We loved this tour. At the last minute, my friend and I decided to arrange a private tour of the Seville Cathedral. We also wanted to include Real Alcazar but all of the tickets were sold out for the day. The manager was very kind and spoke with the tour guide who offered to swap out Real Alcazar with La Casa de Pilatos. Our tour guide met us outside of the Cathedral and walked us around the grounds, giving us an education on the background of the Cathedral and the surrounding area. She walked us inside, skipping all of the lines, and she took us room by room to talk about the relics and the art found inside. She was thorough and informative, giving us more information and a better experience than if we had tried to do it on our own. The Cathedral is gorgeous and definitely not to be missed while in Seville. When we finished with the Cathedral, we climbed the tower. Be warned that it is 34 floors high and takes a while to climb with everyone lining up in the staircase to get to the top. The top of the tower is very small with everyone trying to pack in to see the views of the city. It was very much worth the climb. Our tour guide took us around to each opening and showed us different places in the city, describing the history as we went. Since we had to skip Real Alcazar, she took us to Pilato Palace which was less busy and just as beautiful. She took us from room to room to describe the history and art in each room. I'm sure Real Alcazar would have been a great place to visit, but we didn't feel cramped or overrun with other tourists in Pilato Palace. It was a great choice to replace Real Alcazar. She walked us around the Jewish Quarter and much of the city, showing us the beauty and history behind many of the buildings. At the end of our tour, she dropped us at a great little restaurant to have a late lunch/early dinner. Overall, this was a fantastic tour and I loved that it was private. We were able to meander around the city as she talked and showed us her favorite places without working with other people in our group.

On our last day in Barcelona we journeyed up to Parc Guell for a private tour with Montserrat. We loved her! She was charming and engaging and clearly knew the area. The tour was just the right length for us and understanding the history behind the site made it that much more meaningful. One point to clarify is that the private tour includes a pickup at the hotel but return transportation is not included. We would definitely use LivTours again and I've already recommended the company to friends traveling to Rome.

We just finished the most amazing VIP Private Gaudi Tour of Barcelona with our guide, Olga Escribano. Olga has an extraordinary in depth knowledge of history, art, architecture in Barcelona and the surrounding area. Her insight provided so much depth into Gaudi, his times and his creative process. When come back in 2030 for the opening of the Sagrada Familia we will be absolutely sure to have Olga as our guide. She is a delight. Her command of English was outstanding.

If you do one thing in Barcelona, this is it! We had an all day tour of everything Gaudi. Our tour guide, Jordi, was so personable and incredibly knowledgeable. He was able to show us Gaudi’s personal, spiritual, social and artistic journey through his incredible works of architecture. It was the highlight of our trip, and I gained so much from the experience. I highly recommend!

We actually did the Montserrat tour. This tour in itself was worth the trip to Spain! Alfredo was our guide, and he made the day so special. His knowledge of history, combined with his wonderful demeanor, made the visit truly spectacular. We loved Montserrat so much that we extended our stay. Liv Tours was incredibly accommodating, too! I highly recommend!

We had an excellent time on our tour of the Sagrada Familia. Our guide, Valentina, was super knowledgeable, extremely friendly and kind and funny that made our time together fly by. The background and history was very in depth and she made sure to point out many details we would have missed if we didn’t have her as our guide. She gave just the right amount of time at every stop and explanation and always answered our questions to the best of her ability. In between the facts and history, we were able to laugh and make our experience unique. She also never rushed us during the tour as if we had to be under a set amount of time and she was so kind to have waited for us after we got our time wrong and rushed to make it. Good thing we were able to get in and didn’t miss out on this incredible experience! If you are lucky enough to be under Valentina’s care, trust you are in great hands!
