Overview
Enjoy an alternative sightseeing experience of Madrid on a sleek, self-balancing Segway with a 1-5- or 2.5-hour tour of the captivating Spanish capital. Glide through the vibrant streets of the city and see some of its most iconic landmarks on your futuristic machine; cruise past the Royal Palace, Plaza de Mayor and the Templo de Debod and listen to entertaining and educational commentary from your expert guide. Receive personalized attention from your guide on this small-group tour, where numbers are limited to 10.
What to Expect
Greet your guide and group at a central location in Madrid and listen to a comprehensive safety briefing before stepping onto your state-of-the-art Segway. Get to grips with the self-balancing machine and then, once you feel confident, set out to explore the sights.
Pass the impressive Almudena Cathedral on the way to the Palacio Real (Royal Palace), arguably Madrid’s most sophisticated structure; hear of the regal residence’s rich history and admire the gorgeous baroque façade and meticulously kept Sabatini gardens that surround the palace.
Next, glide over to the Templo de Debod, an ancient Egyptian temple that dates back to 400 BC; discover why Egypt deconstructed the temple and sent it as a gift to Spain in 1970 and then cruise through the renowned Plaza de España. Absorb the energetic atmosphere and note the sculpture of Spanish writer, Cervantes, in the center of the square before travelling to the social heart of Madrid.
Arrive at Plaza Mayor, a former center for royal festivities and bull fighting, and bid farewell to your guide and group amid the enticing restaurants and inviting shops of the square.

Better than I had expected

We had Carlos as our tour guide, who was excellent and very knowledgeable.. He gave us plenty of opportunities to take photos and didn't rush us one bit. To be completely honest, we wasn't very interested in the tour as much, we just was excited...More

Great tour guide in Luisi

Props to tour guide Luisi who helped my partner overcome her fear of riding on the Segway and basically held her Segway with his hand, in tandem with his own, through the whole ride. It was definitely above the call of duty. I am dinging...More

I booked it online and met the guide at the agreed location. I did see one or two shops where they sell tickets, one just off plaza major so you could always ask, I’m sure they are flexible with times.
