid 300 euros plus 100 euros for the gas. Would recommend this boat renting company and Ricardo to anyone planning to visit the Amalfi coast!

We had THE BEST day with Ricardo!! We are traveling with a 2 year old and 5 year old. Ricardo immediately made our kids feel comfortable! We went all along the coast, got to stop in Amalfi for gelato and then another town for a yummy lunch. We were here via a cruise ship. My kids said “this is the best day ever!” Give it a 20/10!!!
