- 366debl00Ask for AdrianMontserrat is a must see! Adrian made the day extra special with his warm and friendly demeanor as well as his knowledge of the history and details of Montserrat. He was timely in picking us up at our hotel and dropping us off. We highly recommend Barcelona Y Day Trips!
- nancyvT3800VW00Must do!!I am so grateful we were able to book this private tour with Adrian as our guide!! In my opinion, this is the best way to see Montserrat, especially if you would like to see the Black Madonna and hear the boys’ choir — as you don’t need to worry about the logistics of getting the special tickets & timing everything, nor transportation. Adrian was the perfect guide - you can tell he is a seasoned professional as he handles all the little details in such an expert way. His stories and knowledge elevated our Montserrat experience! We were lucky enough to ride the funicular and see the ending of a special mass as well. Adrian was so professional and courteous - you will absolutely be lucky to take this tour! He also took some beautiful photos for us so we could remember this day. Montserrat is so gorgeous. Everything including booking was seamless.
- 799tonias00Fantastic Experience!Amazing day, and our guide Adrian was fantastic! We enjoyed our entire experience from the moment he picked us up, he was very professional and made sure that our trip was memorable.
- bti1700Great Trip to Girona and Costa BravaThe day with Adrian was great. He had great communication, was prompt, knowledgeable, and very friendly.
- Explore32106100Montserrat with Adrian is a MUST!Adrian was an amazing and thoughtful guide! So helpful with facts and knowledge of the area but equally kind about taking family photos for us with the most amazing backgrounds. We look forward to returning and asking for Adrian…he’s the best!
- stephaniesC6658TV00A lovely visit to Montserrat! We had a lovely visit to Montserrat! Adrian was an excellent guide. Not only was he very knowledgeable about Montserrat itself, but he also answered the many questions that we had about Barcelona in general during our drive up. We were sad to learn that the boys choir was on vacation during our visit, but the rest of the experience was truly wonderful. Thank you again, Adrian!
- salmana29700Absolutely excellentAdrian was great. He is the best guide we have had in Spain. He was on time, very informative and gave us plenty of space without the unnecessary jokes and other soft selling that comes with using guides.
- Chxmd00Day trip from BarcelonaMonserrat is a quick day trip from Barcelona, and worth the drive! Adrian had some of the best reviews on TripAdvisor for a tour guide on our trip. He didn’t disappoint. Full of information and getting us to the right places at the right time Adrian was wonderful. From a impromptu cheese tasting, catching the end of Benedictine mass in Catalonian, to even telling us where to sit on the funicular for the best view Adrian was spot on. Boys choir was home for summer break, but the company notified us of this well in advance. I guess we will have to come back!
- Srbaudee00Great Family TripMy in laws and my husband and I really enjoyed our trip to MontSerrat! It is really beautiful. Our tour guide was so very nice and knowledgeable. He picked us up from two different hotels in a very nice van that was comfortable for all six of us. The ride was very pleasant and he shared a lot about the area and its history with us on our drive to and from Montserrat. We couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience thanks to Adrian!
- Nancyac3700A terrific day at Montserrat!!My husband, young adult daughter and I had a wonderful day touring Montserrat with Adrian as our guide. He picked us up at our hotel and we were transported in a very comfortable 3 row Mercedes vehicle. It was such a treat to have a comfortable ride to and from our destination. Adrian is a kind gentleman who filled us in on all relevant history of Barcelona and Montserrat. He was very patient with all my questions too which was kindly appreciated :) Having explored on our own and also being part of a large group tour excursion to Toledo earlier in the week, the one on one attention was helpful and felt like a luxury. Adrian’s knowledge of the history related to Montserrat is vast and provided a very helpful backdrop to seeing the sights. One particular highlight was having front row access to the boys choir which was a lovely ending to our day. I highly recommend this day trip and with Adrian leading the way, you are in competent hands for safe transport with a knowledgeable and kind guide at the wheel! While this was a bit of a splurge for our vacation, it was worth the time, attention and easy access to the Black Madonna, boys choir and related sights. Thank you, Adrian for a great day!
- X4414TNpattim00Trip of a lifetime! The Girona / Costa Brava trip was one of a kind! Our tour with Adrian was such a pleasure. He is an expert in his field and the kindest person :) We could not believe our eyes to see the most beautiful scenery and really enjoyed Adrian’s history telling in Girona. Highly recommend!!
- Patrick C00Adrian was awesome. Knowledgeable, prepared, friendly and a joy to be around. Excellent tour and great guide.Adrian was awesome. Knowledgeable, prepared and excellent at his craft. A joy to be around. Great site. Highly recommend Adrian and this tour.
- mlm051100Fantastic service from Adrian of Barcelona y Day TripsMonserrat is amazing! This was a second trip to Montserrat for my husband and I, and the first for our friends. We had a wonderful day! Our tour guide was Adrian from Barcelona y Day Trips , and he was excellent! He picked us up in a spotlessly clean and fresh-smelling Mercedes minivan. Great communication the day before the trip. He asked what we wanted to see, and if we had any special requests. I noted that one of my friends and I are prone to motion sickness. I was aware that the road up to the top of the mountain is winding. I asked him to drive especially slowly for us, and he did so both up and down the mountain despite cars passing us impatiently. I couldn’t have asked for more consideration. He was very flexible in terms of what we wanted to do while we were there. He already had all of the tickets for our admissions for the various activities lined up and assisted us with skip the line entry for the Monastery and the boys choir. We had good seats for the boys choir and very much enjoyed it since we had missed it last August on our first trip as they do not perform in August. We had a beautiful clear day and really enjoyed the views and a hike to the cross and were able to have time to see the museum and the shops. I texted him when we were ready per his instructions and he was right there within five minutes to pick us up at the designated location. Driving there and back, he had wonderful insights on anything we asked and the many sights that he showed us. I would highly recommend this private group tour if you want control over your day and do not want to ride in a bus with a large group of strangers.
- betsydalyv00This Private Tour is a MUST DOAdrian was our private tour guide today. We booked the private tour from Barcelona to Girona and Costa Bravo. This was a family trip (mom, dad, two 20 year old daughters). It was approximately 10 hours long from hotel pick up to drop off. I couldn’t say enough good things about the trip or Adrian. He was punctual, attentive, smart, and he really knew the ins and outs of Girona and Costa Bravo. The trip was fun and informative. He made a reservation for us to eat lunch as a family in Costa Bravo. The restaurant was perfect. He picked a great table and the service and food were wonderful. Adrian was also our personal family photographer which was very thoughtful. We created beautiful family memories on this day trip and it was in great part due to the tour guide himself. The girls haven’t stopped talking about it and my husband said it was the best tour we’ve taken so far on our trip. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.
- Rochelle F00Best Tour CompanyThis tour was very smooth in planning. Samuel was communicative each time I had a question. I was traveling with a mobility scooter and he put my mind at ease. He told me everything would be arranged so I could access the Black Madonna even though I had mobility issues. A day or 2 before the trip, my tour guide, Adrian reached out to confirm all my details. Adrian arrived before time to pick me up, had a comfortable MPV that fit my scooter and he loaded it on. He explained and stopped a few places along the way for photos. He took care of everything, spoke to people who worked there and got access to take pics before it was our turn to see the Black Madonna. He had tickets for us to see the choir and we sat up front and had an amazing view. He gave us two medals, one for the Madonna and one for the choir. He got us to the gift shop. Adrian was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable. He even gave us a recommendation on a place to eat. On my next trip to Barcelona, I will be using this company again for another tour. They were the best I have had in Barcelona. Book them you will not be disappointed. Also, If you have a mobility issue they were amazing.

I reached out with just a few days' notice to find if additional or custom tours were possible, as several were not available during my short visit to Barcelona. Samuel in customer service quickly and professionally responded and arranged a custom tour for Three Countries in a Day, and it was a delight.
The tour guide, Adrian, was kind, professional, knowledgeable, interesting, and very responsive throughout the whole tour. His personal knowledge of and connections in both Bagá and Au-Les-Thermes was impressive and added flavor to the tour in those towns and along the way.
Adrian also made the trip into and throughout Andorra meaningful and interesting, sharing interesting history, natural locations of beauty, and the big city feel of Andorra Le Verra.
I world highly recommend this tour, this company, and especially Adrian as the guide.

What a fantastic experience! So glad we booked the private tour! Our guide Adrian was wonderful and accommodated our requests. He was more a local friend than tour guide, and he made a long day of driving and sight-seeing an incredible family trip to remember, (one that even our 7 year old enjoyed). One of the highlights was being able to switch out an activity that suited us better. Since we weren't much into shopping, we requested to visit the ski resort in Andorra, and were able to take rides on the Magic Gliss, an incredible slide down the side of the mountain with breathtaking views. It made my kid's entire trip! Adrian helped us locate the correct entrance, helped us purchase the necessary tickets to the lift, and sent us on our way. At each of the stops he helped us take family photos that are now going to be a part of our memory books. Upon leaving Andorra, he even helped us secure passport stamps to the delight of the little one whose brand new passport is now being filled along with memories of this amazing trip. This is a tour I highly recommend! Thank you, Adrian!

We have done many tours/excursions & this was by far our favorite - thanks due to our incredible guide Adrian! He drove just our family in a van to all 3 countries and completely spoiled us with taking photos, opening doors, and sharing tons of knowledge. His restaurant choices for our breakfast & lunch were fantastic & we enjoyed all of his selected stops along the way with gorgeous views. Would give this experience & Adrian way more than 5 stars if we could!

It was perfectly executed and planned by Adrian. He picked up from our hotel on time at 8:30 and it was completed private tour for my family (2 adults and 2 kids 12/8 years old) only. His vehicle was big enough to have 6 passengers and most important it is very neat, clean and well maintained. Adrian was very knowledgeable about his trip and well English speaker. He was not rush at any point to complete trip and gave enough time to take pictures (also he took many great pics), provide suggestion to get great vegetarian food in Andorra la villa, also found snow fun for kids in Andorra etc. He covered all places as per itinerary and provided enough history, current info. Even my kids enjoyed his conversion about place and history while trip. We enjoyed walking in Andorra da Villa old town with him. He somehow kind of knew that my kids loves to have country stamps they visit, so finally he took his little effort to have all of us passport stamped while leaving from Andorra. Through trip, we never felt that we were going with some alien at all. We had great conversion through out 11-12 hours. At last he dropped us on La Ramblas street for shopping before we departed next day from Barcelona.

Adrian was a fabulous guide, very kind and knowledgeable he knew the best local stop for breakfast and lunch. We were on a private tour that was really expensive but worth it to just be the two of us and our guide. Adrian was very informative but didn’t ramble on it was a nice balance of information and time to just enjoy the scenery. Guide knew best spots for nice photos. Andorra 🇦🇩 was not as picturesque as we had hoped, lots of construction and modern buildings but we are glad we did it and really would highly recommend our guide Adrian.

My family of 6 have just had a fabulous time travelling with Adrian from Barcelona-Y-day-trips. 3 countries in one day may sound like just a marketing tag line but the experience was made truly genuine and enjoyable by Adrian’s personal
touches and lively delivery. Breakfast and lunch were both memorable. The stories were fascinating in a way only a good story teller could deliver. A truly enjoyable and memorable day trip

This trip was the unexpected highlight of our time in Barcelona. What really made it special was our guide, Adrian, who was incredibly knowledgeable about the region. Adrian took such good care of us, and really listened to our family and found stops that corresponded with our interests, and informed us of so many historical and cultural things that were of specific interest to us. Besides just breathtaking views of the Pyrenees, a stop in a fascinating Medieval village, great food, and wonderful sight-seeing in Andorra, we felt really taken care of, educated, AND we had a great time.
The lunch of aged beef that we cooked ourselves on a hot stone was awesome, and unexpectedly meeting a puppet-maker and touring his workshop in Baga were highlights.

We had an excellent trip with Adrian to Andorra from Barcelona. From the beginning of the trip to the very end, Adrian ensured we were all comfortable and having a good time. Adrian is so knowledgeable about all the sights on the tour. We loved hearing about the history of the Spanish towns, Pyrenees Mountains, and Andorra. It was clear how passionate Adrian is about this tour route and how much he enjoys sharing his stories and facts with others. We experienced some unexpected traffic at the beginning of our day and Adrian never once made us feel rushed at any of the stops. Adrian even encouraged us to take our time walking around old town Andorra during our last stop. There were three of us in our party: my wife, our 1 year old son, and myself. Adrian let us know we could change the schedule or add any stops needed if our son needed a break from all the driving. This day trip was the highlight of our trip!

Best tour and guide we had in our trip! Adrian did an amazing job on the tour, stopped at the best spots, and found great restaurants for us. Everyone in our group had dietary restrictions and Adrian called ahead to make sure each of us could have something at the restaurants he selected. Adrian customized the tour and told us the historical context of what we saw along with the more contemporary details. The car was also extremely comfortable. We had a great time on the tour and left with awesome memories and photos. We wanted to thank Adrian for the amazing tour and experience.
As we were wrapping up the tour, we told Adrian that we were in Barcelona for a few more days. He gave us a customized itinerary for the rest of our days to match out interests. The tour and Adrian's friendliness were definitely a highlight of our 5 days in Barcelona.

Adrian went above and beyond to make sure that my husband and I had a fulfilling, customized experience! He was the most knowledgeable tour guide we have ever had and it was nice to share many laughs and facts over 14 hours. He was very easy to talk to and even made sure we could get our passports stamped in Andorra. He had such a calm demeanor and as soon as we mentioned that we liked hiking, he geared activities based on that. He also made lunch reservations for us in Andorra, which was very thoughtful. I wish we could have him for every tour we do in the future!
