Great day trip easy to navigate
Great place to visit for a day out. We got the bus down from salou took roughly 25 mins. Got the bus across the road from McDonald's down at the beach front. Stay on the bus to the end where you will get off at the main station. Main station is a the centre of town which is great we turn left and walked for 5mins to the main shopping mall it even had a primary. After that we went back to the round about and took the 3rd street on the right and went up to the main attractions. Lovely statues and great views at the top at the balcony. Had a coffee and kids chilled with an ice cream, was great watching the rustle and bustle while enjoying a coffee. Stayed around 5 hrs then walked back to the main bus station checked for a bus heading back to salou and there was one every 25 mins. Only took 15mins to get back to salou. Great day out, we had a 6 year old child and a teenager. Shops are cheaper than salou as your out of the tourist area.

      Such a good tour guide
Elisabet was so good, I ahve been to la sagrada familia before alone without a tour guide and I thought it was really cool. Wasn't sure that the tour would be worth it but OMG it was so good!! If you have the money, I def recommend it.

Excellent Private Tour - Elisabet is an Amazing Guide
Elizabet is an amazing guide! She is knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging. I was able to reach her on WhatsApp the night before our tour, and she responded quickly to confirm the exact location of our meeting place. She was early, and started our tour right away. She always took her time, and answered all of our questions. We learned so much, and walked away really appreciative of her and of La Familia Segrada. Not sure why she doesn't have more reviews. We highly recommend that you book this tour!

Nice discovery at close walking range from Las Ramblas
This is the old town similar to some old districts like the Marais in Paris or also Quartier Lain. You will enjoy the atmosphere, walking safe in narrow streets with old stone houses and here and there some nice fashion Catedral de Barcelona surges in front of you.

      Can't miss this tour!
Eduardo was so knowledgeable and the tour was just perfect. Being picked up at our accommodations made this tour even easier. This is a can't miss tour.

100 stars - beyond amazing! A true gem
Most amazing guide we’ve ever had, anywhere in the world! Elisabet has an incredible positive energy, very passionate and knowledgeable! More importantly, amazing with our kids. She made us feel like family… we did the tour in French and it far exceeded all expectations!

      Absolutely perfect tour by Elisabeth!
Elisabeth was an amazing tour guide during our visit to Sagrada Famiglia. She promptly met us at the designated time and whisked us off to our tour. She offered information about Barcelona and neighborhood communities as we ventured via taxi to our destination. Upon arrival we skipped the long lines and briefly waited in line before entering the ground level of the building. She went over (in detail) every intricate detail about the structure and it’s origins. Elisabeth was engaging, insightful and passionate about the history and culture of Barcelona and the famous Sagrada Famiglia. The tour would not have been as enjoyable had we gone alone and without a guide. I highly recommend securing a guide in advance and perhaps with Elisabeth. She was the best

      Fantastic experience
My husabnd and I really really enjoyed a wonderful day tour with pleanty of time for lucnh. We wre sorry we did not stay here in Tarragona instead ogf Barcelona s it was not nearly as busy, much cheaper restaurants/bars, more to see ( from our point of view) , less homelessness and beggars , and the list goes on. Lots to see on way there and it was a real gem of an experience. Antonio our guide was very informative and helpful but was untidy and poorly presented which was a little disappointing.

The MOST HORRIBLE tour guide we have ever used in over 30 countries!
We had the utter displeasure of having Elisabet Morera (private guide #GT-000840) as our guide during our tour in Barcelona last summer and she was hands down the worst tour guide we have ever used (and we've traveled to over 30 countries and used private guides in each, so we've seen our fair share of private guides!).  I've been wanting to leave her a review ever since our terrible experience but I could not find her anywhere (that should have been my first clue of what was to come!).  Now I see she is on TripAdvisor and can finally report my dreadful experience with her.  I created an account just to leave this review, so that should tell you how bad it was as I feel a responsibility to warn others so that they don't make the same mistake I did. During our tour she was completely dull, boring, distracted, uninteresting, and whenever we asked her to go more in-depth, she just kept things superficial which gave us the impression that she didn't fully know what she was talking about.  She was on her phone for most of the tour instead of engaging with us, presumably either because she had to read about what we were about to see next or she was distracted with something else.  She sucked out all of our enthusiasm for Barcelona.  To add insult to injury, she was quite dismissive of my kids, and that's a BIG no-no.  I can't even say she was "nice" because she was quite rude at times and not just with us, but even with the staff at the places we visited (for example, we had invited her to lunch and paid for her, and she was rude to the waitress, who does that??).  The only positive is that she was punctual.  That's literally it.  We even paid for skip the line tickets to Gaudi's Sacred Familia church and STILL had to wait when we got there. Reading her Bio here and seeing that her actual work experience is with an "industrial company" and that she only started guiding after a self-described "midlife crisis" makes TOTAL sense!  She's not fit to be a guide.  Period.  Seriously, get ANY other guide but her in Barcelona and you'll have a better experience than we did!!  It's been 7 months now and I still think about how we wasted our money and how she ruined Barcelona for my family (and it was supposed to be the highlight of our vacation in Europe).  Ugh!! It would have been better value for money if we had just flushed the several hundreds of euros we paid her down the toilet and toured Barcelona ourselves WITHOUT her!

      Excellent Tour Guide
Elisabet is one of the best tour guides I've ever experienced! She is friendly and knowledgeable. We had a two hour tour of the Sagrada Familia Basilica, and we thoroughly enjoyed the church, and our tour guide.

Excellent tour which included little know areas of the Sagrada Familia
Disappointed in other tours which do not spend enough time inside and usually ignore the museum. This tour had an excellent guide, enough guide time to explore all areas inside and out and left to spend more time by ourselves. Guide picked us up at the ship and started teaching on the way!

An Amazing Feat, Made More interesting by the Tour
There are so many things to see in Barcelona, but the Sagrada Familia is the one must-see. I had done some reading about it before I went, but wanted learn as much as I could while there. Since I wanted to really experience it instead of being rushed through by some canned group tour, I splurged on this private tour. I'm glad that I did. The operator was very nice in logistics before-hand and my guide, Gemma, was lovely! Dedicated to being a professional guide, Gemma was pleasant, informative and patient. And having her to myself meant we could pace ourselves as we wished. I arrived at the site an hour early so I could do a slow walk around it first, taking a lot of pictures and noticing all I could. That meant that, when I met up with Gemma, we were able to get into more detail. We had to be sure to enter within the official "timed entry" and having seen so much outside before we met up made that easier. One more point. There were a lot of people at the temple - and I was there in the end of November. I can't imagine how crowded it would have been in the summer! Go on the "off" season!

      Sagrada Familia
Met our guide Julia as outlined in the “no ticket” advice. She was wonderful and took us around this marvellous building giving a full explanation of all of the aspects and answering all questions! It is a magnificent site and when finished in 2026 (🤞) it will be another wonder of the world! So much to take in, we were there for over 5 hours. Great value for money and FULLY RECOMMEND! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

      A Must See
Beautiful! During the summer months very hot. Dont be tricked into buying a shawl or something to cover your shoulders (women). The tour company said you must have something in order to enter. That was a scam.

      Elisabet is highly recommended
My brother and I traveled to Barcelona in July and a tour of the Sagrada Familia was high on our to-do list. Our travel agent booked Elisabet Morera as our tour guide which turned out to be an inspired choice as our tour experience was fantastic. Our available time was limited and neither of us had been to Barcelona before so Elisabet offered to meet us at our hotel and take us to and from the cathedral in a taxi which sorted out the travel logistics nicely. From the start, Elisabet presented as a very friendly but professional guide as she pointed out and explained key aspects of the city on the way to the cathedral. We had minimal Spanish but Elisabet's English is excellent, so her commentary throughout the tour was easy to understand and engaging. Her depth of knowledge regarding the Sagrada Familia and Gaudi is both extensive and impressive. My brother and myself were astounded at the majesty of the cathedral and Gaudi's vision for it (especially the interior) and asked a lot of questions - Elisabet answered every one in detail and without hesitation. In addition, her commentary went far deeper than just describing the obvious points of interest and we left with a deep respect not only for Gaudi and the architects and fine craftsmen and women interpreting his vision but also for Elisabet herself. If you're travelling in Barcelona and want a guide, I recommend Elisabet very highly! Laurie
