About the operator
- robbiee29200AvoidAbsolute awful, DO NOT BOOK! Avoid at all costs and it’s a scam and a complete waste of time. It’s -5 stars. AVOID AVOID AVOID
- juliaemc00Don't even deserve one starWe thought that this activity was to be held by the beach with better conditions, but instead we were carted off in a van from Las Ramblas to the middle of nowhere, it very bad terrain, under a main road in Barcelona with no place to rest from the sun or bathroom facilities- we literally thought we were being trafficked at a point. The one litre of sangria/beer is also a lie - it is just a bin of lidl sangria and beer filled with ice and small plastic cups. With the bad area, the travelling there and back wasting time from the experience and the expensive price tag - this is a scam through and through. I would recommend this to no one unless you want to fear for your life.
- kittyo39900Do not recommend unless you want to lose your money. The lack of adequate communication was simply embarrassing, my friends and I flew all the way from Australia to experience a fun time in Barcelona. However the beer bike company failed to allow this seemingly exciting time to happen. The company cancelled 3 hours before our beer bike session was booked, and a month later we still haven’t received a refund. I would only recommend this experience if you love to be disappointed.
- 953ellaz00DO NOT BOOK UNLESS WANT TO BE CANNOT ADVANTAGE OFIn June we were supposed to attend a beer bike. Unfortunately the day before we were told that it was cancelled. We were not refunded nor offered any other option that met the same standards. We were not offered a refund, and post the cancellation have contacted the company multiple times for a refund but have been met with no response. Please do not book with this company unless you would like to be robbed
- S994LRroseb00Cancelled on us, but no Refund??They cancelled on us the day before, but we never got a refund and they never replied to my multiple attempts for communication about the refund process, even thought they Cancelled on US.
- Terry C00Terrible and dangerous.Bordering on dangerous! Do not book this. Dirty unready vans will whisk you away from barcalona to a sewage farm under the motorway, where you will Fisk your life on a clapped out home made bike, nothing like the one in the photos.
- 40kimberleyw00Where’s my refund? We didn’t even do the activityDue to bad weather we were unable to partake in the activity. We agreed to a refund of which we have not received. The customer services are now blanking us and have blocked our numbers therefore have no intention of giving us our money back. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
- Jessica D00Not as it appears in their photos - tourist trapBooked for a hen party assuming it would be around the city pulling pints from a cold keg… we were delayed by well over an hour and when we arrived at the meeting point we were told to get into vans to be brought to… a waste ground 20mins away which had some of the group concerned this would be the end of our lives. The experience consisted of broken or stiff bike chains, warm cans, bottled sangria from Lidl, spilled drink -> wet clothes -> sticky hands, pissing in bushes, rats spotted and the driver swapping roles to sit and drink 🍺 instead... the pot holes and uneven dirt track had the bike leaning more to one side and the fear of the bike toppling over was real!! What was supposed to be a quick hour from 7-8pm didn’t see us dropped back to the city till close to 11pm… tourist trap - don’t do it!!!
- LureMaster00Avoid, avoid, avoid !Simply awful. They need to update their sales literature. They imply you ride round the streets of Barcelona, but my understanding is they have been banned from the City. Instead you are taken to a waste piece of land under a motorway bridge, ride up and down for 30 mins, then driven back to the city. Avoid at all costs
- David J00This is simply the worst beer biking experience that I have ever endured! When booking this experience I believed that we would be pedalling around the streets of Barcelona. Instead, we were collected, 1 hour late, and driven some distance out of the city to an area of waste land under a flyover. On arrival we were greeted my a man who almost immediately apologised for the experience stating that he merely worked here. We eventually pedalled a very poorly maintained beer bike for a few hundred yards whilst being handed cans of Estrella and the cheapest Sangria out of a dustbin. At one point I genuinely feared that the beer bike would overturn due to the uneven dirt track we were riding along. After less than an hour we were driven back to the city by a driver who didn’t appear to care too much for his own life or ours and dropped off. When we challenged the driver (who we believed to be the boss) about the experience, he became quite nasty and then forgot how to speak English! In summary, this trip is clearly not as it is advertised and in fact represents a significant risk to your well-being in terms of very poorly maintained equipment. Avoid at all costs!!!
- parkera45200TERRIBLE DO NOT BOOK - AVOIDThis tour should be avoided at all costs. It does not take place in Barcelona, you are driven outside of the city to a dried up riverbed. The beer bike is badly maintained and there is no road or facilities to use. There is no scenery or anything to see, we were worried about our safety and the experience was terrible. This is completely false adverting and this business should not be allowed to continue. Please do not book a tour for a beer bike in Barcelona there are none in the city.
- janotterstein00Excellent experience!!The best experience you can do in Barcelona. I went in april with some frieds and it was amathing. Thanks to Pol and David!!
- 998tereser00Avoid at all costs- fake advertisingWe booked the beer bike for my friends hen party weekend and I would NOT recommend to a friend. The driver didn’t speak English and pointed to the taxi in front when we were driven wayyyy outside of the city and I asked where we were going. When we eventually pulled into a slipway and under a motorway bridge we saw an abandoned car. Many of the girls honestly thought we had been kidnapped and had terrifying ideas of our fate. The route itself was an uneven dirt path and only two of the pedals worked. Nothing scenic about it. We had a great playlist and a good group of girls which helped to salvage the experience but in general I would Avoid avoid avoid
- TheCattster00Honest reviewIf you go on one tour when in Barcelona make sure this is it.....NOT Badly represented, misleading advertising. Awful bike with only 4 sets of pedals working. Serious risk of it overturning on the uneven surfaced. Estrella from a dustbin and the cheapest sangria around. No facilities, kept waiting around for minibus transfer (drivers are reckless). The experience area was filthy, littered, graffiti strewn.
- W2021CDjamesb00If the stars were S#|+, I’d give it 10!It was that $#|+ it was good. Tour guide was a top lad, bike was awful. We got beers from a bin and cycled down a dirt track. Would not recommend

This tour is a criminal activity.
1) Despite the photos, you will not be in the centre of Barcelona because they are not licenced. You will be taken to a dirt track under an underpass.
2) We were asked for 10€ each for unlimited drink. They supplied 2 cases of Estrella Damn (max 48€ in total).
3) The 'beer bike' broke down and we ended up having to push it back as the operators don't know how to put a chain on properly.
4) They purposely double book people in order to ask for more money.
5) They ignore

We had such a good time. Margot was amazing! They were very organized, we received email telling us of the route and we were allowed to cancel two weeks prior to the booking. We had prosseco, played games and had such a laugh. Gracias Margot!!!!! The route wasn't too easy but it made it more fun! Would definitely book again! X

This experience was simply herendous! We arrived 3 mins late due to traffic in Barcelona and the driver refused to take us on the experience. It was disgusting. He was rude, horrible and unhelpful he even swore at us as a group of young girls many times. He had already made his mind up He was not going to take us the trip probably didn't even exist! Just an excuse they used to blame us on being 3 mins late. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!

Let me just preface this review by saying, had I known I'd be writing my own rendition of a low-budget Spanish "Mad Max" sequel, I would have charged admission. Gather round, readers, and prepare for a tale of wheeled woes and warm brews.
Upon reaching the meeting point, we found ourselves marooned in Barcelona for a whopping hour, devoid of beer bikes, let alone an ounce of fun. Our anticipation gradually fizzled into annoyance as we envisioned our frothy adventures taking place within the iconic cityscape. Instead, our caravan to disillusionment arrived in the form of a minibus that had clearly done its time on the road, bearing more resemblance to an artifact from a post-apocalyptic movie than a reliable mode of transport.
Our 'scenic route' consisted of a 30-minute joyless journey through the outskirts of the city. We ended up in a place so arid, even tumbleweeds refused to make an appearance. We were dumped alongside a river that seemed to have taken an extended vacation, leaving behind a barren riverbed.
Here, our steed awaited – the beer bike. Yet this was not the gallant charger depicted in their glossy promotional images. It was a contraption that looked like it would require a tetanus shot pre-ride. Our supposed ‘tour’ consisted of moving up and down a stunningly dull 300-yard stretch of riverbed. Forget pedaling through the streets of Barcelona, we were competing for space with errant lizards and tumbleweeds!
Now, onto the beer. Ah, the promise of chilled beer served on a silver platter (or a bike in our case)! Our dreams were instead unceremoniously crushed by warm, presumably discount, beer cans and bottles of what they dared to call ‘sangria.’ Served from a dustbin no less! A dustbin! It’s like they were hell-bent on infusing every possible nuance of the word ‘rubbish’ into our experience.
To add to our growing list of woes, our driver, who seemed to have confused his role with that of a participant, was getting steadily inebriated on our discount sangria. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we were subjected to a dizzying repetitive route, helmed by a driver who was swaying more than steering!
The ‘highlight’ of our trip came when we, out of sheer desperation for entertainment, resorted to a thrilling game of “throw stones at a metal post.” Not only did it provide a welcome distraction from the monotonous pedaling, it also helped us vent our frustration with each satisfying ‘thunk.’
In conclusion, unless your idea of a good time involves warm beer, desert-like landscapes, inebriated drivers, and dusty riverbeds, I'd recommend steering clear of this catastrophe on wheels. It was more of a Tour de Farce than a tour de force. Avoid at all costs. This scam made me yearn for the mundane tranquillity of watching paint dry. At least then, the disappointment would be less bubbly!

In a nutshell this experience was not as advertised so book at your peril.
It was so so bad that it was actually funny and we ended up having a laugh.
Full details below ...
CONS
- the experience is advertised as a scenic trip down the river Besos when in reality you are taken to a dirt track next to an underpass. Entrance to the site is akin to something out of a horror film, so much that the host already has a kidnap joke prepared.
- you are then plonked on a bike which has clearly seen better days. The chains were hanging off and seats drier than the ‘River Besos’ itself
- once on the bike you think for a moment that at least the route will be downhill. It’s not. The bike is very tough to pedal and the experience exhausting. We were a group of 6 healthy guys and struggled, stopping every few minutes (if that). Even a tank would struggle with this terrain, let alone a bike that sounds like it will fall apart any second
- you pedal 100m or so before you encounter a warning side that translates to ‘Vaccine Genocide’. There is a man outside a caravan revving a chainsaw (this is not a joke). The host decides this is a good spot to get out and play a drinking game (Spoiler Alert: the game is hold hands in teams and drink beers from the floor)
- at the sign you then turn back but you don’t pedal. You have to stay off the bike and help the hosts push it round in a U turn.
- You think to yourself that the way back will at least be a little smoother. It’s not, it’s even worse. So much worse that in fact the bike essentially gets stuck due to ‘stiff brakes’. At this point your host will run to his car and comically attempt to reverse all the way to the bike, snaking a trailer across the rough terrain.
- you will then be towed back to your starting spot which is actually quite nice because your legs are so screwed from attempting to pedal a broken bike in the beating sun
- once home you think that’s it but you’re in for a final surprise. A herd of sheep (see picture) will descend on the tracks, their bells will clunk, dogs will bark. The whole thing is chaos. In the midst of it all the host will try and get the bike fully on its trailer. A shepherd with no teeth will appear behind his flock. He will then help your host get it on in exchange for a beer.
- the end
PROS
- Javi and Andrea our hosts were genuinely lovely. They also went out of the way to drop us at the Nou Camp in time for the football and gave us some takeaway beers. We do not blame them in anyway as we understand they are not the owners of this fake business
- the whole experience was like being in a comedy sketch with all your friends which is quite funny
