Spending time in Madrid with Lisa was like visiting the city with a friend. It was great to design the time exploring the city to include visiting neighborhoods and stopping at interesting shops and cafes that had a special history. Lisa was very informative but her style was also relaxed and conversational vs a highly structured tour. She always checked to make sure we were enjoying the sights we visited and the pace at which we were traveling. Loved finding all of the “hidden gems” within Madrid and it gave us places to visit during the rest of our stay in Madrid, and also on our next visit. Thank you Lisa! Highly recommend.

Let me tell you about the incredible time I had with my tour guide, Lisa, in Madrid! From the very moment we met, it was like reconnecting with an old friend who was very knowledgeable about this amazing city. Lisa was a lot of fun and brought the energy I was looking for in a guide. I wanted a flexible agenda for our 6 hours together since I was only in Madrid for part of a day. The tour was a masterclass in personalization. Lisa took us on a historic old town tour. We enjoyed our 2 hour walking tour and found the history provided by Lisa created a great picture of old town Madrid through the centuries. Thank you Lisa!

The tour was great, Lisa has a lot of knowledge about the city and its history, and shared information which I would not have known if I had gone on my own. She was friendly and helpful too, and walked me to the Prado museum as she wanted to make sure i reached there safely, even though our tour had ended Definitely engage her for walking tours!

We had a wonderful time exploring the city with Lisa. Very professional and knowledgeable. We went back to one of the tapas places she introduced to us because we enjoyed it so much! Really tasty food (croquettas and stuffed mushrooms were the best!)

The option I chose for the tour was the 4 hours one and my guide for the day was Marina. I was able to book a tour starting around lunch time as the day was rainy in the morning and Marina was able to accommodate a delayed time to avoid the rain. Once we started the tour we were very lucky and not only stopped raining but the temperature was very nice for a walk like this. Marina took me around all the centre of Madrid, telling me about the history, how the city has developed and showing me all the most historical and best tourist stops. Being a private tour we were able to customize the stops and have one for refreshments and a little break. We also did not spend so much time in the Literary quarter as I had already covered the area in a tapas tour the previous day. If you choose a longer tour you might be able to make visiting stops. Regardless I got plenty of additional tips for places to visit during my stay and had plenty of opportunities to take photographs. Thank you Marina for experience, best of luck.

I hired Lisa for a walking tour around Madrid. Before we met, I was given a questionnaire regarding the sites and things I was interested in. She managed to check all the boxes. Highly recommended!!! We had seen already a few places in Madrid and we asked Lisa to show us art, design , history, nice restaurants … Lisa was able to provide us a personalized experience. She is friendly , positive and patient. We booked only 2 hours , but we would recommend to book minimum 4 hours. We would like to thank Lisa for the great time together . We will definitely book it again when we are back in Madrid.

This was a food tour. I booked a private tour because we are vegetarians and hence felt a group tour might not be suitable. It was a nice evening out with Isabel and we tried a couple of vegan restaurants. I wouldn’t say the tour delivered value for the amount charged.
