About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- ChrisandGlenn0 contributionsSegovia & Avila day tourMichelle, the guide imparted alot of information in clear, faultless English. An amazing trip with much to see in Segovia..The wall in Avila was one of a kind. Most impressive. Very hot weather this time of year.Written August 1, 2024
- juanhB2168FF0 contributionsSecond report.I wrote a scathing review about this tour taken on June 30, 2024. It was published for a short period of time but has since disappeared. It was a very bad tour to two most beautiful places. The guide lady was awful. Stay away from this experience please unless you want to waste your time and money.Written July 24, 2024
- shobam2290 contributionsWorst day tour ever with irresponsible guides! My sister and I booked your Toledo and Segovia tour for today (18 June 2024) through our hotel - Hotel Regente and we have had the worst experience ever!! It started in Toledo with the guide not informing us not to leave our belongings in the bus as we will be using a different bus for the return. She also called out a few names including mine and continues talking Spanish without English translation. When I realised about the different bus for the return, I quickly traced my steps back and to find that the bus had already left. When I approached the guide, she was most unhelpful and kept repeating “I don’t know”. I tried talking to Anthony our English speaking guide but he was more concerned about supporting his colleague and justifying that it’s not easy to switch between languages!! The tour in Toledo with the cathedral tour left us with very little time for lunch as we needed 30 mins to find our way back to the bus pickup point. Our next incident was in Segovia where we had a different guide and we are unable to recover from the shock that the guide was extremely irresponsible, did not do a headcount to ensure everyone from the bus was with her and left a few of us stranded!! In the bus from Madrid to Segovia, she said we will have 30 mins for coffee and toilet break but on arrival in Segovia, she tells us that we only have 10 mins. We very quickly rushed to find a toilet and imagine our horror when we went back to the location where the tour guide was last seen , which is in front of the aquaduct, seems to have disappeared!!! We walked around a bit trying to look for her and could not find her nor find the others from the bus! We eventually found a family of 3 who also realised that the guide had completely forgotten about us. We just waited for 1.5 hrs at the very location for fear of missing the guide and the bus back to Madrid as no headcount is ever done and I’m pretty sure she would have left us in Segovia!! - justalittlebitocd0 contributionsDon’t waste your timeWe got our ticket through the Go city Madrid pass. Check in was very organised Duo language (Spanish and English) through an audio set which I found a little tricky because I would tune out for the Spanish bit and then not be listening when she switched to English . My gosh she didn’t stop chatting on the bus . It was toooo much Our tour was snail pass slow that we were nearly tripping over ourselves . Literally shuffling . We saw the Monastery which was a little underwhelming which was on me because I had tuned out by now and removed my headset and was just following the group without hearing / knowing the stories the crypt was interesting Back on the bus to valley of the fallen. Look it’s a massive cross and gorgeous view . You can’t use the funicular . The crypt thing was kinda interesting but not worth a trip out of Madrid for us For me this was the wrong tour but it was the ONLY trip to el Escorial in the Go city Madrid pass. I would have preferred to do JUST an English tour In all honesty I would have preferred to do a day trip to each Toledo and Segovia versus a combined day and skipped el Escorial altogetherWritten June 14, 2024
- ritarK6360EB0 contributionsUnacceptable, This tour should not be allowed to operate. This tour should be allowed to operate. It was so disorganised that it ruined my holiday of a lifetime. I was on 12 days Andalucia, Morocco and Spain from Lisbon, ending in Lisbon (this option is not on this dropdown menu). I booked the tour online through TourRadar, an Australian site, which says English speaking guide, but I was in Spanish groups majority of time. It was sold as one tour (guided tour) however in that 12 days I was mixed and matched with 5 groups and had 5 ‘guides’ only one guide in Morocco spoke reasonable English then he said he was expecting me (who didn’t understand Spainish or Arabic) there. From the beginning very little information, first there was no contact person or number if you had any questions. I was given a WhatsApp no but saying ‘only for emergency’. When I tried contacting no response. I was nervous until I found the 1st guide, I knew the meeting address but no other info. Inhad left message to this guide to contact me to confirm if I was in his group but no response. I arrived at the address with my luggage, when I met him I learned he didn’t know English, he checked his list and found my name, I was relieved. He tried to communicate with me using Google translate and told me that I will be sent to another group where the guide will speak English, luckily there were many Americans who also spoke Spanish and they translated to me necessary instructions. 2nd guide spoke few basic words of English, 3rd guide in Morocco Najib was the only guide in this tour who made effort to ‘guide’. 4th guide Pepe spoke basic English (I was in french/english group now) but could not be bothered explaining things much. Last leg was another drama. After arriving in Madrid I learned that rest of the group are finishing their tour and heading home, I was the only one supposed to continue on to Lisbon. I had no communication/further instructions from the tour company, I tried contacting them to no avail. As per the tour schedule I had two nights in Madrid, when I couldn’t contact the tour I check with hotel about my reservation, they had only one night reserved for me and hotel is fully booked so they told me to vacate the room. Still can not establish contact with the tour, when I conveyed my concerns to hotel receptionist, one ignore but other picked up the phone and called the tour company and told me that ‘they will check and call back’ but since the hotel is fully booked they told me to kindly vacate the room and sort out issue with the tour company. Meantime I also had also written to TourRadar. Finally I got a response from TourRadar and tour company saying I could stay there the night. Then next I didn’t know how I was going to Lisbon, if anyone is picking me up. After many attempts to contact the tour company (they won’t answer my phone but answered hotels phone), the office didn’t have any record first then they found my name but no idea about my schedule , simultaneously contacting TourRadar, until 9:30 pm I didn’t know my next days program. Finally I received a text with name of the driver and time for pick up. Then in the morning I was told the driver couldn’t find me, eventually he turned up and drove me to Lisbon. This is not an organised tour, so not worth the money. There are so many budget tours much more organised than this, I booked this only because this fitted my time that I have and area I wanted to visit. This tour should not be allowed to operate. If anyone have booked, they have free cancellation, please take advantage and cancel it as it is easy to travel independently in those areas. Since I was travelling solo and I had pleasant experience with organised tours in the past with other tour companies (Cosmos, GoEuGo and TakeTour) I booked this but I still cannot believe that this is allowed.Written June 7, 2024
- Edna M0 contributionsHighly recommendedWe liked the promptness and organization of all the employees, ensuring the timeliness of the trip. Also the guide, Noelia, were key for our enjoyment.Written June 2, 2024
- cheffi500 contributionsA rushed visit to Escorial and Valley of the fallenThe tour is good the locations are beautiful but we were rushed thru the entire tour. Our tour was early there were no lines or waiting any place but still our tour guide took us in such a rush we hardly have time for pictures or enjoy the beauty of the place. We were given 2 minutes for the gift shop or take pictures. She was very concerned to be back on time for the next tour, we arrived 15 minutes ahead of time. We were very disappointed I rather paid more to be able to enjoy the amazing beauty of the Escorial and Valley of the fallenWritten May 14, 2024
- W6061CAmichaels0 contributionsLots of fun!Vanessa did a fantastic job. Lots of fun and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend for sure! She took us to great placesWritten May 3, 2024
- Travel2229420 contributionsHorrible tripHorrible trip. Very disorganized. Tour guide ran through Toledo, from point to point. If you did not run next to him, you would came to the stop right when he finished his 2 sentence intro and would have to run to another point. I have been traveling for the last 40 years . It’s the worst trip.Written April 28, 2024
- helenao9620 contributionsSegovia and Avila tourPlaces that we visited were one of the most beautiful I have ever seen but unfortunatly we didn't have no time to Explorer and see the. We were always waiting for someone in the bus and couldn't leave on time. And the we had like 20 minutes of free time in every city. It clearly wasn't enough. The guides were both pleasant people but didn't proovide us any interesting facts maybe just a couple. I would like It if we could hear more during the driving the bus. I also bought another tour I hope It Will be better.Written April 27, 2024
- 933ellec0 contributionsWe learnt nothing on guided tourThe bus ride was OK. It takes longer than the train, but you get to see the panoramic view of the city from above. The guided tour was very poor because we didn't learn anything. When we were done with lunch we had to pay for another guide to actually teach us something about the city. Sadly enough we didn't have enough time to complete the tour before having to get back to the bus. This is why I would not recommend going on this particular tour.Written April 13, 2024
- georgiannef20230 contributionsFalse advertisingI chose this trip specifically because it included entrance to the Alcázar in Segovia. We got there when it closed. Beatriz spent our time in Segovia in the Cathedral looking and explaining at everything. We were late getting to Segovia because of rush hour traffic. She could easily have shortened the Cathedral tour. She did not apologize for arriving late to the Alcázar and blamed it on traffic. The bus did not take the tour to see the Alcázar from the famous views from outside below. She did not explain that this was the original Walt Disney castle that many know.Written April 5, 2024
- Terry D0 contributionsTrip to Segovia with momumentsVery disappointed. We thought we could spend time at the castle and did not even get near it. Most of the time was spent in two Cathedrals, which are on every corner in Spain. Paid for an English tour and most of the trip was lost in translation, although the translator tried her best. Would not recommend. Rent a car and go on your ownWritten March 19, 2024
- carlosvelezjd0 contributionsAmazing morning, disappointing afternoon. This was actually two tours. The morning was excellent, went to El Escorial and the Valley of the Fallen. The guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable about history and culture. The afternoon was disappointing. I paid to go to Toledo and see the historic sights. We started with an amazing view of the city historic district. Then we went to a souvenir shop. Disappointing to pay money and travel an hour each way to go to a souvenir shop. The afternoon guide, Ricardo, was annoying. Kept on repeating “fijaros (look)”, after spending half an hour at the souvenir shop kept on saying we don’t have a lot of time to see the city. We only got to walk around on our own 1 1/4 hours. It was late so we didn’t go back to the office, after dropping everyone else off at their hotel I was dropped off at a place 20 minutes from where I’m staying. I did better going on my own on my last trip.Written February 4, 2024
- 864jenniee0 contributionsGreat option for half day tour from MadridGreat tour providing just the right amount of information about the local sights. Very time efficient with sights so not a lot of time to spend wandering around the time at the end of the guided tour but that suited us. Tour guide was friendly and super helpful.Written January 10, 2024

The itinerary of the excursions was just as planned, I loved and enjoyed each of the places we went to visit. Something to highlight is the guide who accompanied us during the trip, Miguel, a very happy, kind, friendly person, very committed to the group at all times, everything was very well explained on his part, I give him a 10 out of 10, he made the trip very enjoyable. at all times. In short, a good trip, I would repeat the same destination again.

los hoteles que usan pueden ser buenos, pero estan muy lejos de los lugares de interes, con lo cual uno queda aislado . Varios de los sitios que se visitan son sin guia, lo cual tambien pierde valor. No tienen servicio de maletero
