A good little coach tour that takes you to the major places in the south of Spain in a short time. The guided tours are organised well in each city. Cardoba and Ronda and Seville were very interesting and enjoyable, and the tours efficient. The coach was comfortable and clean. We only had a very short time in Toledo (1.5 hours?) which was disappointing considering the amount of time spent travelling. We would have preferred not to visit the metal 'factory' which seemed more of a shop. The hotels are good quality, except for the dinners (2 nights) at the Melia Lebreros which were inedible and seemed to be preprepared and not properly cooked. The last hotel was on the outskirts of Granada on a motorway making it difficult to get back in to town that evening and really no where nearby to eat. I don't think you could say it was in Granada proper but in a suburb. Overall, if Julia travel sorted out the meals at Seville, chose a better located hotel at Granada and omitted the metalwork shop this little tour would be really great. We chose the premium hotels by the way. I would give it 3.5 stars🙂

Our daughter is studying in Spain this semester, and she had a week off from classes. She met us in Madrid, and we started the six-day tour the next day. We were very fortunate that she is practically fluent in Spanish. The majority of the tour people were Spanish speaking. Our tour director, Lale, was lovely. She was warm and friendly, and her English was excellent. Each city that we visited was amazing. There was quite of bit of time spent "on our own." That's where we appreciated our daughter's language skills. We had two nights in Seville, and we were able to walk all around the city. The only disappointment was that we were there during Semana Santa (Holy Week), and the Cathedral was closed to the public. Watching the festivities and processions was fascinating, though. It was a bit difficult finding the bus area where the tour began. It is two levels below ground. We walked there the evening before departure to try to locate it. We chose the superior hotels. They were all terrific. The food was pretty good. We were surprised that no drinks were given with dinner. Not even water. Overall, we saw a lot in a short amount of time.

First hiccup was finding the meeting place , so ask questions before your departure, the bus is clean, modern and has usb for charging mobile. DO NOT count on WiFi in the bus .it’s non existent and they know it , they lie that it’s available. Our guide Begoña was pleasant and knowledgeable, but would not go the extra mile to give you an excellent experience, just okay. Córdoba and Sevilla had proper guided tour but had to pay and extra €105 per person to get a Flamenco activity and a river cruise (was not worth it and overpriced) Breakfast , dinner and hotel in Sevilla were very good and as described. We parted ways in Marbella , but visited the hotel and was very nice and good location.

Overall it was well organized. Our hotels and meals provided were excellent. We had a terrific tour guide Ismail during the tour. Ismail described the activities or town in great detail providing not only logistical details but also cultural or historical facts at each site or activity. We had excellent local guides as well.

A couple of minor complaints. One is that the bus always had to make 2 drop offs and 2 pickups each day. One for those staying at tourist class hotel and one for those who stayed at deluxe hotels. The time spent on drop off and pickup could have been used as free time. It would have been nice to have the whole tour group stay at one location. We had limited interaction with only those staying at the same hotel during free time. It would have added to the experience overall. In US or Canada tour members stay at the same hotel but stay in different room attributes ( bed sizes, etc). In spite of this we had a good time.

Pricing for any optional activities available during the tour should be provided to the customer at time of booking and not during the tour. Even if it's estimated price.

Overall I would rate it as a B+.

Great guide, Grace, spoke excellent English as well as native Spanish and was very pleasant and interesting.
Other travelers in our group were literally from all over the world and I very much enjoyed everything, from the bus ride to the individual tour guides to the food. I would go on more Viator tours and Julia Travel.

I am usually hesitant to put my travel fate into somebody else's hands but this tour seemed to offer everything I wanted to see in Spain and especially Andalucia. I must say I was impressed how well organized the process was from pick up to drop off. The guide was very good about keeping everyone informed and set expectations from the start. Every stop was amazing. Even though our tour guide on the bus was extremely knowledgeable about country and people we were still met by a local guide/specialist in every town to give the tour of Cordoba, Sevilla, Alhambra, Toledo and surroundings. Once the tours were concluded we had plenty of free time in all destinations to explore on our own. The hotels were all chosen well and very centrally located and allowed us to walk to reach restaurants, sights and shops on foot.
The food... there was so much food. Every hotel offered a dinner (either set or buffet) which was very good quality. The breakfast buffets were especially impressive! We tried to slow down on dinner and then explore neighboring bars for tapas and wine.

I would definitely recommend the tour. It was a great and relaxing way to see so many beautiful parts of Spain and learn so much of their culture and history. The price included transportation, accomodation, two meals per day and entrance to sights and guides. I thought it was a good bargain. Also, I recommend doing the pre and post day in Madrid. It makes the trip stress free and I was able to do most of my souvenir shopping on the last day before flying home!
