Our guide was very easy to find. She was standing right where the arrival point was with the red sign, “Amigo Tours.” We started our day at the Prado Museum. Let me start with saying, this museum has so much art it can be overwhelming. I am very thankful that we had our guide to help explain the depth and history of the famous works. If anything, I would recommend Prado Museum for its own day. There is so much to see that it is nearly impossible to do all in the time given. With that being said, we had a break before going to the Palace so we were able to stay at Prado to continue walking around on our own.

After the two hour break, we met again at the arrival point. The Royal Palace was the highlight of my day. All the breathtaking sights, the grandness of it all, it is unforgettable. I am so glad we had out tour guide to give us the history of every room we went in to.

This is a great tour, and I would highly recommend it!

We paid for the tour and arrived well before the time the tour began. We found no tour. My husband and I walked around the area, ask other people holding tour signs for other companies, ask people standing in groups and even ladies who work at the Prado if they know anything. We saw no signs and no group. After waiting 20 minutes we bought our own tickets and toured on our own. We have done this many times at other museums and tours around the world and this is the first time this has happened. We were told that they could not wait for us. We would have called but we do not have international calling plan or internet services. The tour company would not refund our money because they said it was our fault for missing the tour. What a shame this company is difficult. Forget it! The Prado is fabulous but an easy tour on your own.
