We buy the tickets in advance from their website, which saves you something and also reserves an entry time, which I imagine they control the capacity a bit.
The current works, how different from the classic museums!! Contemporary and very interesting art, it's a shame not to bring the phone headphones to listen to the audio guide that goes by QR.
An entertaining and original visit...now we hope they can grow and incorporate more works!

We were there spontaneously and didn't know what to expect. We had to buy our tickets on site with the Help center of a QR code placed next to the front door. There was no switch. Everything was smooth. In the building there is free Wi-Fi and a free audio guide, also available via QR code (language adjustable). This is worth it, not too much information and also not to every exhibit. We didn't need headphones because you can hold your phone right in place. After about 1-2 minutes (per image), the explanation is complete. When we only read 'Museum', we were skeptical whether our teenage son liked it. He was ultimately enthusiastic about the innovative exhibits, some of which were digital "pictures/films". The highlight was a light/mirror room. All in all, an unforgettable event where there are many modern masters to marvel at (Banksy, Haring, and much more). We took our time and were in the exhibition for about 1.5 hours. The building itself is very nice and the staff friendly. Toilets were available and clean.

This museum is not very large, located in the neighborhood of El Born, very nice neighborhood, for lovers of contemporary and modern art. Among the artists on display, famous names such as Banksy, Keith Haring, Yayoi Kusama and Andy Warhol stand out, alongside emerging talents who push the boundaries of traditional art. Another plus point is the focus on inclusiveness and sustainability, evident both in the choice of exhibitions and in the museum's practices. The cost of the ticket is £13.95 and children up to 17 years 9.95 , buying the ticket online, otherwise you pay 3 euros more. With the Barcelona card entry is free

The museum is not worth it at all, the tour is embarrassingly short, we were no more than 25 minutes. Most of the few "works" that are exhibited are terrible, without any artistic content. The entrance fee is practically 20 euros, a completely excessive price considering the content of the museum. It's not worth it at all, entry should be free or at a much lower price. It is a museum for tourists. I do not recommend going at all, taking into account that there are other REAL museums that are free, such as the MNAC, where you can find real works of art and much more on offer.

Premise: tickets taken in advance online. Arrived we enter them directly into the pay room. Small room with not prominent lights (did not give justice to the installations), few works with inconsistent descriptions. After less than 15 minutes we had already seen everything, in my opinion not at all engaging, I did not appreciate too much the arrangement of the works. After the tour of the room we try to understand if we could continue, but unfortunately there was no sign or indication. We then asked the staff who showed us the staircase to continue in the missing part of the museum which was the free one, much better than the paid one although not as full or immersive as you would expect from a museum.
If you happen to be in Barcelona and go there I recommend to go even for the free part to avoid extra expenses, given the considerable number of other museums in the city to visit.

This museum was a bit over priced for the little time it takes to get around the exhibitions. It was quite when I went so was easy to move around and see everything. I seen everything in little over an hour. I was most looking forward to the KAWS exhibition, but there was very little on display. The best part was actually the Robbie Williams exhibition, which was the one I was least interested to see. Staff where also not very helpful or knowledgeable when asking questions. There is also no baggage lockers on-site for those travelling.

This was one of the best places we visited whilst in Barcelona. There were 3 of us, 2 adults and a 15 year old. We saw it advertised at the airport and as we come from Bristol (the home of Banksy), love modern art and our daughter is doing art GCSE we felt it was a must. It's in the lovely El Born area, right opposite a place that puts on Flamenco shows (which we also went to). It cost £44 for all 3 of us and we bought the tickets online as they were cheaper. The museum itself isn't huge and as it was January that was good as it wasn't overcrowded. It's set on two floors. You can get an audio guide through the app but we didn't bother as there are explanations about the artist and their work on the walls. We all really enjoyed the Moco, a great selection of exhibits and some fab insta opportunities, if you're into that kind of thing. Our daughter loved it. We'd definitely recommend although the museum shop was a bit pricey for things like badges, postcards etc.

The museum’s collection is really quite small, and I left feeling distinctly unimpressed. The gift shop had some cool stuff, spend your money there rather than shelling out 15 quid to spend less than an hour browsing a small collection of modern art, which features an even smaller number of the ‘big names’ they advertise on the posters around the city.
You’re much better off paying a third of the price for one of the bigger and publicly funded museums that spend money on their art, rather than huge advertising campaigns directed at tourists who don’t know better.
The building itself is nicely done up though; that and the gift shop save it from a 1-star review.

The location, the building and the museum collection are very nice, although the collection is a little limited. There are some works by Banksy, Basquiat, Hare, Kaw, Dali and other artists. The light installation is beautiful and fun. But the comments on the plays are not so helpful and I thought they were a bit exaggerated as to how they challenged conventional assumptions about anything. I mean, the works sell for huge sums of money and you can buy replicas of them printed on bags at the gift shop. Everything becomes merchandise and is for sale, regardless of how "opposed" it claims to be. This is not a problem of MOCO, but of all museums under capitalism.

One of my favourite places from our trip! We had the best day visiting this gallery and really enjoyed all of the exhibitions- it exceeded my expectations.
Pleasantly surprised that the gift shop has some affordable options and we bought a few lovely little souvenirs to bring home and remind us of our great visit. We felt we had learnt something after visiting too, which felt rewarding.
Coming here made my heart full, and I left on a high. A great experience with my boyfriend as I was able to enthuse with him about my love of art!! Every member of staff that we spoke to was really nice too. :)
