When I turned up I was informed this is not a lesson, it is only to hire the paddle board. Not the end of the world as paddle boarding is pretty self explanatory but it’s very misleading as this is advertised as a lesson. I was just given a board and paddle and directed to the beach. Additionally was not given any sort of life vest. Also when you book you are not given a specific time, I emailed the company to ask when I should turn up and received no reply. Perhaps this experience has changed since covid as previous people who have revised clearly did have an instructor but if that’s the case the information needs to be updated.

My boyfriend booked an activity for my birthday with an instructor and 90 mins on a paddle board for two, while watching the sunset. There was no instructor whatsoever. The girl who worked there laughed when we said we've booked an activity with an instructor - apparently they didn't do any guided activities! She also didn't speak any English, despite the event being advertised as 'hosted in English'. We were handed the two paddle boards and two paddles and were told to go to the beach and be back in 90 minutes. No safety instructions, no guidance, nothing. I'm not a great swimmer myself so this was essentially a life-threatening situation. We were supposed to have an instructor to teach us, since neither of us had done it before. We did end up trying it on our own and asked a random man who was paddle boarding nearby for help. At the end we were even asked to wash and clean the paddle boards after we returned them!

I had to run around looking for the right place when the first place I went was the correct one. I was under the impression that it was a guided tour (See picture), it was not.

What a waste of money! Booked 2 weeks in advance and nobody showed up to the tour (not even the guide!) Anywhere Watersports are a total waste of time, don't use them, they will take your money and totally ignore you...

The instructor was super friendly and made it easy to learn. It's easy and simple to book (I did it through trip advisor). There was only myself and my sister in the paddle boarding lesson which made it feel like a private lesson! An hour and a half lesson was long enough to get the hang of it, but not too long where you may get a bit tired from paddling. They also have lockers to keep your belongings during your lesson, however no way to secure an actual padlock to it/no keys to lock the lockers, so maybe just for your own piece of mind, maybe don't bring anything too valuable. Overall, I would go again. In the description when you are booking (through trip advisor) it says that a wet suit is included, which it is not. I think you don't need it for paddle boarding because no one was wearing one/ they were not supplied to us before the lesson. Overall, if you want to try a water sport for the first time but aren't looking for anything too complicated and something quite leisurely for a fun holiday activity then I would recommend paddle boarding with 'Anywhere Water Sports'.

My friends and I were planning on going on a suptour to Jávea to go into caves. We had some miscommunications wih another organization so we deciced to take a look at Anywhere Watersports in Valencia. They normally don't do suptours, but they were so helpful and managed to organise one for me and my four friends. They drove us all the way to the beach in Jávea where they give supclasses. Two people of the organization went with us and it was an amazing experience! We saw a cave and tried some tricks on our supboard. The way back was more tiring because of the wind, but that was obviously not their fault. The beautiful beach and good company made it a day we won't easily forget! Huge thank you to Anywhere Watersports to help us out that much.

Last week I had a very good time in Valencia anywhere watersports doing StandUp paddling for the first time. The instructor was very friendly and was teaching me and my boyfriend perfectly how to do it. After 10 minutes I could do it very well and could so enjoy it for 1 hour! The prices are very fair and they also have lockers for your private stuff! All of them are speaking perfectly english, so it’s very easy to learn! I will definitely come back!

The first time I did Paddle surf and Kayak. It was amazing, I had a lot of fun and the people were really friendly and helpful :)
