    What to Expect
The streets of Barcelona are jam-packed with mouthwatering restaurants, cafes and tapas bars — if you only know where to look. Avoid tourist traps and second-rate spots by letting a private foodie guide show you where locals go for a great meal. Meet your guide in the city center in the early evening, and set off on a walking tour to four different eateries renowned for their authentic flavors, fresh ingredients and careful preparation.

Whet your appetite with the first stop at ancient bodega for a sampling of traditional Spanish tapas that might include Iberian ham, goat cheeses, chorizo sausage, potato wedges with hot sauce, stuffed olives and bread with tomatoes. Next up is a bar known by locals to serve some of the best pintxos in town. Sample several of these bite-sized delicacies, which have origins in northern Spain and often include a savory sliver of meat, cheese or vegetable skewered by toothpick atop a toasted baguette.

Soak up the lively atmosphere at another popular tapas bar for more helpings of traditional and innovative appetizer-style plates along with regional wines. Be sure to save room for the final stop, a top-rated restaurant, for tastings of traditional meat-based Spanish and Catalonian dishes (vegetarian options also available upon request).

Throughout the evening, enjoy the personalized attention of your guide and get recommendations on where to eat and drink around town, plus tips on navigating tapas menus and local dining etiquette so you can order and eat confidently wherever you go.

    Amazing Medieval Towns with Oriol!
Oriol was our guide. He was professional, smart and very well informed. His English was excellent which is rare in Barcelona. We understood every word and we enjoyed every moment of the tour. We visited Vic, Santa Pao and Besalú. Lovely. Lovely. Lovely. If you have time, join this tour booked through Expedia. Our guide chose an excellent restaurant for lunch where we had our best meal through out the whole trip to Barcelona.

    A great evening! Highly recommend.
Our guide was Fiorella, and she made the evening memorable. She was enthusiastic and fun to be with. The stroll through old town was interesting and scenic. The tapas dinner was served to our group in a private room which made it more special. Food dishes were very tasty and generous. We had great seats for the flamenco show and the dancers were amazing. I can highly recommend In Out Barcelona for tours.

    Highlight of our Trip!
Pablo, our guide, picked us up at our hotel with one other couple in our car. He drove us to Montserrat and talked about what we would be seeing and gave us tips about Barcelona. Thanks to Pablo, he made our trip seamless and he told us the times we needed to be at specific places if we wanted to be a part of something. We ended up hearing the boys choir which was really beautiful! Montserrat seems overwhelming and there are a lot of tourists so we were very thankful we booked this tour. We really enjoyed the other couple and Pablo gave us insights into Spain that we didn't get from any other booking. Thanks Pablo!

Awesome day away from the city...Girona and Costa Brava day trip
Hubby and I booked this tour before leaving Australia on the trip advisor reviews and are so glad we did. We saw may beautiful towns and spent time at our leisure to explore. there were 7 on our tour so not too crowded. Be prepared for a bit of a drive but to get to the coast and away from the city its a must and worth it. The coastal town we visited was just gorgeous and i can only image how it must look at the height of summer. This trip is well worth booking.

Very Nice Morning in Montserrat with Marco
I was one of the first passengers picked up and the last to be dropped off. During my afternoon I found it effortless to engage with Marco about Montserrat or anything it relates to. He was a compelling guide who clearly knew what he was talking about. I felt educated on multiple levels: the holy mountain, historical figures that it’s intertwined with such as Gaudi and St. George, and it’s context within Barcelona and the people of Spain. I would recommend this activity to anyone interested in seeing beautiful sights and learning about religious marvels in Spain.

Museum and Dali's house. Both in one tour. Very well choreographed tour. Arnau / Arnold, our tour guide, gets a cookie for making it most interesting and informative. Happy to pay the $25 for the tickets to the house and museum which wasn't made clear enough in the companies ad.

    October 18 Barcelona Tour
Our tour today was not exactly what we thought it would be. We planned a leisurely tour of Sagrada Famille and other churches along with Montserrat. However this was the day that Catalanya declared a general strike and essentially most sites shut down. Fortunately we had Pablo as our guide and he probably surpassed Our expectations and provided us with a wonderful tour. He was awesome, he provided us with so much information on every spot we visited . This was a situation that may never happen again, literally every place we went Pablo was dealt the unknown and improvised. We only had 3 days in Barcelona and was worried as we arrived shortly after the riots that happened. After learning of the strike I was apprehensive about doing this tour. Honestly we could not have had a better day to spite all the challenges that our guide had. He was able to make us (me) feel safe , He made me wish I paid more attention in history class. He definitely went the extra mile. Today was definitely not a typical day in Spain with this tour group but if they can get a 10 from me today based on everything that was going on then they deserve a 5star! We really enjoyed the entire tour. Pick up at hotel was perfect and had a good 2 hours in Girona learning so much and then a lunch break. Our guide, Oriol, was terrific my knowledgeable about Dali and gave us a wonderful tour in Dali museum after leaving Girona. Was so much better than prior visit with rental car on my own

    Best attraction in Barcelona
While in Barcelona you must visit Montserrat. Getting there in the cable car is just the beginning of a wonderful adventure. Our guide Joan was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun to be around. While visiting we had the opportunity to listen to the choir it was an amazing experience. This is a must to do while in Barcelona.

    Wonderful day of Dali
We had Arnau as our guide for the day and it could not have been smoother - he collected us from our apartment as advertised and we saw the Dali Museum and the Dali house. He clearly loves Dali and gave us a passionate insight into his work and his life - it deffinately added to the experience of visiting and enjoying the pieces of work he created. Getting to these places yourself from Barcelona is not straightforward - having transport as well as an enthusiastic guide made it a fantastic day start to finish. Thank you Arnau!

Girona and Costa Brava day trip
Excellent experience! The best one we ever had! Highly recommend. We got to see so many beautiful towns that otherwise would of been hard to visit. Our tour guide, Gaspar was great! The group of people was very small - just 7 ppl which made it much more personalized. We will need to come back there at some point!
