This was such an incredible day! The hike was challenging but the views were more rewarding than I ever could have imagined. We climbed 3 mountain summits and saw the most incredible 360 degree views of the Pyrenees mountains. Pere was an excellent tour guide and provided us with all the necessary equipment we needed, including snow shoes which he taught us how to use! The tour was private and small (my boyfriend and I plus a mother and her son), which made the hike even more special. Pere knew so much information about the history of the Pyrenees and the surrounding areas, and he also knew the mountains well enough to suggest the perfect route for our group based on our abilities and the current weather conditions. This experience was better than I ever could have imagined!

Pere is a great mountain guide and led us on a wonderful hike to a view point, but even more wonderfully through the mountains and forests of Montserrat Natural Park. The scenery is just spectacular. These mountains are steep, but Pere will give you multiple options with varying levels of challenge and will talk you through which one is best for you/ your group. Pere is friendly and informative and even walked through the art museum near the monastery with us before we headed back to Barcelona. And he also took photos of us throughout the day. So lovely! We loved our Montserrat hike. The scenery is truly spectacular, better than we expected. Our guide Pere was fantastic. He was personable and so knowledgeable on a range of subjects including geology, geography, flora and fauna,local legends, and the history of the region. He took lots of great photos of us and gave us yummy snacks. We chose the 4 hour hike to the summit and back. It was well worth it. The track is well formed and easy to follow. The steep bits all have stairs.

Had an amazing experience thanks to Pere! Better than I ever planned! I really wanted to hike St Jeroni but was hesitant to do it solo. I am so glad I found Pere. He took the time to get to know me, and when he learned I was a hiker, he suggested a different route. He mapped out my options and made me choose. I chose the one he had recommended and I was so glad! We started from Ermita de St Cecilia. It was definitely challenging and also one of the best hikes I've done. He made sure I was safe. He took several pictures of me! We ended in the monastery and he shared a lot of information. We even heard the boys choir! Do not hesitate to book. Pere was a joy to be with. Being a solo traveller and adventurer I was worried about the alone time for hours - but Pere is a joy to be around, full of knowledge, culture and experience! The hike itself, we took the intermediate route (I think in total it took us around 3 hours up and down) - Pere then showed me around the monastery area and the church etc. Equipping me with tonnes of knowledge about the legends of Catalonia etc. In terms of challenge - I would say if you are a complete novice, the route we took may be a challenge for you. However, Pere will provide you with multiple options! Honestly, what an experience. Thanks Pere! Legend.

Peter is a man of many talents. Not only is he a full fledged mountain guide, he is a photographer, a story teller, a historian and an overall nice guy. Our Monserrat hike wouldn't have been the same without his knowledge and energy. He managed to keep our active teenagers engaged without pushing us too hard. Peter/Pere is amazing! He loves what he does! He was an incredible guide.. telling us stories and info on the drive up to Montserrat. And he knows Montserrat and all the trails like the back of his hand. At the start of the hike, he gave us lots of options and let us decide.. and even took my kids and husband on another peak (that was too difficult for me).. but ended up being the favorite part of our kids' experience. And we just opened up all the photos he took of us throughout the day! What a memory keeper! It was like having a professional photographer to capture the day! If you are looking for a guide for Montserrat, Peter/Pere is your guide! Just do it! You will be happy you did!

Pere, was organized and prompt with correspondance and pick up at my Hotel. Pere was very attentive and very informative. He is super knowledgeable about the history, the geography, flora and fauna and he also speaks very good English and has a great sense of humour. I appreciated the extra coat he provided me and the delicious snack. I felt very safe and in good care at all times with Pere. I loved every minute of my hike; the views are incredible as is the Montserrat Mountain Range and the Monastery. What a day! It was hands down the best day of my holiday. Wow, what an adventure! Pera took us on a hike with hidden gems, wonderful legends about Monserrat, took beautiful pictures of us, was very knowledgeable and safe! I am thankful for this amazing trip- couldn’t have been better!

Hiking Montserrat with Peter was one of the highlights of our trip to Spain. We are a family with 3 boys (2 teenagers and a younger child) and Peter kept us engaged with his knowledge of the area and interesting stories. The hike was challenging and incredible. Not only did Peter act as tour guide, he was the photographer as well, taking breathtaking photos of our family and the scenery on his fancy camera which he e-mailed to us a few days later.
