We absolutely loved the two wineries that Mariana chose for us! Each winery shared unique, premium wines that we have not tried before. We bought several bottles and wished that we could have taken home more.

The best part of our visit to Barcelona! Mariana is very knowledgeable and charming, and the host wineries were delightful. After a warm welcome from Mrs. Ventura, we enjoyed an interesting Tour of cava cellars of Pere Ventura. Sonja was great guide. Tasting wines and pairings were quite good. At second stop, we met owner, Pere Ventura at Can Bas before tasing in his home. What a gracious host! Highly recommend Mariana’s wine experiences!

My husband and I had a wonderful tour with Mariana. Her knowledge of wine and relationship with the wineries we visited enhanced the experience we had on a short trip in Barcelona. We hope to return one day and would definitely do another tour with her!

My mom and I had the most amazing experience with Mariana. We actually booked only a day in advance and you would have never known it was short notice. We had a lovely tour at Can Bas. She is knowledgeable and obviously has a fantastic relationship with the winery and a deep passion for Spanish wine. You quickly feel as if you are conversing with an old friend and you feel completely comfortable. If you have the option of doing a tour with her, I would highly recommend it.

Beatrice was wonderful! So friendly and told us all about Spanish culture. She was so accommodating when one of our friends was late. We had the best time! I would 100% make sure you do this tour.

This was my second wine tour with Winenium and once again they did not disappoint. I have done wine tours in Napa, Virginia, and Burgandy France etc, and I can honestly say this topped them all. There were 17 of us and We visited 3 wineries near sitges. Each winery experience was private and there were no crowds etc, very exclusive. Mariana knows all of the local winemakers and together they truly went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect day. This was by far the highlight of our trip and we will definitely book with Mariana again and again. If you like wine, stop reading this and just book it!! PS- last year I did the sailing and wine tour, also spectacular. The winery we visited overlooks the sea, stunning views, amazing as well.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Mariana and Winenium. We "interviewed" several wine tour guides (via email) and Mariana was the only one willing to custom design a tour for our specific requests. She hit all the marks we asked for and provided us with a first-class experience. We wanted boutique wineries and personalized tours, which is exactly what Mariana arranged. One of our tours was led by the winemaker herself! Fabulous. Mariana is beyond knowledgeable about wines and wineries but is not a "wine snob." Our day with Mariana and Winenium was truly the highlight of our four day holiday in Barcelona. Our experience with Winenium was so outstanding, my company is considering hiring them to arrange a special event when we host a partners' meeting in Barca in the Fall. We cannot say enough good things about Mariana and Winenium. They are fantastic!

My wife and I had a great time and loved the vineyards we visited. Our guide was as knowledgeable as she was pleasant to spend the day with and the wines were so good that we took several bottles back with us. This is a perfect way to have a calm and luxurious tasting experience without traveling far. We will use this company again for future tours. Everything was wonderful!

This is one of the most pleasant and informative tours I have done! Bea is a very friendly and informative tour guide, and the entire experience was amazing! The Sailboat cruise sets you up for the great wine adventure to come, and then in the car ride Bea described a lot of the history and towns on the way Vineyard. She is passionate about Barcelona and wine:) The Vineyard is in a magical setting with views of the Mediterranean, and the Sommelier was both interesting and educational. The Tapas lunch complimented the wine tasting perfectly. I highly recommend this for anyone!

This is our second tour with Wineium with Mariana as our host. We visited last year for a wine tour and had a great experience (see previous review). This year we once again returned to Barcelona and immediately requested Wineium and Mariana. Here is why we are so impressed and happy with this tour: highly professional, attention to all details, great venues, highly engaging, creates memories, provides insights about the regions and what we are visiting, has great relationships with the big and small wineries, we always feel that we are getting behind the scene access to everything. We highly recommend Winenium! Mariana arranged tours and tastings with tapas at two beautiful boutique wineries in the Penedes region, one Cava and one still wines. We had a lovely time and were well taken care of from start to finish.

When we were planning our girlfriends trip to Spain, we knew wine and Spanish cuisine would be an important part of the adventure. Spanish wines and tapas ARE Spain. In our research when we came upon Wineium Tours, we knew it fit the bill of what we were looking for. We wanted something smaller, more personalized and first class. We had the most wonderful time with Beatriz on our sailing and wine trip! It was the highlight of our trip to Barcelona. We basically had a private tour! The boat ride was really nice and the boat was quite large. The winery was absolutely stunning and the tour really informative. It was a short 30min drive to the wine region. The wine was delicious and so were the tapas! I would highly recommend this excursion for anyone looking to enjoy a lovely day drinking wine and enjoying the view of Barcelona’s coastline and neighboring wine region.

Marianna and Gerard planned our entire 2 day Priorat experience, and it far exceeded everything we could have hoped for. The beauty of the Priorat is stunning, and the wines are fantastic, but the history and the human warmth we experienced during our stay made this trip unforgettable. Two unexpected experiences are only a small portion of the many memories we will take home. 1 - We spent the morning leisurely drinking spectacular wines at Clos de l’Obec with Carles Pastrana, one of the “Magnificents” responsible for the modern restoration of the potential of Priorat wines. 2 - after having mentioned that we served Nit de Nin to our family at Thanksgiving dinner the week before, we were surprised during our lunch by a visit from the charming Ester Nin, the wine’s co-owner and head winemaker. All arranged by Gerard. We will return to el Priorato, and we will work with no one other than Mariana and Gerard. They were kind, professional and supremely knowledgeable about the product and place. They made this an unforgettable experience.
