We chose Tommy because of all of his great reviews. We made the best choice and recommend Tommy 110%! We learned so much about Gibraltar's history and local culture. Our only regret was that we didn't have more time with Tommy. He is an expert at all his does, he is an excellent driver, history teacher, fun to visit with and most of all a great guy! We consider his tour to be among the very best we have ever been taken, world wide.

Wow, just WOW… Tommy was incredibly informative and personable. We immensely enjoyed the history of Gibraltar, the sites (Pillars of Hercules, St. Michael’s Cave, the Skywalk and Siege Tunnels) and the SIGHTS from the Rock (the interesting runway at the airport, the cemetery separating those buried there in their individual areas, by religion, the remains of the Arab fortifications, and the areas where land was “created”). And the Macau apes were fascinating! Very interesting stories!

Our guide Tommy was knowledgeable and friendly and shared his local expertise with great stops in the time we had. A wonderful experience!

We had a wonderful day seeing Gibraltar on this tour. Our guide for the day, Dennis, showed us all the main attractions so efficiently it was a fabulous way to see all the most interesting parts of the rock while avoiding any long walks and misdirection. Gibraltar is a large area and to see all the main highlights would otherwise require a lot of time and effort. This tour with a van ferrying you painlessly from st Michaels cave ( gorgeous) to the siege and WW2 tunnels , and to see the monkeys , as well as the fantastic views including pillars of Hercules and the glass walk way - it was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Cool tour for those interested in WWII history and general war history. Lots of great views and sights. The World War II and Great Siege tunnels were really interesting and the tour guides seem to treat the monkeys around the rock with care and respect. The cave systems are really neat too.

Tommy did a great job in all aspects, showed us the most relevant highlights and did it all with great engagement and enthusiasm!

Definitely the way to see and explore the Rock. Having your own guide, like Tommy, allows you to truly hear the history and culture of the historic place from the perspective of a local. Tommy was fantastic and never rushed us through any stop. His vast knowledge of Gibraltar’s past history and ongoing events made this tour such a wonderful experience. We cannot thank him enough for answering all of our questions! As for the Rock, it is a must see tour; see the cave, the tunnels, the skywalk views. We did the 2 hour tour and it was truly worth the cost. Highly recommend this tour when in Gibraltar!

I made reservations with Tommy from the USA months ahead. He was on time and ready to go. He took us to all the gibraltar sites and explained them. You want someone dependable when you have limited time.

We booked this tour of the rock with Tommy a few weeks before our cruise ship docked in Gibraltar: We arranged for him to collect us from the cruise docking station ( there were 8 of us - Nan grandad mum dad and 2 sets of twins aged 6 and 9. Tommy picked us up and was so knowledgeable and made it so much fun for the kids. His van came equipped with booster seats for the younger ones so no stress. His tour was great fun and after he dropped us in the town so we could do some shopping. I would night recommend this tour as it was the highlight of our cruise !

This review is long overdue, but I wanted to make sure that Thomas Redman and Gibraltar Sightseeing were acknowledged for an amazing, scenic and educational experience. My husband booked a private tour in Castmate Square and the tour did not disappoint. The van was clean and comfortable. Thomas, a native of Gibraltar, navigated the roads expertly while describing the background of sites visited: Pillars of Hercules, St. Michael's Cave, macaque monkeys and giant siege tunnels. We were wowed every moment of the tour! Tickets for admission were included and timing of visits to each site were perfectly orchestrated. Would highly recommend to friends and family.
