- janiceo201700Great, great day great trip. Beautiful city is beautiful palaces, and cathedrals.Great day. Do not purchase the group luThis was great day. It was a very long day. But you know that going in. The tour Director was terrific. The coach driver was terrific. Everything was very comfortable walking and Torres were not too much. Granted you didn’t get to spend too much time in each town, but it was way worth it. The only problem was that we purchased a lunch , some people didn’t purchase a lunch and they drop them off at a different place and we picked them up after lunch, the lunch was horrible. It was clearly a Tourist bus stop location I recommend you DO NOT purchase a lunch, but go on your own to eat.
- pilaro57500The Toledo that sometimes people don't see --if in tours- But that are exquisiteToledo, far too many tourists and people miss the most exquisite places like the museum De Santa Cruz, an amazing church that has been transformed into a museum. Also the Museo Cromatica, located in a convent, where 19 nuns still live in clausura, and a small part of the large convent now is the place where an exhibition of hand painted musical instruments is located. The exhibition is so exquisite that one wants to be there for ever. The rest of Toledo is too crowded, and it felt as a tourist trap without any poetics. Worth seeing and staying is the castle across from the main Town where one stays for around $20 a night, exquisite views of Toledo and the landscape of Castilla.
- 151agnesj00Fun Toledo and SegoviaExcellent tour, our guide was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. We really enjoyed the tour to Toledo and Segovia.
- Denna21100Park Guell - BarcelonaOur tour experience was a bit disappointing as our tour guide was an unenthusiastic and a not so friendly individual. The tour also turned out to be a bilingual one in both English and Spanish. The tour guide offered rather lengthy slow-paced description/ history of the park in two languages meaning that our group would be just standing there idle until she repeated her explanations in Spanish. Park Guell is a manmade green area created on top of a dry mountain so we ended up standing under the sun in Barcelona’s heat during those wait periods. People started to leave the group to continue visiting the park at their own pace 15min into the tour but the tour guide did not seem to care as she did not try to modify her presentation style. We eventually left the group after 30min too. Overall, this tour felt like a boring history class!
- marysecH2082JM00I love spainI had a wonderful time, quaint town friendly place, very welcoming. The food was good not very expensive
- maricrescam00Toledo and Segovia TourTop and excellent guided Tour with Rodrigo. It was outstanding, passionate, informative, engaging and entertaining. The itinerary was very well thought out. Saved our time and gave tips where to take the best shot for taking pictures. Recommend good restaurant which he didn't disappoints us. Overall a great experience with Amigo Tours.
- jads4u00Toledo - a Must SeeWe went to Toledo as part of an excursion with Ama Waterways. Toledo was amazing. Absolutely beautiful city sitting atop a hill. One of the most incredible catholic cathedrals you will ever see, fabulous cafes and charcuteries serving incredible food. If you're in Spain find your way here and make a day of it. It will be well worth it.
- julievP7360YU00Early skip the line access with organized tour guide with decent EnglishWe did the royal palace tour through Go City with Maria Jesus. She spoke English fairly well, and did a very good job explaining the history and the rooms and specific pieces of art/objects. We did not tour the armory. I didn’t realize that this was not included with the tour. She explained where it was located so we could go on our own. We appreciated that she was organized and got us into the palace as early as possible. She had us waiting at the right spot to get in as soon as the doors opened. Great job Maria!
- julievP7360YU00Started late, Ended Early. Only 6 paintings tour.We did the two hour Prado museum tour that meets at 9:45 AM through GoCity Madrid with a short female with short dark hair (Leon). There was a party of 4 and a party of 2, so we thought that we would be able to see a lot with a small group. The tour guide was with 2 other guides, so we thought, hey maybe even more attention. Unfortunately, despite reserving the timed tour in advance, she did not buy the tickets until that morning and waited in line. Unfortunately we then had to wait in another line to go through security, resulting in us not entering the exhibit until 10:30. If she bought the timed tickets in advance, which is expected as this tour had to be reserved in advance for a specific time, the security and ticket line would have been much shorter. Why have us come early at 9:45 if you are not prepared? She discussed 6 paintings in the entire Prado, which has thousands of paintings and the tour ended early at 11:30, despite starting late. I would not recommend this tour. It was poor value.
- danielmL7826QX00Khan is a legendThe tour was brilliant and this was mainly due to the tour guide. khan was amazing, he was extremely friendly and had a brilliant sense of humour. He really brought the tour to life by cramming in as much information as he could. Khan was a terrific tour guide and made the experience excellent.
- smartsamat00pleasant historical journeyThe tour guide was very informative and told interestingly about the history of Toledo and Segovia. The cities itself are just amazing! Buses are quite comfortable with climate control, but sadly without Wi-Fi (that's why, minus 1 point). Besides that, I was very contented to take the tour.
- Asad K00Terrible ticket systemTerrible they didn’t send me actual tickets for entry I have to call them and send me entry ticket I have to wait infront of gate. That’s made me very annoying!
- Jonna M00Great but return trip awfulAmazing tour (Toledo, Segovia, Madrid). Tour guide was nice and very informative. Could've used more time to shop. However the bus driver Antonio refused to cool the bus. We were all cooking inside for an hour and a half. There were children and elderly in the bus and there was no consideration. We felt nauseous and dizzy and inhaling tunnel fumes. Horrible return trip.
- J6098CAjonathang00Don’t waste your moneyAt the last minute our trip was shortened and we did not go to Avila. The two cities we did visit were very beautiful and interesting. Our guide was not very knowledgeable and we could not understand her as she did not speak clearly. Not very much history was discussed. Not worth the money and I do believe the reason for the elimination of the third city was financial. Not a good way to run a business. This was the second cancellation of our trip. Will not use trip advisor again.
- 965ravik00Two must sees with mediocre tour guideThe experience of visiting two beautiful and historic places is fantastic. You cannot complete a trip to Madrid without these gems. The tour is good, pickup time is precisely on the dot, good guides, are knowledgeable as well. The true tale of the history and evolution of the two places is amazing. Lunch suggestions by the tour guide were also nice. Tour guide was in a rush and chasing her down is a challenge. No time for pictures mainly in Toledo, so be ready to have your entire experience only in your mind. The reason is the tour ended by 6pm, so 10 hours not 11 hours. We felt that was not fair. During the return to the bus, the tour guide did not set the expectations set properly because of which we were walking in hot sun (96 degrees F) without umbrellas and hats for 25 minutes. Not right. If we would have known that, we would have be mentally prepared for the walk to the bus.

I definitely felt this was worth purchasing. We definitely got to go into the museum well before it opened and never had to wait in line to get it. Our guide was very knowledgable and had a lot of great information about the Royal Palace. The Palace its self is stunning, one thing that was not mentioned before the tour is that you are not allowed to bring a backpack or large purse into the museum and will be required to lock it up in a locker before entering. There were a lot of people on the tour that had to lock their stuff up and were very annoyed by it. So just an FYI if you are a person who carries a large purse or backpack. But otherwise, this was a great tour.

We book a small group trip and the first half was fine
However outside the Palace the guide told us that she would leave and someone would take over shortly
We waited an hour on 34 degree and finally a new guide turned up with at least 30 people
So much for the short group which we pay for
The guide did a reasonalbe job considering the number know in the group
The palace is worth visiting and it is wonderfull inside
However we never received an apology and refund
the company do not even replied to my complaint to the company
Be careful

Tour ok for the price. Nice break between to see other parts of city and to get lunch. Both site are worth seeing, but both tours were given in Spanish and English making them much longer then they needed to be and less time to ask questions. Recommend finding a tour in single language.

Nov 2018 • Couples
The tours were broken up by hours in between. For the morning tour of the Royal Palace, we started 20 minutes late due to waiting on people to show up. Our guide Nacho was very nice but had a thick accent so he was hard to follow sometimes. There was no wait to enter except a security bag check. The rooms we entered and descriptions we heard were adequate - we felt like we had a good knowledge of the palace. Then we had hours before the Prado tour in the evening. Unfortunately due to heavy Madrid traffic and an accident, we were 6 minutes late to the meeting point and our tour had left us. We could not figure out a way to connect with them. It was extremely disappointing since we know they can wait, as we did for 20 minutes in the morning. The next day we did the Prado Museum on our own. It's a fantastic museum and we were bummed that we missed the professional descriptions.

Mixed review on this tour. Both of our guides were great, and provided excellent descriptions of the paintings in the Prado and the rooms in the palace. My issue is it was bilingual, Spanish and English. We wasted so much time waiting to have items described in both languages, and the guides has to work twice as hard explaining everything twice. I will not take a dual language tour again (I must have missed that on the description for this one). Guides were superb, it was just the two language descriptions that we did not care for.
