About the operator
- LINDA_Mcl015900Great ExperienceWe worked with Chiara on our recent trip to the Amalfi Coast! She arranged for our transportation from Rome (FCO) to our Villa in Praiano and back. She also planned a full day trip to a village where my Husband’s ancestors were from, including a winery and lunch. It was a pleasure working with them and I would definitely recommend!
- Martina J00PityTrip wasn’t managed. We didn’t meet anybody from operator in port even though at the ferry. Guide Pepe wasn’t worthy many. We didn’t get any information about capri.
- 488zacp00Great Experience on tourWe had a great day in Capri. Our guide was fantastic, giving us lots of tips for our time on the island. He left us to our own devices at times which was nice, allowing us to explore on our own. The view from the boat was spectacular as we pulled into Amalfi, Positano and Capri, we were lucky that our trip started from Maiori, one of the first shops. The only problem we had was at the start of the day when we couldn’t find where the tour started or our guide. This might have been our fault though!
- christopherbU6672AD00Pompeii tour from Maiori.Decent tour. Bus was clean and on time. Time in Pompeii is limited and the guide was not very engaging or insightful with content about the city. Definitely could use more time to explore.
- Amex123400Amazing Trip.Excellent guide Alessandra knowledge first class on Pompeii and Italian life shown the best exhibits.
- MArcuri8100Excellent day trip with an excellent guide!Fantastic trip. As a family of four we did the Pompeii and Vesuvius trip from Maiori and really enjoyed it. Alessandra was an excellent guide - very friendly and engaging and extremely knowledgeable about both sites and the region. Pompeii is an extraordinary place and the views from Mt.Vesuvius were impressive. Hats off also to our bus driver Carmine, who was a master at handling the narrow roads on the Amalfi Coast and up Vesuvius. I’ll definitely be recommending this tour to friends.
- 866lesleyannek00Wonderful tour with an exceptional guide. We booked with Sunland and were so glad that we did. Our tour guide Alessandro was exceptional, providing us with information from the very start of our journey to Pompeii. Everything about the trip was magical starting with the friendly market stall holders outside to the detailed tour by Alessandro. We were taken to the most fascinating parts of Pompeii and the museum at the end of the tour. I would highly recommend Sunland and Alessandro for making this an unforgettable experience.
- SameraMCG00Amazing worth the visitAllesandra was amazing tour guide so friendly and helpful we had an amazing trip and great value for money.
- B764JNsarahb00Excellent way to experience both sitesThis tour was a good way to visit Pompeii and Herculaneum. Lucia was a fantastic guide, very knowledgable and informative. It is quite a lot to visit both sites in one day - we both felt quite tired at the end of the day. However, the journey back was restful and took us via the scenic route along the Amalfi coast.
- Vudooo00Wonderful timeAnother great tour we’ve been on. We started the morning by meeting the tour guide Corrado at the Maiori port . You have to look for him with the ID tag he’s wearing and very nice guy to start out the day. We boarded and stopped by amalfi to pick up more customers . This is a huge group comprise of people from different countries so Corrado have to speak Italian and English to translate for the 2 different groups. We get to sail by amalfi , positano , and then capri . We get to swim and see the grotto . After that they bus us up to anacapri for photos , lunch on your own and shopping . Then bus back down to capri for more sightseeing then jump on board to go back home . You can chose to get off certain ports if you choose to see more of amalfi. Our tour guide Corrado was great and it was a wonderful excursions. It’s a big group so expect that if you don’t mind .
- liannejok00an experience that money should not be able to buyAn absolute must. i won’t say it’s not a challenging hike, because it’s up and it’s down and there are challenging stairs and paths with (moderately) unsure footing, and I was SORE the next day. But you have to do it. Specifically in a small group - no more than 10. Our guide Gennaro was a seasoned tour guide and has obviously made many relationships along the path, and money can’t buy the experience we had. it almost moved me to tears. my airbnb host recommended bringing a different shirt to change in to if you’re staying for lunch or drinks at the end of your hike, and man am I glad he did! in mid september it was still very warm, and despite several fountains and shaded areas along the way, it was a work out for sure. so yes, an extra shirt to change into after you sweat through your first one (or two) is a good idea. and water - plenty of water. DO THIS TOUR - you will not regret it. your calves will be sore but the views are well worth it.
- aelgen00Average tripThe boat trip from Amalfi to Capri and the trip around Capri was great exept for the guide. He spoke Italian almost all the time and 90% of the partisipants did not understand. The guide at Capri was mutch better and the trip to Anacapri was OK. Both the boat (ferry) and the buses was very full and the information we got before the trip was uncomplete.
- Christopher A00DisappointedI never got to go, a day before the actual day in less than 12 hoursI was informed by the company thatvmy reservation was over looked and that there was no seats available for the day I had booked for, I denied a rescheduled day because I have other plans for the day offered...I am still disappointed on her poorly the outcome is...I was only refunded less than 63 dollars from the 88 dollars I was priced for
- Holaiza8200Absolutely beautifulFirst of all Big Thanks to our tour guy Corrado! He was an amazing guider on this beautiful adventure. Even though there was some misunderstanding he made our trip such an amazing experience. We took our first boat on the Maiori port and then headed to Amalfi to get the rest of the passenger. Corrado was very informative about everything and was very fun. The view of the Capri Island is breathtaking omg it is absolutely beautiful likely unreal but its gorgeous. If you are heading to the Coast I highly recommend this tour. Overall i am very satisfied and happy about taking this tour
- JillAnderson7300Trip to Anacapri and CapriIt advised not more than 45 per group, this is not true we had at least 200! On the advert is sounds like you are picked up all nice but it’s just the same ferry everyone gets and it’s crammed. At first the boat trip over to Capri was well organised but due to the sheer volume of people we could but hear what the translator was saying as there was no room upstairs. So a waste of Money. The outward trip to Anacapri was fine no problems. We returned to where we were told at 3pm lots of chaos at the bus pick up we waited in the heat for 45 minutes we finally got a bus back to Capri but we’re told be had to be back at the bus for 4:20pm this gave us 37 minutes to get to the square and look around Capri not the 2 hours advertised. Very disappointed we only had time to buy a coke as the queues for an ice team were too long for our 37 minutes. Getting back on the bus to the port was better but the scramble to actually get in the ferry was a nightmare as it was not just people in this trip but everyone else and everyone pushing and shoving. Sorry to say I would not recommend and I’ve been on many trip advisor trips. £220 is a lot of money. It worth it. Way overpriced.

The views from the water of the coast are lovely, however you can also see these views by catching a ferry from town to town ie. Conca dei Marini to Amalfi, 2 person ferry boat, 7 Euros each. This tour is ok, but not a must do.

Staff was very friendly, but finding the correct boat was a bit confusing. Tour guide was good and the stop at the emerald grotto went smoothly. Wish we had a bit longer stop in Positano, but overall very pleasant!

We booked this tour on the day and the experience was great from start to finish. The staff contacted us after booking to arrange for an unscheduled stop to collect us from Minori, saving us time and effort to get to the listed pick up point in Maiori.
The guide and crew were friendly and really helpful throughout the tour, providing interesting commentary along the way.
The views, sites and experiences really speak for themselves, nothing but spectacular! The stop at the Emerald Grotto was a bit “touristy” but still beautiful and lots of fun.
Plenty of free time to explore in Positano, then back on the boat for the return trip.

We had planned this trip well in advance. Looking forward to the trip. We were only there for three days. I was sent an SMS to cancel the trip only an hour before the trip it started. We waited about departure area an hour before. No phone calls. No messages. Just an SMS to say that the trip canceled without reason. This is an appalling service, with such a short stay and several things booked this made the trip AN AWFUL experience. I suggest you do not book with this firm.

Dear Sir,
many thanks for your review.
Unfortunately, due a storm, the tour was cancelled due to weather conditions and obviously safety matters.
On the tour conditions of our excursions (which you accepted at time of booking), it is clearly written we have the right to cancel any tour for safety matters or bad sea conditions. This was the case. We had confirmation by the port authority about the port closure only in morning.
On the voucher it is clearly stated you must contac us the day before the tour, that day we informed all the clients who contacted us the day before there could be an issue with the weather for the following day, and to stand by.
You did not follow the voucher instruction and you did not call us. We tried to contact you but the number you gave at time of booking was not working.
Naturally, we have full refunded you for the cancelled trip.
Unfortunately, ignoring the instruction given on vouchers, you may incur in AWFUL expericences, we suggest for next time to clearly read your voucher instructions.
We look forward to see you next time you are visiting the Amalfi Coast!
Kind regards

Such a big waste of money. First of all, the official website mentioned a stop in Furore’s fjord, which we haven’t done.
Then, the Emerald Grotto was supposed to cost 5€ according to the website and what the guide told us, they actually charged us 6€ with no explanation on the change of price. The Grotto is not particularly nice either and the “captain” who made us visit it was incredibly annoying.
The guide spoke a very poor english as well.
At the end of the day, the whole “cruise” is just a boat trip from Amalfi to Positano. You can do exactly the same for 8€!

Dear Guests,
thank you very much for your note.
The entrance fee to the Emerald Grotto price raised only last week, we did not had the possibility to advise all guests already booked of the raise or ONE EURO on the entrance fee.
As advertised, we stop at the Furore Fjord, but we do not get off the boat, we simply look inside it as it is forbidden to disembark there - and there is nothing more than a photo to do there!
The Emerald grotto is an optional visit, and the capitain of the wood boat is not under our responsability as it is under Amalfi Town hall jurisdiction.
As for the guide, please note our guides all speak fluent English and work as Licensed guide of Campania Region since 20-30 years.
It is true, you can go by public ferry from Amalfi to Positano, but:
1. there is no live explanation
2. there is no stop & disembark at the grotto
3. there is no stop at Furore Fjord
4. there is no stop for the ritual kiss at the natural arch
5. navigation is not under the Coast but from far.
We invite all future guests to read the hundreds of good reviews about this trip by real guests and to ignore a bad review made by a phantom guest with just 1 review in his life!

Everything went as planned and the guides/crew were very nice. The sights were beautiful. I only wish we had a little bit longer in Positano

Hi We would probably be travelling to Amalfi Coast from Naples. What is the quickest and most affordable way to do this? How long does the journey take? What time do the tours start?
