I cannot recommend this tour enough! Our guide Daniel was awesome! We only had 1 day in Barcelona and wanted to see as much as possible and this tour made that feat possible! It also felt like we were being shown around by a friend and not so much a tour guide. We loved that we could go at a fast pace given that it was a private tour and Daniel made sure we got all the stops in and even added a few more based on our interests. Barcelona is a big city and the sites are very spread out so it would have taken us a long time to navigate without Daniel’s savvy knowledge of the streets & public transportation of Barcelona. The tapas were also fantastic! Also of note, we needed a covid test before our flight the next day and Daniel found us a place that was conveniently located and inexpensive. This is THE tour for seeing all that Barcelona has to offer even if you have more days to spend here (which would be ideal!). We’ll be back for sure!

While this outing seemed kind of pricey at first glance, I can say it was worth every penny! Our guide Meit met us promptly at our meeting place, and explained how the day would go. She was friendly, warm and very knowledgeable. Polite and always aware, she checked in with us throughout the day, making sure our needs were met. Her fun energy kept us going all day, and I was so happy she was our guide! We started with a nice walk to a Gaudi house I was unfamiliar with, and spoke about the history of the house. Next we went to a remarkable covered market called La Bouqeria, that was full of gorgeous fruit and vegetables, meat, sweets, etc. - just lots of delicious stuff to look at and try. After that we continued our walking tour, and visited 2 more Gaudi houses, Casa Battlo and Pedrera. Meit shared lots of info about both, and kept us entertained while we continued our tour. We took a coffee break at a cute little shop, then went to Parc Guell after. What an amazing place! We had plenty of time to walk around and enjoy the park and the artistry of Gaudi literally everywhere. After this, we had a delicious lunch, and then made it to the Sagrada Familia. Meit shared with us more information about the cathedral, walked with us to both facades, and then brought us to our entrance, where we said goodbye. I was sorry to see her go!
I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who prefers a more personal experience; I would also recommend Meit as a tour guide for anyone who enjoys a high energy and artistic person, who also happens to be intelligent, funny, and kind. When I return to Barcelona, I would feel lucky to have her as a guide. She made our visit truly special, and we are incredibly grateful for the experience 🤓

Pedro was a brilliant and knowledgeable guide and I vigorously recommend this tour to anyone with a single day to spare and and a desire to see and understand the many layers of history and creativity that have gone into this city. After the tour I felt connected to the city in a way I didn't expect and can't wait to return. Thanks Pedro!

This tour was such a disappointment. I booked well over a year in advance as we were originally scheduled to be in Barcelona in September of 2020, but due to COVID it was moved to September 2021.
I contacted the company by email a week before the tour to ensure they had the tickets to La Sagrada Familia as I had heard they were only selling tickets for the morning of the day we were scheduled. The tour office assured me they had the tickets.
Our tour was scheduled for Saturday. On Thursday the tour guide contacts me to say our tickets were cancelled because they are having a concert at La Sagrada Familia that day. I was understanding and asked if we could get tickets instead for Sunday morning around 11am. The tour guide agreed to book them.
On Saturday our tour guide showed up on time, but not wearing a mask and coughing, which made my friend and I both extremely uncomfortable. She then tells us she'd been out late drinking and partying the night before, which didn't seem very professional. We then go to breakfast and I ask her about the tickets, and come to find out La Sagrada Familia didn't cancel on her, she just didn't book them more than a few days before and nothing was available when she went to book. The company did not have the tickets when they told me they did. Then I asked about the Sunday tickets. She didn't have those either. She went to book them then and the earliest we could go was 1:45pm, which we took. Unfortunately we had to leave Barcelona at 3pm to catch a bus. We got see it in the end, but we were rushed and our plans had to change twice because of this company's poor planning.
Also, I'll be honest, for the price, I'm not sure what we really got. Our guide was from Costa Rica, not local, nor was she an architecture expert. I was under the false impression that she would be able to take us through the Guadi sites and give us a personal tour, but she couldn't get into most and at Palau Guell she took the guided tour with us. She basically just walked us from site to site and had lunch with us. In Seville and Toledo we'd hired local experts for private tours for a similar rate and the experience was night and day different. In hindsight I wish we'd just done it all on our own with my Rick Steves guidebook.

Hi dear guest. We are sorry to hear that your experience was not to your liking. Unfortunately Sagrada FamÃlia was closed that day due to a private show, which is very unusual. This is something we cannot control. Regarding the guide, we have provided you with one of our best guides, who, although she is from Costa Rica, knows the history of Barcelona and Gaudà perfectly. Unfortunately she has made a mistake by not buying your tickets at the right time. We apologise for this mistake. The price we charge is a fair and appropriate price for the experience, as our reviews reflect. We look forward to having you back with us and thank you for your review to enable us to continue improving day by day. Thank you.

We went to Barcelona for a week to celebrate one of our friend's birthday and started off our time there with a day-long tour of the city with our fantastic guide, Pedro. We started off our tour in Las Ramblas where he showed us an important Gaudà landmark as well as provided lots of interesting historical information about the city and the history of Spain. We walked all through the Gothic Quarter and learned so much at each stop. He was truly a fountain of information and so fun to talk with and learn from. By the end of the tour, when he dropped us off at the entrance to La Sagrada Familia, we were well primed for the tour of the inside of the cathedral. Throughout the remainder of the week we were there, we went back to several of the locations we had been introduced to by Pedro on our first day and spent more time exploring. What a fantastic tour guide and person. Muchas gracias Pedro!

This tour was absolutely amazing. Let’s start by saying that Jennifer, our tour guide, was a gem of a human being but also an amazing and knowledgeable tour guide. We are a family of 5 from the US and had we not done this tour we would have missed so much throughout Barcelona. The city of Barcelona itself is a museum and there is so much to see in every street and alley way. Jennifer was so knowledgeable and the tour made us truly feel like we saw most of Barcelona. I definitely recommend doing this tour on your first day there so you can go back and see things that you would like to explore further. Thank you!!

What can I say about the best guide in Barcelona. You provided all of us with such a memorable and informative way to experience Barcelona and in particular through Gaudi’s eyes.
You are a true professional and one of the single best guides imaginable to leave us educated about everything, loving our included lunch and overall can we even provide a 6 star review.
If you are reading this review - Pedro cares and takes the time to make your experience sensational!!!

We had a great tour with our guide Vinceta. She shared a great deal about the architecture and history of Barcelona. This was our first time traveling to Barcelona, and this tour was a perfect overview of the major city highlights. We enjoyed a great lunch at a local tapas restaurant and had coffee at a unique chocolate shop. Be ready to walk. We covered 5-6 miles during the tour. I loved Park Gruell, the last stop of the trip. I also appreciated all of communication with our guide through text, email, and most conveniently What’s App.

My wife and I wanted our first trip to Barcelona to be filled with exciting and informative stops throughout the city and we hit the jackpot with our tour guide Jennifer. She was not only extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the city's history and culture, but also made us feel like we were old friends catching up with one another in a new city. She kept the tour moving at our pace, which allowed us to cover off a ton of the sites on our list, but she also made time throughout the day to have a lovely chat about life over coffee in a historic cafe and treated us to a delicious meal of tapas and cava in a restaurant filled with locals. The tour is thorough on paper, but Jennifer turned it into an unforgettable experience for us!

Our guide Adrianna was the best, we feel very lucky to have her take us around Barcelona. She was very informative by showing us many small details of the city that we would not be able to see ourselves. She took us on coffee breaks and treated us with local tapas, which was delicious! I highly recommend this tour!!

Does the Sagrada Familia ticket include access to the towers? If not, do we have option to purchase ahead of time so we can have access to the towers the day of our tour?

It’s not too difficult and since it’s private you have lots of flexibility but it’s not geared for young kids. 6 hours of looking at and leaning about architecture, history and culture.
