I wish I could give this tour more than 5 stars! Carmen was terrific!! She took us to amazing places to eat to experience wonderful Spanish specialties, and while doing so, told us about the history, architecture, and culture of Madrid. It was a fantastic way to get to know our way around Madrid, while at the same time, learning about the city and eating delicious food! Carmen answered all of our questions, and before the end of the night, we felt like we had a made a good friend. She was so fun and easy to be with. Truly an unforgettable time. Thanks so much Carmen! You’re the best!

Carmen was an amazing guide on this food tour through Old Madrid. Her passion for the traditional tapas of Madrid made the evening fun and informative. She took us to her favorite places and we loved each one. She also shared lots of tips for restaurants to try during the rest of our stay. We took the tour on our first night in Madrid and it was a great way to get familiar with Puerto Del Sol and the Plaza Mayor. I highly recommend Carmen and her food tours!

Carmen did a fantastic job! She shares all the tapas places that she grew up going to and has a personal relationship with all the shop owners. Her insight into the city would be hard to beat and the food was amazing! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Madrid!

We met Carmen and knew immediately we were in for a treat. We went to three different tapas restaurants. Carmen is very knowledgeable about Madrid and we enjoyed our time with her very much. She adapted to our likes and dislikes when ordering food and gave us the opportunity to try some wonderful bites. Would definitely recommend!

Carmen was the best tour guide. She taught us about the history of Madrid, food and drinks. We loved to chat about where the food came from, the modern culture and trends and we saw so much of the city center!

Our guide Carmen was great. She was very patient for a couple who didn’t arrive on time. The restaurants and food choices were great. She shared much information about both and showed us on her map about the origins of the food and its location. Her English was superb. Had an amazing time with Carmen as our tour guide ! Great food, drink and company. Carmen was VERY knowledgeable and did a nice job of blending local history with great Tapas ! It was perfect way to capstone our trip to Madrid !

We had an amazing time on this food tour. We had an excellent tour guide, Carmen, who told us her story and all the ins and outs of Madrid. We tried some of the best shrimp/prawns we have ever had. My wife and I typically don’t eat mushrooms however had the best mushrooms at the mushroom champion restaurant. All was finished off with some delicious churros dipped in chocolate. Carmen was able to fill us in on all sorts of other great authentic places to check out as well. Would recommend this tour.

We really enjoyed this tour and the guide was fantastic. We did this our first night there and We went back to several of the places later in the trip.

Carmen was just delightful. So knowledgeable and informative. All of the Tapas Bars were wonderful and who could resist chocolate at the end. I highly recommend this tour with Carmen.

If you want to visit real Madrid tapas bars, then go with Carmen. She was a delight and showed us all authentic local and delicious places to eat and talk with friends. We learned a lot about Spain's history because Carmen is a font of information and we ended with the most fantastic tasting dessert - churros and hot chocolate.

What a great night! Carmen is an excellent guide, so knowledgeable, sharing so much interesting information of Madrid. She is really friendly and funny. All the places she took us to were true authentic Spanish eateries and the food was divine, as well as the wine. There were just six of us in rhe group which was an ideal number, we were with a couple from Florida who were great company. OMG...the dessert finale was delicious!! Thoroughly recommend this tour, this is Carmen's own company and she deserves all the support!!
