About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- davidpW3746IU0 contributionsComplete garbageI traveled 15 hours to get to this city and take this tour and I was exactly 8 min late. I called ahead to inform them. They didn't lift a finger to help me. In fact, they outright refused to wait. THEN they charged me another $30 US on top of the $60 US they wouldn't refund me. So $90 US, for a very the luxury of super rude customer service and zero effort to assist. Every tour I have always been on waits 15 min for stragglers. Cause when people travel stuff happens that's beyond their control. That's just human. But to Julia Travel 8 measly minutes on a sleepy Tuesday afternoon would just ruin everyone else's experience. Unbelievable the arrogance with these people. They could've at least been civil about it. But no rude and arrogant and most of all greedy. Don't waste your time.Written November 5, 2024
- brucedC7558BK0 contributionsGreat Half-Day Tour of SegoviaWell worth the trip! Guide provided great commentary in fluent Spanish and English using headphones. Interesting walking tour through the medieval square, saw Roman aqueduct, cathedral with imposing columns and took photos of castle (Alkazar)Written October 14, 2024
- C2322GQmarkr0 contributionsOverall..... it was OK but not great. There were too many people in the group and it was difficult..... The guides English was not understandable and I felt like we were herded. Note: There are FEW toilet facilities when you do this tour so be prepared. And, the restaurant owners will not allow you to use their toilets.Written September 25, 2024
- Tourist223149274500 contributionsSegovia - take a full day tour insteadThe site is worth visiting, great history and architecture. This was an afternoon short tour so we didn’t get the best experience, we really have to rush, and so did have to do the guide. We missed lots of historical facts and cruise through many other. I definitely recommend to take a full day tour instead.Written July 22, 2024
- Resort512169114960 contributionsFairy tale viewThe tour was amazing the castle is awe inspiring the only observation is that the guide had our group literally running to keep up it felt rushed and gave 5 minutes to view the castle and then rush to the cathedral If you were to add an hour to the tour it would a perfect 10Written April 21, 2024
- Curious646613335540 contributionsMust see when visiting SpainTour guide was fantastic. Knowledgeable of all sites. English speaking guide was great. Learned about so much history in full day tour.Written November 23, 2023
- Christine_Lily20 contributionsWorthwhileOur tour began by meeting in the centre of Madrid. Our fabulous guide's name wasMarisol. The bus was comfortable with room for everyone. Marisol was passionate about her job and it showed. Our " whispers" ( headphone) worked well. Avila and Segovia are both great historical towns. A worthwhile tourWritten November 13, 2023
- natalliamoretz0 contributionsNot as advertised. No English speaking guide. Cut the duration of the tour!I do not recommend this tour. It was advertised as a 5 hour tour conducted in both Spanish and English. Our tour guide Delphina spoke almost no English. She was not able to understand or answer any of my questions. 90% of the walking tour was in silence. She basically was just a person showing us the way to the Segovia castle, no history, no information from Delphina. In the castle the group was passed to another guide who spoke better English, but the information was poor. He tried to make jokes mostly. On top, they cut the tour from 5 hours to 3 hours. We ended up spending only one hour in Segovia, and were told to meet by the bus at 6.15 ( 3 hour mark from when we left Madrid). When I asked why the tour is so short, I was told it all depended on the bus schedule… I ended up not leaving Segovia with the bus tour and staying, I left on a train later. When I asked for a refund of this mediocre experience, my request was rejected. Overall, Segovia is a beautiful town with lots of history and I wish I had a better tour guide. This felt like a rip off (paid about 60 euros). I recommend using a different tour for Segovia experience!Written October 24, 2023
- Addie L0 contributionsGreat afternoon activityGreat way to see Segovia for an afternoon without the stress of figuring out how to get there yourself. Highly recommend!Written October 18, 2023
- 824chelsieh0 contributionsFun TimeSegovia was so beautiful! Our tour guide, Karlos, was awesome! He didn’t miss a beat and had lots of good info. We had a blast and would highly recommend!Written October 13, 2023
- robertsV8760QI0 contributionsFun visit to SegoviaCarlos was brilliant. (He told us to write this - just joking). His knowledge was superb and so was his delivery. Segovia was a magnificent place to visit. The aqueduct was extraordinary, but it’s what we’ve come o expect from those amazing Roman engineers. A great afternoon made even more fun by Carlos’s sense of humour!Written October 10, 2023
- Mrblaw0 contributionsGreat place but your was less than averageSegovia is beautiful. 1/2 a day is fine. You need to wear comfortable shoes the streets are cobblestone. Bring water you’ll need it. They sell it on the bus but it’s not cold. We had several issues. Our group was bilingual- the people on the bus. And so are we. It’s a benefit and a curse. Our tour guide had tech issues and the required headsets did not work. I could live with that. But it was disheartening how little the guide knew about where we were, and the descriptions we were getting of the different places. I don’t need that there was a significant amount of information that was lost when translated into English. That’s in addition to describing certain rooms with incorrect room names. The tour guide was absolutely nice and kind, but not knowledgeable.Written July 18, 2023
- suenN6541WM0 contributionsGreat experience for the young and oldWonderful experience for young and old. I'm in my upper 70's and went with family members ages 15, 18 and 38. We all had very positive things about our excursion . It was educational yet fun.Written June 7, 2023
- Kraphtron19930 contributionsDay Trip ToledoExcellent content and coverage of the tour of Toledo . Bus comfortable and clean . Tour guide Jorge was fantastic , friendly , helpful and very knowledgeable . Only complaint was that we had to share him speaking Espanol with the other tourists . All English speaking would of been better .Written June 7, 2023
- TrailBlazer1624590 contributionsFrustrating experienceWhen purchasing the tour on trip advisor, its not possoble to include any observatoon. During the tour the staff was uncapable to accomodate my needs (especially food allergies). And also the staff did not even show any empathy. Kind of a frustrating experience.Written May 8, 2023
