David was so kind! Being from the US we really enjoyed his tour as he simplified it enough for us to take in during a short tour, but also showed us wonderful detail! He even took us a Convent and helped us buy cookies from the nuns! Overall a very special tour that I highly suggest doing as soon as you get into town so you have a better layout for the rest of your trip. Muchas gracias, David!

Jake, our guide, was very knowledgeable, both about Madrid and its history. He shared a lot of interesting facts about both. We stopped at many spots, so there was time to rest during the walk. I’ve been on many guided tours around the world, and Jake is one of the best! He is also quite tall, so easy to follow thru the crowds😀

Jake was an excellent guide. The walking tour was very informative and presented a historical guide of the history of Spain and the city of Madrid. The pace was just about right and followed a useful structure of history and Spain’s place in the world. As well as presenting basic facts, Jake provided stories that complimented the understanding of the locations and historical context. There was lots of time given to extra questions from guests. We really enjoyed our tour with Sergio. He was an excellent teacher and guide. We learned a lot about the history of Madrid, and Spain, and he helped historic Madrid come alive. As we have walked around since, we’ve been able to see other examples of things that we heard from him. The small group was a perfect size.

Jamie was a great guide! He did a great job at explaining the history of the palace and was able to answer every question. His knowledge was impressive.

Isabella, our guide, was AMAZING!. This might have been my favorite art tour ever. Our guide knew everything, provided so much historical context to each work of art, and was very easy to talk too.

Isabel was FANTASTIC! We learned so much. Isabel was a great tour guide. She was so warm and friendly and knowledgeable! She was funny, too! Isabel answered all our questions and shared all sorts of interesting points about the history of Spain, art, the royal family, and the palace. Isabel asked us what else we had done in Madrid and tied it all together!

Great guide. Full of knowledge and obviously enjoyed her job. Explained Spain’s history and pointed out architecture of interest. Toward the end of the 2.5 hr walk she touched on favorite local foods.

This was our first trip to Madrid. Being a walkable city, we decided on a walking tour. Boy did we hit a home run with this tour and Beatriz as our guide. She is very personable and knowledgeable about past and presented. It was more like a walk with a friend than a guide. Don’t take the big tour bus. Take this tour if you want close to the real Old Town.
