Yolanda are tour guide was amazing so knowledgeable about the city the history of the sites. Ali our driver was so patient wonderful. Even though we had rain for the entire tour it was an amazing wonderful experience.

We had a private tour for our family of 3. Christian was our guide/driver and he was amazing! Well planned out and full of fun activities. We were driven around in a very nice and comfortable vehicle. The tour accommodated our needs and catered to what we wanted to see. It was amazing and would definitely do it again.

I am a travel Agent and I took a group of 12 people on a cruise. We couldn't check into a hotel at 9am so I decided to book a tour through Barcelona day tours to kill some time. It was amazing and our guide was wonderful.They picked us up from the cruise terminal, then we headed to Tarragona. Along the way we stopped at the Roman aquaducts and our guide was very knowledgable on the history of the area. After spending some time in Tarragona we asked him to take us to a local restaurant. He stayed with us and helped translate and make suggestions on the local cuisine. It was an amazing restaurant right on the beach in Altafulla. After a delicious lunch we proceeded along the coast stopping at picturesque area's like Sitges and plenty of photo ops. Then he took us directly to our hotel. I can't say enough about the guide and this company. They were courteous, knowledgable and prompt. Well worth it and will recommend to my clients.

We had an enjoyable trip. The guide, Xavier, was fantastic as he is knowledgable and made the guidable tours very insightful. He also interacted well with my kids who are 12 and 11 and could engage them too. The driver/guide were also on time in the morning. They were able to accommodate our schedule and the driver, Mark, was a safe driver and took care of us throughout the time. My husband and I were so glad we booked the tour with you. Really helped us understand this beautiful city and people better. We hope to come back to Barcelona again!

We would highly recommend Barcelona Day Tours and will look to do another with them when we come back. Our tour guide Anna and driver (sorry forget his name) were excellent. Her eye for detail and her ability to communicate all the deep history, was fantastic. Like most of these tours, you never have enough time, but we were able to see many of the must sees as well as some local flavor without feeling rushed. Anna made us feel not like a customer, but more a feeling of sharing a day with a close friend that was pridefully showing off her wonderful hometown. While I do not have a great eye or feel for art, Anna was able to bring out details to me in an informative and relatable way that made the experience even more enjoyable. Juana and team were easy to work with setting up the tour and communicating/coordinating all the logistics. Just a pleasurable experience all the way around.

My wife and I had an excellent day. Christian picked us up for our cruise ship, took us to Montserrat and a winery, with a lunch squeezed in, and then made sure we got the airport in time for our flight home. He was a great driver and guide. Montserrat was spectacular despite a foggy start, and Santiago, at the winery, exuded passion. Communication with the tour company was excellent throughout.

Spain Day Tours was excellent. Picked us up at our hotel on time and gave us a great 4-hour private tour. Spent as much time at Sagrada Familia as we wanted, plus other interesting stops. Olan was quick to answer all my email questions quickly as well. Highly recommend this company.

We used Barcelona Day Tours to tour Barcelona in the convenience of a private car. We needed to spend the time between the cruise drop off and hotel checkin wisely and this was the best. Christian was our guide and was just amazing with a ton of knowledge and good english speaking skills. We got to see all the sights and also eat lunch at a great restaurant before heading to the airport. Highly recommend using them when in Spain.

We booked the Montserrat half day guided tour with airport pickup. Communication with Dory about our booking and payment was excellent and correctly indicated that Barcelona Day Tours is a well-run operation. We are nervous travelers, but our driver João was so personable, helpful, and knowledgeable, we had a worry-free day! It was easy to find him in the airport, and we could just sit back and relax after that. He was a terrific driver, guide and conversationalist. Montserrat did not go exactly to plan as an unscheduled mass and a downpour limited what we could see in the basilica and outside, but we were happy with our visit and it was all good in the end. We also really appreciated João's city tour and his recommendations for food near our hotel. (The tapas kept us going so we could make it to La Sagrada Familia on our own in the evening.) We absolutely would not hesitate to book again with Barcelona Day Tours. Highest recommendation!

This is the first stop of our Mediterranean cruise tour and we really enjoyed the Barcelona city tour. The tour guide is very nice and knowledgeable. She accompanied us all the way and provided detailed information about the city and historic sites. Many thanks to the optimum arrangement, which saved us a lot of time on buying tickets and waiting traffic. This is very helpful for first time visitors or people not familiar to the city. We were picked up by a taxi for free from hotel in the morning, to join another group at the shore in order to start the tour on time, and dropped off to the cruise port at 2 pm as planned. We've booked over 8 tours with Barcelona | Spain Day tours over the past several years and I'd highly recommend booking with this company for their responsive customer service; tour options and the quality of their tours. They have been amazingly easy to work with and all the tour experiences have met our expectations, if not exceeded them. I like that there are many types of tour options and we've tried them all - 1. on-cruise large group 2. on-cruise small group 3. post cruise private tours 4. hotel to airport transfers. The large group tours have been extremely informative, but very busy with limited free time, so they are great if you have a short amount of time and want to learn a lot and see as much as possible. The small group tours afford you a bit more free time and allow the opportunity to get to make friends on the tour while still providing a detailed amount of information. The private tours offer a personalized touch, are highly flexible and the guides have all been 5 star. The transfers have also been wonderful - clean cars, safe drivers and most of the drivers have provided more information so it is like a mini tour. We've also booked through their partner company - Italy Day Tours and have had an equally as good experience. If you are taking a Med cruise, I'd recommend booking shore excursions through these companies as it makes planning easy and they are less busy | crowded than a ship excursion. Most recently we did a Lisbon 1/2 Day City tour and an airport transfer. Both great!
