Park Güell is a Must-See; Just Try Not to See It With Sylvia
Sylvia was not a great tour guide. When I first met her, she didn't want to help me at all with a scheduling issue. I had to call the Amigo Tours office to address it myself. After entering Park Güell, she gave the tour in both English and Spanish. My partner knows some Spanish and he told me that she would sometimes offer information and interesting tidbits in Spanish without translating it into English. Sylvia wasn't very friendly, open, or engaging. I think she should consider a new line of work because her personality traits don't seem to be well-aligned with the ones found in a good tour guide. Park Güell itself though was lovely and the Skip-the-Line tickets were especially great for visitors to Barcelona who are short on time, but crave memorable experiences.

    Review of Sagrada Family English
The guide was very informative and passionate and friendly. They should announce that tips are excepted, we tipped her without knowing if it was accepted. She was very happy to receive it.

    Great experience with Sara
We visited the Gothic Quarter in an evening with Sara. She offered a lot of interesting and helpful advice about Barcelona and the rest of Spain to us.

    Great tour of Sagrada Familia
Great tour of Sagrada… the guide was excellent. Bi-lingual Spanish and English … great level of knowledge and constructed the tour well. Good level of detail but not too much!

Can’t believe we were charged £168 for this short, chaotic tour with hard to hear commentary
Extremely overpriced. Chaotic meeting place which is a shop across the road from Sagrada. Staff in shop simply tell you, not pleasantly, to wait outside without giving you any further info. Booking said go to shop to receive your ticket. In fact there is no ticket - you give your name to agent when they arrive 10 mins before tour time and get a sticker on your clothing. When guide appeared she was pleasant but the combination of the headphones plus accented English made it impossible to understand much of the commentary. Once in Sagrada ground, the inside and outside guided tour was around half an hour with as much time as you like afterwards to take pictures

    Sagrada
Tour was ok, but it didn’t really start until 6:20 and finished at 7 Time wasted asking group questions and eliciting answers, instead of providing more info

    Beautiful park, bad tour
Park was beautiful but we wish we had seen more of it on tour. Tour guide was very wordy and long and we stood around a lot. She was not friendly or organized. We signed up for an English tour and it was bilingual so extra long and more standing around. We would have enjoyed it more on our own.

Sagrada Familia is a must see!
Our tour guide was great! We learned a lot about the history of Sagrada Familia & she was very friendly & accommodating. It was fun going up to the tower. We took a lot of great pictures of the city.

A must see if you are in Barcelona
Wonderful tour. Am glad we booked early in the morning as crowded by the time we left. Also it was a sunny day which made great rainbow effect from the stained glass windows. We booked the 10 people tour but there were 20. Not sure what happened. Would not want a larger group even though the audio devices worked fine. I said we wanted to go up the tower but never heard back about that. Meeting place easy to find.

    Rich In History
This was a lovely half day trip to see the mountains and religious history in Spain. If you love museums, religion, and mountains, this is the trip for you. I also appreciated that there was plenty of time to complete each activity. I do wish there were more options for food, as there were mainly street vendors selling cheese and honey (delicious!) and two buffets.

Expensive, but better than missing out!
I had two tours of Barcelona, booked with Amigo, and both were well organised, good communication, with instructions on where to meet. Both had excellent guides. They were much more expensive than doing it yourself, but you have to book online at least 2 weeks in advance, to do it yourself. So you pay the premium for a last minute tour. I read many of the one star reviews on Google, and they all had one thing in common- they all by people who arrived late. Our guide waited 5 minutes for some latecomers, then left without them. When they managed to catch up with us, they were not turned away.

    Sagrada Familia English Guided Tour.
This was a great tour. There number of people in the group was a good size - not too big and not too small. The starting point was easy to find. Sylvia, the guide, was knowledgeable and spoke in an easy manner. You can tell she loves showing people Sagrada Familia. Would recommend this tour. We did not do the tower access so can not speak to that portion of the option.

The views were amazing and we did get a lot of photos. Our tour guide was great and knowledgeable. However, we did not feel as if we had enough time to explore. We went on the 8 o’clock tour, and when we got there, the chapel was closed so we did not get to go in.
