Although the tour is a bit on the pricey side, it is ultimately worth it if you can afford it. The guides are knowledgeable enough to make one fully appreciate Gaudi’s genius and entertaining enough to make the tour fun. Our guide, Vincenc (Catalan for Vincent), was great company for the four hours the tour lasted - truly passionate about and proud of Catalan heritage. I especially recommend this tour for those who have a short stay in Barcelona.

A Day with Gaudi
A perfect way to begin our holiday in Barcelona! Jordan met us promptly at the meeting site with a positive, energetic and professional attitude. He was clear in his communication and extremely knowledgeable with a personal touch. Would highly recommend good walking shoes as the park is slightly hilly and the surface is dirt and steps. After a short bus ride we arrived at Familia de Sagrada where we entered with ease and had a wonderful in depth account of Guadis work and his vision. Jordan was a fabulous guide who made an effort to explore all aspects of the Temple as well as providing the perfect picture spots! Would highly recommend the tour but be sure to bring a few euros for water and a snack to purchase in the Temple as it is a long afternoon.

This comprehensive tour was my favorite experience in Barcelona. I recommend the excursion to anyone who is interested in learning about the history of Barcelona through visiting the city's two most famous landmarks. ALBERT was the greatest guide and teacher on the tour. He was selfless and passionate about sharing countless stories about the city of Barcelona.

Good tour for people who can do a lot of walking on difficult terrain.
The tour began at the entrance to Park Guell in Barcelona that turned out to be a fairly expensive taxi ride from the central tourist area of the city. We toured the park designed by Antoni Gaudi for about 90 minutes. When we read the description of the tour, no mention was made of the fact that the park encompasses a series of hills with steep walkways, many sets of stairs and uneven poorly maintained paths. The guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and tried her best to assist my companion and me in navigating the tour. She agreed with our complaint that the tour company needs to explicitly advise people that the tour is not recommended for those who have mobility issues. The pickup location for the bus was a long steep walk. We then proceeded to tour the beautiful basilica of Sagrada Familia. The interior and exterior of the church were flat and easy to walk but the bus dropped us off several blocks from the church. Again, the guide did an excellent job pointing out the main features of the architecture and decorative aspects of Gaudi’s masterpiece. Then we were left to find our own way back to our hotels. I thought the tour was overpriced considering the only transportation provided was the bus between the park and the church.

I am deeply sorry you feel you had to walk a lot during the first part of the tour. We do mention in the description of the tour that at the park you will have to walk uphill and go through some stairs. You probably missed it while reading the description. Highlight of our trip and good value - skip the line tickets included in price

This was the highlight of our stay in Barcelona and good value considering that it included the high price of the skip the line tickets at both attractions. Other trips charge you extra for those. Alberto was a terrific and knowledgeable guide and we were able to go straight into both attractions with no queue/line. In Sagrada Familia, we had headphones so that he could speak into the device and we could hear him despite the crowds and wander about to take photos - no shuffling into groups and trying to hear the guide. It was interesting even for the teenager accompanying me. This tour sells out fast, but if you are too late to book it may be worth turning up at the Parc Guell gate Carrer d'Olot, 24, 08024 at 9.30am (there is a queue even then) to see if they are taking on any extras. The groups were still very small but there were 3 or 4 guides with this company, each taking a small group and the groups got together just for the transport by coach from Parc Guell to Sagrada Familia. For those with walking difficulties Alberto was very careful to point out any uneven ground/steps and places to rest.

The best Barcelona Tour Company. Period.
This was one of our best tour experiences anywhere! To pair the Park Guell and Segrada Familia sites together makes sense as you truly dive deep into Gaudi’s vision and life purpose. Our guide Albert was extremely knowledgeable in the history and the place. We highly recommend visiting Barcelona’s historical sites with this wonderful local tour company!

Because of transportation, difficult in an unknown city, we were ten minutes late and the group had already left, complete as the person at the entrance of park Guell said. In fact, in the end, we were seven persons out of thirteen who had to purchase a second entrance ticket to enter the park.
We rejoined the group at Sagrada Familia and the tour was very comprehensive.

Beautiful Parc Guell & Sagrada Familia is awe inspiring!
We had a wonderful day, Parc Guell was beautiful and Sagrada Familia awe inspiring. We paid extra went up the tower to see the great views and details of the mosaics. We had a brilliant tour guide, who was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this tour we learnt so much.

A Must For Your Trip!

Suzie is fantastic! Without a knowledgeable guide to offer artistic and historic context, these amazing cultural treasures will a beautiful jumble to most visitors. Suzie helped it all make sense-even our teenager thought this tour was a highlight of the trip, thanks to our amazing guide. Being able to skip the line and have these sites explained is worth twice the price. Thanks, Suzie!
