My husband and I really loved this experience! It was one of our favorite activities of our whole trip to Spain. The hike was challenging, but not too difficult, and the views were spectacular. Our guide, Stephan was excellent! He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I also appreciated that he sent several messages prior to the trip, with tips to help us be best prepared, i.e, bring a rain jacket, sunscreen, etc. There were six additional people in our group, and it was fun chatting with others and hearing about their travel experiences and where they were from. If you enjoy active experiences and getting away from the city, I highly recommend this tour. I also thought the price was excellent, considering the value and quality of the experience.

Stepan and Foivos were excellent guides! We learned so much from Stepan and Foivos helped to take us around when Stepan dealt with traffic / parking. The views were breathtaking and so memorable!

We loved our day in Montserrat with Stepan! We had a great time hiking and learning more about the history of the mountain. We loved that this was a hike focused tour, compared to all the other day trips offered to Montserrat. Stepan adapted the pace to our level and we were able to see so much! The trip to Montserrat was one of the best experiences in Barcelona. I would like to thank our guide Stepan, who was absolutely amazing. We got to the place very comfortably and learned a lot of new information as well. We walked through beautiful countryside and we even had the opportunity to choose the route that was most appealing to us as a small group. The group was led in English, but since we don't speak the language very well, the guide told us quite a bit of information in Czech as well, which was a great surprise for us. If anyone wants to experience a relaxing trip, with beautiful hiking, incredible views and amazing atmosphere with the best guide, let them choose this tour. The best guide you can find in the Barcelona area!

Excellent experience, incredible views! Stepan is an easy going person, told us many interesting stories while we did hiking. The ways are quite simple, we were not exhausted, not even so tired. Afterwards we visited the basilica and tried some local delicious products on the market.

I 100% recommend the Montserrat trip with Stepan. From the moment we met him at the meeting point, we knew we were in great hands. He was knowledgeable and very accommodating. He let the group decide our hiking comfort level and shared a lot of interesting facts along the way. The snacks at the end were a lovely treat. We would go on another adventure with him for sure!

We booked a tour with world adventure and it did not disappoint, Stepan picked us up right on time in the centre of Barcelona and the bonus point is there were only two of us hiking with Stepan that day it became our private tour somehow. Stepan explained thoroughly what kind of route options and what to expect and let us tailored our own hiking experience, along the way he explained to us the history of Montserrat, and introduced us the herbs and plants along the way, it was an really fun and interesting experience hiking with Stepan. He even told us the amusing Catalan Christmas's tradition of Caga Tió, and we were able to spot one the same night in the city. Highly recommend to book a tour with world adventure for the hike in Montserrat, you would not regret it !

All respect for Stepan, who does a great job there - a true sample of excellent tour host! The tour more than met our expectations. Pick up right on time, lots of informed commentary. It is not often that you get so much nature and history in one trip, overall this was the perfect mix. Stepan took us around Montserrat and the mountains showing a complete understanding of challenging history of Catalonia. He had plenty of options and let us choose how we spent the day and how strenuous it would be. Definitely a highlight of our trip. A “must do” tour! :)

I went on the 'Small Group' Top Montserrat Hike and it turned out that the group really was small - only one person, me! It was a great oportunity to get out of the city for a day and explore this amazing location that is so important for the Catalan people. If you are lucky and catch a clear day, the peak offers a breathtaking 360 view of the Pyrenees, the Mediterranean sea, towns, hills and other mountain ranges around Montserrat. Stepan was a great guide and a really friendly person. He made sure I was alright at all times and I feel like I learned a lot from him about the history of Monserrat and its significance to the people of Catalunya. I recommend this experience and any of the other experiences offered by Stepan!
