- wenshanl20170 contributionsHighly recommended!During my Madrid trip wanted to visit Cuenca but couldn't find an easy public transportation, and I decided to use this local tour. The tour was great. Lots nature wonders in Enchanted City; The Cuenca Cathedral is worth to visit with your free time. Local guide Mr. Lopez was very knowldegelable and friendly. He introduced places we visited in detail. (I was the only English speaker in the group). Highly recommended!Written December 26, 2024
- ResaViajero0 contributionsVery well organized and fun day trip to Cuenca and the Enchanted CityFernando was awesome. He explained everything very well and did it in a fun way, both in Spanish and in English. He was also super kind taking care of an older lady with a walking stick. The tour was well organized. The enchanted city (Cuidad Encantada) is very beautiful. The rock formations are very unique. The old city is small but very cute. The cathedral is really beautiful even though I only had 25 minutes to wander through it during the limited free time at the Plaza Mayor. Gracias por todo, Fernando y José! 😀Written May 11, 2024
- barbaragS5526EL0 contributionsWorthwhile tripThese rock formations are amazing. Trail is well set up but some step climbing is involved. If you have any mobility challenges it would be good to have a walking stick.Written April 21, 2023
- cheffi500 contributionsAmazing trip to beautiful CuencaGreat tour to beautiful Cuenca, it filled all our expectations, excellent tour guides, we had to walk long distances due to Holly week, it was hard for a lot of people specially because the guides did not specified the length of the walk, but I highly recommend the tourWritten April 12, 2023
- victoriaf4070 contributionsMust-see when you’re in Madrid!Made for a long day but worth every minute. A safe and more relaxed way to experience history, culture and nature of Spain outside the busy city life of Madrid. Cesar, our driver, brought us there and back, and made plenty of stops (snacks, stretch & potty breaks )along the way. He was always where we needed him to be after the long arduous hikes. Fernando, was our consummate guide! He was THE best! He made a long day go by fast and enjoyable. He’s a wealth of information and clearly enjoys what he does. An excellent bilingual speaker/storyteller with a wonderful sense of humor, who told interesting stories about each point of interest. Cuenca and Ciudad Encantada was truly a magical experience under Fernando’s guidance. I also have breathtaking pictures to show for it! Many, many thanks to Cesar & Fernando! P.s. If you go, do wear proper attire and walking shoes.Written March 18, 2023
- N7687BRdaniela0 contributionsBad experience, not an English TourI hated this tour. The company sold it as an ENGLISH tour. It was NOT. I fact the only had one guide for the Spanish speakers and the English speakers. An the Spanish tourist would chat while the guide Fernando tried to talk making it very difficult to understand. Then they lied about it being an English tour when I complained. Go somewhere else! A total waste of time and money. Spend the last 2 (two) hours of the tour with Viator customer service. The tour GAVE me an awful HEADACHE!Written February 25, 2023
- Ritchietraveller0 contributionsVisit to the Enchanted CityThis was a trip to the amazing rock formations. Our guide was Victor who was very knowledgeable and showed us many things about the local wildlife and nature. We really enjoyed it and would recommend.Written October 20, 2019
