We enjoyed learning about the incredible architectural impact Gaudi left behind in his buildings both private and public. He devotion to nature is well reflected even on the sidewalks of Barcelona. The La Sagrada Familia is a must see. The use of natural light, the time of sunrise, and sunset as part of the design, and the unapologetic atypical church building design is an amazing blend of late gothic, art nouveau, and modernism. I highly recommend this tour to anyone even mildly interested in architecture, Gaudi, and Barcelona history.

Leon Parris is a gem of a guide. He has deep knowledge of the city, unmatched story telling skills and a dry humour that keeps you entertained. I first joined him on his walking tour of the city and I loved it so much that I ended up booking his Gaudi tour as well. He is a living history book, he regaled us with stories of Gaudi and his contemporaries, and really painted a colourful picture. I would very much recommend this tour if you’re in Barcelona.
I would also recommend his walking tour, this man loves his city and can really help you explore it well. He gave us many lessons in the fascinating history of Catalonia and also gave excellent recommendations for bars and restaurants. We ended up visiting a couple of the places he mentioned and had a great time.
If you’re in Barcelona, find this guy, he will make you fall in love with the city.

I booked this tour last minute as a way to fill an afternoon and was very pleasantly suprised and really enjoyed it.
Our guide was Patrick who's enthusiasm for the city was unparalleled and he was very knowledgeable while also being funny and friendly meaning it never felt you were being lectured at.
Patrick made a real effort to make sure the group were comfortable and took time to speak to everyone on the walk between the sights.
As a solo traveller I found this tour fun, engaging and interesting.
I would strongly reccomend!

Visited Barcelona from Britain with four girlfriends and booked on to the free walking tour. We were given clear directions about where to meet and how to identify our tour guide. My friends and I attended a free tour delivered by Andy Pitt. An absolutely brilliant experience. Andy is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about the history of Barcelona and this shines through in how he delivers the tour, funny, engaging and incredibly interesting. Really cannot recommend this experience enough :)

I did 2 tours over the weekend, the Modernisme tour with Andrew (paid tour) and the Barcelona general tour (“free” tour) with Leon. Both Leon and Andrew were very knowledgeable about the subjects and enthusiastic in their delivery. It was entertaining through and through. This was my second trip to Barca, and I learned so much more about the city after these tours which really helped put into context the development of this complex and complicated city. Highly recommended.

I will give a plug for anyone going to Barca to please go, support this company, their people and the businesses in the city. It is such a great time to travel with everyone still shut and very few people at major sites. I had entire sites to myself at times that were packed to the gills when I last visited in 2016. It is sad to see so many businesses shuttered. Just take precautions and get out there. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity.

I am very excited to join this tour, arts and history fascinates me.We were a big crowd and our tour guide was fun and very informative.

Knowing the most important people who started the neo-gothic and modernism architecture in Barcelona is a music to my ears.Of course, the highlighted works of Gaudi is the top of the cream.

Our tour guide delivers all important aspects.Very knowledgeable and it was great to learn from him.

If you are an art enthusiast, loves culture and history this is one for you.

Brilliant walking tour with the lovely, very funny and very informative tour guide Macarena in the beautiful city of Barcelona.
As a busy cabin crew who only gets a 24 layover in most cities around the world I don’t usually do tours but I am glad I did in Barcelona this last Friday. I joined a group of 20+ people with two colleagues of mine and we spent a very enjoyable 2 1/2 hours exploring the new and old parts of this delightful city. Great tour and great tour guide. 10/10.

A very enlightening and interesting walking tour. Paula, our guide, was excellent. She had a contagious enthusiasm, energy and deep knowledge from her architect background. Even the 11 year old in our group enjoyed the tour. We now have a much deeper appreciation of Barcelona and its Modernism period.

Thoroughly enjoyed this informative tour led by Macarena (aaaii)

She was engaging, and her ability to discuss the details of Sagrada de Familia with her back turned to it was impressive!

Distance covered isn’t too far so very accessible to many. Definitely worth 3 hours of your visit to this city.

Thanks

I was so delighted with this walking tour. I learned so much about Gaudí as well as other influential Spanish Modernist master builders. Filipa is extremely knowledgeable and explains the history and politics that are intertwined with the architecture and Modernist movement in a way that is fun and easy to understand. It made me see Barcelona in a new light and have a fuller appreciation of Gaudí's genius. I would highly recommend this tour. It was also a beautiful way to see the city and get a little exercise while walk from place to place.
