Ewan was a great guide and after taking us to 5 tapas experiences I was completely full and sangria satisfied!!

My friends and I went on this tour and at the start we were a tad on the fence, you never know what to expect. If the tour guide would be good, the other people that would be on the tour too. Just a lot of questions. I can hand on heart say the tour was amazing and worth every penny. Our tour guide Mariah knew her stuff, was open to answering questions and made us feel at home in Barcelona. If you go on the tour and are lucky enough to have Mariah as your tour guide, you are in for a treat!

What a fun and delicious evening activity. Nathan gave us instructions for five wonderful cocktails. I had never tasted the Expresso Martini and it was great. Nice environment in a gothic neighborhood bar. Highly recommended. Delicious tapas also.

Thanks Paulina for making our tapas and wine tour such fun. We’ve been to Barcelona a few times but never been on a guided tour and it’s always interesting to be shown a place by a local. We were a group of 16 (11 from the USA, 3 from Australia and the 2 of us from the UK). We went to 4 different Tapas Bars, ate different local dishes and drank different types of wines at each venue. En route to each Paulina pointed out street art we would never have noticed, buildings of historic interest and even where Evanescence filmed a video. Paulina made sure everyone was kept entertained and moving around ensured the group mixed well. It was a great night and highly recommended.

My tour guide, Mariah, did a great job telling the legends around Barcelona and sharing the history in an exciting way. This walking tour was enjoyable and I would recommend it to other visitors!

We had a great time learning about the darker side of Bar Leona from Mariah. Mariah have a great walking tour at an easy pace through the city. We learned a lot about this city that we likely would not have known without this tour. Recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about this unique City.

I was disappointed with this Tapas tour. I found the food quality poor and the places seemed of poor quality. The Guide just took us to the places. She never told us much about the food nor sat with us to discuss what was being presented. She was busy clearing the tables. I would not bother with this tour and instead just go to a good restaurant to have better Tapas.

This was a fun experience to do on our first day in Barcelona! We wanted to do a food tour to get a glimpse of what everything is before we started exploring on our own. Our guide was fun and took us all around the Gothic District for tapas, wine, vermouth, and sangria. There was a lot of tapas to go around! You share with everyone in your group, but there’s always a ton of leftovers.

Mariah was a great guide, she went above and beyond, food great and all drinks were good. She not only explained food and wine but gave us advice on restaurants and bars so we could continue on to have the best time in Barcelona.

We were a group of 6 in our 20’s and thoroughly enjoyed Paulina’s hospitality and the tour. Very yummy food. We stopped at some of the famous sites in the city, including Gothic quarter, and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Definitely a highlight of our Barcelona trip

It’s all in the delivery. There are many tapas tours you can take but it all comes down to how did the tour guide make you feel. Like family? Like friends? Like they genuinely care about you having a good time?Roberto does all of this while entertaining you with his wit and wisdom about the tapas, wine and Catalonian culture. He’s simply the best and each of the tapas bars we went to served us delicious tapas and fabulous drinks. I would highly recommend this tour to my friends and family and actually go again.

I am not really into ghosts and the supernatural, but I do like some tawdry history and true crime, and I figured that this well-priced tour would deliver on that. I was honestly so surprised by the price that I didn’t expect much but it seemed like a fun pre-dinner activity. About 6 weeks before our trip (yes, I’m one of those people that plans WAY in advance), I got a notice through Get Your Guide that the tour operator (Travel Bound? Paella Cooking Experience? I usually try to book directly, but I couldn’t figure out the tour company from the sites where I saw the tour listed) had decided to do 2 tour times for the busy season and so I should select one or the other. I requested the later time by replying to the email and on the Get Your Guide site, but never got a confirmation. Eventually, I reached out to Get Your Guide and they were able to confirm that my preference had been noted, but they just said to use the same voucher. I really wish they would’ve just issued a new one with the correct time because every time I looked through all my booking emails, that one was very confusing. Anyway, we arrived at the appointed time and met our guide Mariah, not a Barcelona native, actually an American, and we waited a bit for a few others to show up who may have looked at the weather forecast and decided to skip it. MY weather forecast did NOT predict rain, but rain it did, and while standing under an awning or huddling under Mariah’s umbrella several times, I was very sad thinking about my own umbrella and rain jacket waiting just a few minutes away. It would’ve been above and beyond, but I would’ve loved a quick WhatsApp message confirming the tour that night and maybe suggesting to come ready for rain. During our short stay in Barcelona, we went on several different kinds of tours that covered mostly the Gothic Quarter, and there was understandably a lot of overlap and some differences, but I found this one, even in the rain—which was actually kind of appropriate for the subject matter—engaging and fun. Definitely more on the seedy historical side than the ghosty side though. And I appreciated the suggestions for a late night dinner, even on a Sunday as well.
