Madrid Historical Walking Tour with Food Tasting and Dinner
From $80.85
Overview
Skip the tourist traps and experience Madrid’s dining culture like a local, with a walking tour that visits four different tapas bars and explores the history of the area. Pass landmarks, such as the San Miguel Market, the Arab Walls, and the Royal Palace, as you immerse yourself in the city’s evening atmosphere, and benefit from the small-group tour size to gain personalized recommendations from your local guide.
What to Expect
Greet your guide at a meeting point on Plaza Isabel II in the city center. Then, walk together through the city’s historic streets to discover the local nightlife, cultural landmarks, and top spots for an authentic taste of Madrid’s cuisine.
Stroll through Plaza Mayor, passing the San Miguel Market, and along Segovia Street (Calle de Segovia). Discover the city’s Moorish roots as you wander by the Arab Walls, and admire the Royal Palace while learning about the history of Spain’s monarchy.
Pause at four tapas bars to sample authentic Spanish cuisine and immerse yourself in the local dining culture. Taste specialties, including Spanish tortilla, paella, ham (jamón), chorizo, and manchego cheese, and enjoy a variety of beverages, including Spanish wine, sangria, Licor de Hierbas, and patxaran (liqueur). At the last bar, settle around a table for a full sit-down meal.
Your tour concludes back on Plaza Isabel II.

yes wine and/or beers. Sangria at the meal at the end. We stood for the croquettes but not long, sitting everywhere else. Also we went in the holidays so it was quite busy. Book it, you won't regret it.
