    A delightful journey!
This is the best walking historical tour I have been on and the reason of course was our guide Jaime. Jaime’s lovely energy greeted us with authentic curiosity about the people he is guiding. Then he continued to lead us on a story telling journey about the past complete with curated pictures from his IPad. Jaime managed to distill thousands of years of history making the information manageable and memorable. Each stopping point of the tour was wonderful from the Palace to the Old Town and San Miguel market Highly recommended this tour and if you can get Jaime as your guide you will be delighted

Our tour guide, David: friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the subject. The price of the tour was worth what we paid.

    Entertaining and Informative.
Angel explained the origins of the monuments and historical sites with fun personal asides. He graciously answered questions and demonstrated his depth of knowledge with humor and positive energy. I highly recommend the tour.

    Great tour and tour guide!
Wonderful tour! Was not expecting to enjoy it as much as I did! Ana shared not only the history but her own thoughts, providing a local’s insight as to where to go and what to eat. Very knowledgeable, easy to understand, fun and friendly.

Easy-paced intro to Madrid, Spanish history and food
My friend and I enjoyed this walking tour of Madrid with Ana! Since it was my friend's first time to the city and Spain, I thought it would be a good way to become familiar with the Old Town and learn about Spain's history and culture. Added bonus- we happened to be on the tour during the monthly changing of the guards at the Royal Palace. Ana was engaging, flexible and nice to chat with one on one as well!

    Take it with Jake!
Great tour! Our guide, Jake, was very knowledgeable about the history of Madrid and showed us many “non-touristy” places. We were fortunate enough to watch a Virgin procession into the Cathedral. What a beautiful ceremony. Definitely recommend the tour.

    Great Experience
We had a great and diverse walking tour through the historic parts of Madrid and learned a lot about the city, its origins and history. The tour also included interesting bits about Spanish culture and cuisine, as well as many great recommendations on local food. Ana Muñoz is a very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and charming tour guide. She made the tour interesting and fun. Thank you!

Best way to start your visit to Madrid
Jaime, our guide, was friendly, informed, and interesting. Not only did he discuss the history, but he gave us insider tips to enjoy Madrid, helped us navigate the tourist experiences with preferred times, days, etc., and offered to answer questions for us beyond the tour. A quality introduction to the city; I cannot recommend him and the experience highly enough.

    Excellent tour of Old Madrid!
This was a fantastic tour to start our trip off with! Enrique was our guide - he was funny, personable, and very knowledgeable. I learned so much about the history and culture of Spain, it made me appreciate visiting the city. I also realized how little North Americans learn about other countries. We saw many beautiful buildings of historical significance, the architectural styles, and also about what it's like living in Madrid. Very happy we also go to look inside the interior of Almudena Cathedral. Enrique was very considerate of our needs and made sure no one got lost or was overheated in the sun. Thank you for excellent experience!

    Madrid walking tour
It was a great way to get educated about Madrid. Ana explained the history of Madrid and pointed out for us to do while we are here in Madrid which was very informative. She was very enthusiastic at what she does. She has so much knowledge also she was very kind. Thanks Ana, if I can choose her again next time, I would!

Anna's walking tour of Madrid Old City is great!
Anna with Aviator Tours was very personable, knowledgable and helpful to a mobility compromised tour group member. I learned some things about the history of Spain and really appreciated Anna's enthusiasm and historical awareness. The day of our tour the king was in residence at the palace receiving dignitaries from Palestine and other countries. A suggestion for improvement: to acknowledge the genocide in Palestine and share with the group how the people of Madrid view the conflict and the genocide and how they are expressing their views. The very least we can do is to acknowledge. I happily recommend a tour with Anna.

My wife and I undertook this tour at the end of a month long visit to Spain. We were exhausted and could hardly muster the energy to find our way to the meeting point; however, once we met up with Andrea Velasco (our tour guide) and spent a few minutes listening to her description of what we were about to see, we felt re-energized and ready to go. Madrid is a magical place and any tour that visits important destinations will be worthwhile, what made this tour really special was Andrea's in-depth knowledge of her city and its history. Her passion and her love of Madrid was in full display, it was infectious and we loved every minute of our long walk through the narrow streets of the old city. I am sure every BABYLON TOUR is staffed with the same high caliber professional. This tour is a MUST.... don't miss it.

Our guide Alex was brilliant. We only had four people in total on the tour which made for brilliant interaction with our guide who provided a brilliant backdrop to what we were seeing.

We would thoroughly recommend the tour, it left us with a far better understanding of the history of both Spain and Madrid itself

The walking tour was an amazing 2.5 hours with David! Extremely knowledgeable, fun and engaging. The tour flew by. Even though it was hot, he kept us in the shade as much as possible when we stopped and asked if we wanted to stop to buy water as we passed shops. Very considerate of the small group.

Jose was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Madrid as well as Spain in general. He relayed the information so that we could easily understand the connection between Toledo and Madrid. He also made sure we could all hear him!

Angel was an excellent guide. He explained the history of Madrid, as well as various past events of Spanish history very well. The walk was interesting but not overly taxing. Lots of stops to chat, answer questions and talk about Spanish cuisine, Napoleon’s occupation and the days of the Inquisition. Would highly recommend this tour with Babylon Tours and Angel as guide.

The tour was very informative. Our tour guide Jake was very educated on Spanish history, influences, architecture, basically what you would want to know about the local area. In addition, he provided excellent suggestions on a local cuisine. After the tour we went back to one of the places and had a wonderful lunch. Thank you, Jake, for a great time!

Great history lesson while we walked the the streets. Ana M. was so knowledgeable and customized her commentary to our questions. The time flew by as we travelled from pre-Christian to medieval to the renaissance! Recommend this tour if you want to see history as you hear about it
