Not worth the money. Not enough time.
The tour was very rushed, thankfully we were able to stay in the Basilica after the tour. Definitely not worth the money.

Excellent way to see this amazing building
Informative tour guide , passionate about the subject of this incredible structure. The tour helps you understand the uniqueness of the building and why the architect designed it as he did.

Great overview of Sagrada Familia with skip-the-line tickets
Our family loves guided tours, and our tour of Sagrada Familia with Gloria did not disappoint. The 1 1/2 hrs was enough time to just skim all the information and history of it. Gloria was super animated and knowledgeable, patient with all questions. She uses a speaker that transmits to ear buds, which is helpful in the crowds. Would highly recommend!

Hightly Recommend VIP Batllo Tour - Amazing
I had a great experience on the VIP Early Access tour of Casa Batllo with Gloria O. Gloria O. was an outstanding guide that was extremely knowledgable and passionate about the history of architecture. I learned alot and appreciated the details and information. Being able to tour the facility before the crowds was a treat - no crowds in photos and lots of room to discover all the incredible decor, etc. There is so much to see that it was a pleasure to walk around with no other tours (unlike Sagrad Familia which was very crowded). Gloria had great stories/ recommendations and she answered all questions thoroughly which was supported with old photos and anecdots. She included assumptions and lots of background information to supplement the tour. She had great expertise and knowledge. It was one of the best tours that I have taken and definitely in Barcelona. The tour was a highlight of my trip. Thanks for an excellent tour.

Super nice tour! Our guide, Gloria, was sharing fascinating insights, so we learnt a lot about history and Gaudi’s unique vision. Exploring the building without the crowds made this a great experience. Highly recommend it!

    Amazing tour!
Unique experience to visit Casa Batllo without crowds (I have been there before with hundreds of people and today we were 10)! We had a very early start (7:30 am) but it was worth the effort. We had the whole house for ourselves and we were done with the tour when the general public started to enter. I can warmly recommend this everyone who wants to visit this popular site in a non-touristy way.

    Fantastic tour. Thoroughly recommended.
Sylvia was a fantastic guide. Extremely knowledgeable, but also passionate in presenting so many details of the Sahara Familia that we had no idea about (have been before). An enlightening experience made all the more special. Would totally recommend this tour and especially her guidance and explanation. .

    ENCHANTING AND WHIMSICAL
ENCHANTING AND WHIMSICAL It was such an enchanting experience being able to see Casa Battlo before crowds came in. It felt extra special as we were able to fully soak in all the experience as we walked through each room not being distracted by crowds and learn such details about the design, concept and purpose that Gaudi had intended when he created Casa Battlo. Silvana our tour guide was amazing and kind to answer some questions we may have too. Highly recommend this tour!! This was long time dream of mine, more than a decade ago, after learning about art nouveau in a high school art class to see Casa Battlo in person. I still cant believe we got to experience it this way with my husband (who became a new fan of Gaudi) too.

This is a fantastic tour by Take Walks and you will have a huge appreciation for Gaudí's talent, even if you don't know much about him or his work before the tour! My husband and I were in Barcelona in December 2019 and we decided to take this complete Gaudí tour to make sure we saw these highlights as well as learn more about the architect. Our tour guide, Xavi, was funny, entertaining, very knowledgeable about Gaudí, and passionate about sharing his love of Barcelona with visitors. Xavi's descriptions of Gaudí's work and intentions absolutely made our experience of visiting his works have more meaning and appreciation than if we had seen these sights on our own. Ending the tour with the Sagrada Familia was a perfect ending to the culmination of Gaudí's work and was truly awe-inspiring. The outside detail was beautiful, the towers were incredibly tall, and the inside left us speechless. If you are in Barcelona, you have to see some of Gaudí's work, and we absolutely suggest this fantastic tour by Take Walks because of the additional depth and meaning that you will experience his work. Our tour guide was not only all of the adjectives I listed earlier but he even went well above and beyond by getting another party in our tour group reservations at a restaurant. We have taken tours by Take Walks in the past and they have always been great; this tour just adds to our trust and appreciation for that tour company. Definitely book this tour!

Intensive immersion into Gaudi’s work. Our Guide was excellent as she answered everyone’s questions with clear knowledge of her subject. Casa Batillo was amazing, Sagrada Familia was inspiring. Park Guell was crowded, and our group felt we spent too much time there. Time which would have been better spent seeing Guell Palace or going into one of the spots we just walked by in passing. Not that Park Guell wasn’t fascinating but it was so crowded that it was hard to see many of the notable features and this was late October. Still, this tour covered a significant part of the Gaudí repertoire and I would recommend it highly to anyone interested in Gaudi’s architecture.

I was searching for a Gaudi tour that covered many of the highlights in Barcelona, included tickets with the price of the tour, and had a small tour size. This tour checked all of those boxes. Our tour guide, Marco, was very knowledgeable and personable. He is a great storyteller and really captivated our tour group. The skip-the-line tickets at all of the sites really helped us speed past all of the other tourists and allowed us to quickly enter each place. All of the sites were spectacular, but Sagrada Familia was the real highlight of the tour. It is truly a place you have to see in person, and I highly recommend visiting it with this tour.

Our group of about 10-15 guests had a wonderful guide in Miguel. Knowledgeable, friendly with a zest for giving tours and a sense of humor. Felt like we covered Casa Battló, Park Güell and La Sagrada Familia well in about 5 hours time. We do stop in front of Casa Milà (aka La Pedrera) but don't enter it, which is fine since I feel most of its appeal is the outside. You can book a separate tour to see Casa Milà's interior and rooftop if you wish. Casa Vicens is not included so I definitely recommend booking a separate tour for that since that is unmissable Gaudí. (And if you are trying to visit as much of his work as possible, then I recommend going to Colònia Guell just outside of Barcelona to see the crypt/church - that's a highlight.) Back to this tour, overall a great value that you can finish by about 2:30pm to do other sight-seeing for the remainder of the day!

While I am not a person who normally take the time to write a bad review, I could not overlook sharing my experience with others. First, I will own up to planning my trip late and there were only two options to see these sites. This one received great reviews and me and my friend booked it, paying well above the "prices starting" at price.

We showed up for the tour and were quickly handed a listening device and an earbud that could not have cost over $.05. Keep in mind, nowhere in the listing did it mention that this is the way the tour would be delivered. In the first 15 minutes, the ear piece would not stay in my ear even though I tried other angles and both ears. My ear actually hurt from the thing and I removed it. Keep in mind this is a 5 hour tour. I put the device in my bag and went through our fist stop. When we finished, the guide asked me where my device was. I explained the situation, she took the device and asked me if I had brought my own earbuds. A bit put off by this question I told her if I had know that this expensive tour needed earbuds, I would have brought my own. She shrugged and walked away. For the rest of the day she showed little concern that I did not hear anything she had to say. She did not make an effort to make anything better, acknowledge my situation or try to stand close to me when she delivered her messaging. My friend was also not satisfied with the audio, but could still use it. Since we wanted to see the sites and there would be no other way to do it, we stuck it out.

All I can say to people, if you are compelled to book this, is come with your own plug in earbuds and not a high expectation. This is a long trip and I spent a lot of money and walked away knowing nothing about any of the sites I paid to see. Disappointing is an understatement.

Dear Suzan, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We sincerely apologize that your experience did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding the audio reception and the quality of the headphones provided. We're truly sorry for any inconvenience caused by the issues with the listening device and earbuds. We haven't received any previous complaints regarding the headsets, and we appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention. It's important for us to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of all our guests, and we regret that we fell short in this instance. Regarding the Sagrada Familia site, we'd like to clarify that unlike other locations, the Sagrada Familia does not permit the use of external equipment, requiring us to rent their devices. Unfortunately, these devices have been experiencing some technical difficulties lately, which can impact the clarity of the guide's audio. However, please rest assured that our guides always strive to provide the best possible experience for our guests, despite these challenges. We understand your disappointment with the situation, especially regarding the discomfort caused by the earbuds. We always aim to ensure that our equipment is comfortable for our guests, and we apologize that this was not the case for you. I see that you provided our guide with the information that everything is fine and you can follow the tour further. We regret that we were not able to address your concerns during the tour. We strive to provide prompt assistance and resolve any issues as they arise. We apologize for any oversight on our part. Please know that your feedback has been taken seriously, and we will use it to improve our services for future guests. We would like to invite you to reach out to us at feedback@walks.org so that we can further discuss your concerns and find a suitable resolution. Despite the challenges you faced, we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you on another tour in the future and provide you with the exceptional 5-star experience that you deserve. We'd like to invite you to join us on our Barcelona at Sunset: Tapas & Wine Tour, where you can enjoy delicious tapas, fine wines, and breathtaking sunset views of Barcelona. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to hearing from you. Best regards, Sasha Walks and Devour Tours

We had Diana as a guide for this tour and she made all the difference in such an enjoyable experience. We started at the Casa Batllo and Diana gave us all the history and background of Gaudi who created the design for this home. She included info about nearby homes ( also the Amatller house that owns the chocolate company) that were created about the same time. She took us by the chocolate shop and recommended we come back to “the best chocolate in the world”- we did and they made wonderful gifts for those at home. She arranged a Mercedes van to drive us to the Park Güell and walked us thru with stories of its creation. We then were transported to the Sagrada Familia where she recommended a restaurant that could serve us lunch in 30 minutes before our tour of the church. We spent over an hour in each place and she was able to answer every question asked. We had headsets so everyone could hear and she always found a shady spot ( very important on a hot day) to stop, sit, and listen. We thought the tour was a bit pricey, but afterward agreed it was well worth the cost.

We wanted a comprehensive tour, and we got one! Aida was a wonderful guide — she was able to provide tons of information about Gaudí, his life, and his masterworks, while putting it in the context of time and place. She also was able to keep us on schedule, allowing us to see everything on the itinerary without hurrying us. It was great to go straight through the entrance while lots of others were waiting in line! There were two breaks for snacks and restrooms, and again, they were not hurried, but she kept us on schedule. The sights themselves were amazing, but that goes without saying. The amount of walking was perfect for us, but don’t book this tour if you don’t want to walk a bit. The van that took us the longest distances was very clean, modern, and air conditioned. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience!

This tour eliminates the stress of visiting such busy popular sites and allows you to focus on the genius of Gaudi. Our guide Aida was very cool, thoughtful in putting the buildings into historic context, knowledgeable about the materials and themes he used. She allowed a nice amount of time to take photographs and adeptly helped us navigate the overwhelming crowds at the Park Guell and Sagrada Familia allowing us to actually enjoy them. The meetup was easy to find, the van very comfortable and the size of the group very manageable. Aida was a “10.” Highly recommend!!

Wonderful experience. My three teenage daughters were enthralled as well! Montse was an excellent guide - Very personable and extremely informative. The group size was perfect and it was so helpful to have our own earpieces to hear Montse's guidance and insight while we wondered around. I would have appreciated another 20 minutes or so at Parc Guell, but everything else was really well paced out. We also appreciated the extra stops outside some of Gaudi's other works! Having a hard time deciding which was my favorite spot!

The full Gaudi experience (11 August 2023) gave us access and insight to some of Gaudi’s architectural wonders and to his method and great mind. The design details shared by our guide were fantastic. The Sagrada Familia as the capstone was perfect, though personally some of the lengthy intro details shared by the guide prior to entering were a bit of overkill, and our group was flagging in the hot sun, so maybe more could have been shared inside rather than out. But definitely recommend to anyone in Barcelona - the arrangements, walking, bus transfers were all arranged and well organized and communicated.
