The best part of our visit to Barcelona! Mariana is very knowledgeable and charming, and the host wineries were delightful. After a warm welcome from Mrs. Ventura, we enjoyed an interesting Tour of cava cellars of Pere Ventura. Sonja was great guide. Tasting wines and pairings were quite good. At second stop, we met owner, Pere Ventura at Can Bas before tasing in his home. What a gracious host! Highly recommend Mariana’s wine experiences!

My mom and I had the most amazing experience with Mariana. We actually booked only a day in advance and you would have never known it was short notice. We had a lovely tour at Can Bas. She is knowledgeable and obviously has a fantastic relationship with the winery and a deep passion for Spanish wine. You quickly feel as if you are conversing with an old friend and you feel completely comfortable. If you have the option of doing a tour with her, I would highly recommend it.

Beatrice was wonderful! So friendly and told us all about Spanish culture. She was so accommodating when one of our friends was late. We had the best time! I would 100% make sure you do this tour.

This is one of the most pleasant and informative tours I have done! Bea is a very friendly and informative tour guide, and the entire experience was amazing! The Sailboat cruise sets you up for the great wine adventure to come, and then in the car ride Bea described a lot of the history and towns on the way Vineyard. She is passionate about Barcelona and wine:) The Vineyard is in a magical setting with views of the Mediterranean, and the Sommelier was both interesting and educational. The Tapas lunch complimented the wine tasting perfectly. I highly recommend this for anyone!

This is our second tour with Wineium with Mariana as our host. We visited last year for a wine tour and had a great experience (see previous review). This year we once again returned to Barcelona and immediately requested Wineium and Mariana. Here is why we are so impressed and happy with this tour: highly professional, attention to all details, great venues, highly engaging, creates memories, provides insights about the regions and what we are visiting, has great relationships with the big and small wineries, we always feel that we are getting behind the scene access to everything. When we were planning our girlfriends trip to Spain, we knew wine and Spanish cuisine would be an important part of the adventure. Spanish wines and tapas ARE Spain. In our research when we came upon Wineium Tours, we knew it fit the bill of what we were looking for. We wanted something smaller, more personalized and first class. Sailing on a great sailboat, savoring a nice selection wines and tapas made for the perfect day. Thank you Mariana. You and your team are the best!

We had the most wonderful time with Beatriz on our sailing and wine trip! It was the highlight of our trip to Barcelona. We basically had a private tour! The boat ride was really nice and the boat was quite large. The winery was absolutely stunning and the tour really informative. It was a short 30min drive to the wine region. The wine was delicious and so were the tapas! I would highly recommend this excursion for anyone looking to enjoy a lovely day drinking wine and enjoying the view of Barcelona’s coastline and neighboring wine region.

Marianna and Gerard planned our entire 2 day Priorat experience, and it far exceeded everything we could have hoped for. The beauty of the Priorat is stunning, and the wines are fantastic, but the history and the human warmth we experienced during our stay made this trip unforgettable. Two unexpected experiences are only a small portion of the many memories we will take home. 1 - We spent the morning leisurely drinking spectacular wines at Clos de l’Obec with Carles Pastrana, one of the “Magnificents” responsible for the modern restoration of the potential of Priorat wines. 2 - after having mentioned that we served Nit de Nin to our family at Thanksgiving dinner the week before, we were surprised during our lunch by a visit from the charming Ester Nin, the wine’s co-owner and head winemaker. All arranged by Gerard. We will return to el Priorato, and we will work with no one other than Mariana and Gerard. They were kind, professional and supremely knowledgeable about the product and place. They made this an unforgettable experience.

Rough seas and high winds prevented us from taking a boat transportation to the winery in Alella. We had great communication the day prior and the day of our tour. Beatrice was knowledgeable and pleasant. Georgia at the winery was personable and interesting— the winery was awesome. We would recommend Winenium without hesitation. The partial refund we received from not being able to sail was unexpected but appreciated

From the moment we met with Mariana, every detail of our day was taken care of! We will never forget this day with her. She met with us, and we were the only two on this excursion. Some tour companies would cancel, but she did not! We started off on a beautiful schooner that had multi levels and plenty of cushy chairs on top. We took an hour tour of the harbor and had a nice chat, looked at the various ships that were in town that day, and took lots of photos. What a wonderful cruise! Mariana informed us that the winery was not quite ready for us, and she made sure we filled the extra time with a beautiful glass of Prosecco. She thinks of everything! Then, we hopped into Mariana's new van and drove to the winery. This is when we had a tour of the winery, a beautiful facility. After the tour we had a chance to taste six of their wines, three whites and three reds. This is when Mariana gave us a beautiful presentation, of 2 individual box of tapas. Each was a beautiful wrapped box of various cheeses and meats, bread, our own little individual olive oil, and home made tortillas. Yes, the one's that Spain is famous for...the ones with egg and potatoes. It was exquisite! And, of course, we could pair it with any and/or all of the wines. We enjoyed the views, because at this winery, you can see where the grapes meet the ocean from our view, so of course we took plenty of photos. If you are thinking of doing a tour in Barcelona, please do not hesitate to take any of her tours. She will absolutely treat you like family! The only thing we regret is not taking a photo with her, so now we will have to come back again...:-) Thank you Mariana for making sure we had a wonderful and memorable day. We had such a great exeperience! As much as we had wanted to do a long tour, our timeframe didn’t allow - so the sailing and wine tour was perfect for our schedule. It felt like a private tour and Mariana was so kind and knowledgeable. The winery we went to was great and Mariana had also prepared some meat and cheeses to go along with the wine tasting, which was exclusive to our tour group. The sailing tour was just as special. Would highly recommend!!

Found this tour on Viator and thought, sailing and wine?! Ok I’ll bite. Our tour guide Beatrice was prompt and friendly. she took us to our boat and we sailed the sea with wine in hand (there was a bar on the sailboat). This was awesome viewing Barcelona by sea, the views were breathtaking and the cool breeze felt phenomenal. We docked and was taken to a beautiful winery with the most impeccable view. We were able to tour the winery and a tapas box was provided to us to pair with all of our wines. I’ve toured Napa, Sonoma, Niagara and Now Barcelona wine country and I can say this was the most riveting experience of them all. If you don’t try this tour, you will be missing out. All 5 stars here!

What an amazing tour!!!! Mariana is an absolute delight and beyond outgoing. Hands down the best wine tour we did on our Spain/Portugal trip. All of the wines were fabulous and the sailing tour was very relaxing and gorgeous. Thank you for an amazing experience!!!
