        You will enjoy the atmosphere
No doubt that is the best historical attraction of Barcelona. You can see the mixture of history, religion and art together. I loved the atmosphere. Don’t miss it! You have to buy online ticket, no way to pay cash (26 €) The hopon-off station is in front of the church but to go in , you should go to the other side If you leave the place, you can’t inter again with the same ticket They have pass gate for security Staffs are not friendly and hospitable at all!!!!!!!’ The w.c was very small and dirty with the bad smell!!! You have to download application then you will have your own tourguide 🙃 their guidence were translate about 7 to 10 language There is no food and drinks are available

        Fantastic and amazing Cathedral
This is a must-see Basilica from the outside and the inside. The architecture, design, and look are so fascinating that you can experience them with awe and wonder. We took a lot of photos both the inside and outside view of the Cathedral. Highly recommended for visitors in Barcelona.

        Must See if in Barcelona
This massive basilica lived up to the hype, its gorgeous both inside and out, and if you get a tour or use the audio guide to learn some of the history and reasoning behind it's design you will fall in love.

An absolute must-see when in Barcelona
You need a couple of hours and a good tour guide helps tremendously in navigating this other-worldly basilica. We marveled at the architecture, the design, the lighting, the 3 facades (creation, death, and resurrection). I wish we had more time to go through the historical portion beyond the actual sanctuary but if you are in Barcelona, you absolutely MUST visit this church.

        Gaudi's Masterpiece – A Must-Visit
We visited the Sagrada Familia without a tour guide and had plenty of time to explore its stunning architecture and intricate details. The beauty of Gaudi's design is truly mesmerizing, and we enjoyed wandering through the basilica at our own pace. The play of light through the stained glass windows and the symbolism in the sculptures left us in awe. Highly recommend visiting this architectural gem!

        Something I never seen
Visiting the Sagrada Família was absolutely breathtaking! The architecture is unlike anything I’ve ever seen, with intricate details and stunning stained glass windows that fill the space with colorful light. Gaudí’s vision is truly mind-blowing, and you can feel the history and artistry in every corner. Climbing the towers gave us incredible views of Barcelona, which was a highlight.

Visiting the Sagrada Familia is an experience not to be missed. I recommend taking your time to enjoy every detail and if you have the chance, climb the towers to admire the breathtaking views of Barcelona. It is a place that inspires and leaves a lasting impression on every visitor.

        Magical
If you go to Barcelona and you don't visit here you've made a mistake. Even if you're not religious or Christian it is a must see. Entering is magical. Make a reservation and take the elevator up and the stairs down. Sit in a pew and take it all in. Hopefully the sun will be shining though the stained glass. Highly recommended.

La sagrada familia, the highlight of Barcelona
This is the most impressive monument in Barcelona and is well worth a trip. The experience is mind blowing. We visited 25 years ago 15 years ago and very recently the change has been enormous. Unfortunately now there’s a lot of security for obvious reasons.

Awe-Inspiring Masterpiece in the Heart of Barcelona
Visiting La Sagrada Família is like stepping into a living work of art. Antoni Gaudí’s visionary design is breathtaking, with intricate details that seem almost otherworldly. The exterior is impressive, but it’s the interior that truly steals the show. I highly recommend booking tickets in advance to avoid the queues and opting for a guided tour or audio guide to fully appreciate the history and symbolism behind this architectural marvel. You cannot visit Barcelona and not see Sagrada Família. I thoroughly recommend booking a guided tour in advance, it is worth every penny. We booked our tour through the Barcelona Guide Bureau, and, thanks to our excellent guide, discovered fascinating insight into the history of the ongoing creation of the basilica.

Entering Sagrada Família for the first time literally took my breath away, no picture can do it justice!! The spectacular sight of the sunlight streaming through the coloured glass and reflecting on the ‘forest’ of pillars will stay with me forever.

Whilst not cheap, nobody should leave Barcelona without taking a tour inside this famous landmark. It is amazing!

The views from outside are outstanding, but the effects of the stained glass inside are amazing. You really need expert commentary to explain about each part of the building to understand what Gaudi was trying to do with his architecture. I would recommend paying the extra €1 to be part of a small guided tour rather than the self guided audio tour. Our guide, Artuo/Arthur, was very knowledgeable and kept the group well marshalled.
There are plenty of free toilets around but as always there may be a queue.

This is not to be missed. Its a wonder of the World. Plan your trip and look online and decide what ticket you want. It is cheaper to buy beforehand and then you just queue, or you can go round the otherside of the building and buy on day for a little more. Its not too much but may mean you cannot include the tower if thats what you want. We didnt include as no slots left though inside you can book tower sep but may mean a long wait for available slot. Tickets can include others attractions at Guell Park but we didnt do this so investigate what they are and whether worth it or what you want to do. The Park itself is wonderful for a long stroll around and take a picnic

Having visited Barcelona a few times we finally took a guided tour of the Sagrada Familia and it was well worth every part of the €26 per person. It was a 55 minute tour and then you could spend as much time as you wanted afterwards in the basilica itself and the museum.
It's simply stunning. Will it be fully finished in 2026?, I would be very surprised.

So put this into perspective, we had already seen so many churches on this trip we became a little dismissive and bored of any further churches. However the moment you view this master piece from the outside and then enter, you realise that this isn't just another church, this is a work of art.

The grandure and detail was completely moving and we spent two hours inside listening to our self-guided tour and soaking up the details. This is a must-see if you're in Barcelona.

Work is still progressing and the Basilica will be finished in 2026.

Our two previous trips to Barcelona like this one was with P&O cruises but these didn’t involve us going here.
This time we were determined to see it so booked a Shore excursion with P&O, we’d done our own thing previously, which also involved a visit to Park Guell.
Our guide who took us to both venues was excellent and it was certainly worth having someone on hand to explain things and taking over the ticket arrangements of getting in.
Maybe we could have done with more time but without doubt the unusual architecture of Guadi is just amazing.Credit has also to go to the work that has taken place since his original involvement in achieving his “ concept” with final completion planned for 2026.
This is one of the most amazing and iconic “places” my wife and I have been lucky to visit and we have been fortunate to have seen a few, including the Taj Mahal, the Sydney Opera House,Alcatraz, Baha’i Gardens in Haifa and New Delhi ,etc and we both put this amongst the best we’ve visited.
A genuine must go if you get the chance but plan ahead to make sure you get the chance as it is certainly busy.

ONLY seven more years until they finish it. The outside is breathtaking. The inside is not as striking. Plenty of people admiring the work, but you can take pictures up close, from afar, or inside. The number one attraction in Barcelona.

Architecture of this place is amazing. Though it is under construction for its towers, the visible part just mesmerises. From inside like any other famous church of Europe one can feel the richness. Taking an audio guide probably would have been best. We took a guided tour and again too much information and too little time to admire. Kids got a little bored. With skip the line entrance, we spent about 2.5 hours. This was also because we were with tour. It has a beautiful museum which gives you almost all the information that the tour guide tells.

Buy tickets ahead of time and enjoy the inside. We didnt do the towers because we had our daughter in a stroller but still spent good quality time here. I recommend researching before you go when the sun comes in at the right time to see how the colors on the window panels on shine so beautifully.

One of the highlights of our trip was this tour with Isaac! Isaac was super informative, charming and fun. Both my 84 year old mother and I had a wonderful afternoon. I highly recommend this tour. La Sagrada Familia was a highlight of our trip to Barcelona. I highly recommend visiting in the early/mid afternoon to take advantage of the afternoon light! Simply beautiful!
