About the operator
- rossi28600Absolutely a must!My sister and I used this company this September, a great way to see this big and beautiful city! Perfect comments, not overwhelmong, would strongly recommend the company, you get to see all important landnarks and more. Use both green and orange lines, different things to see. A hop on hop off is very useful too.
- 472kelseyd00Go see the church, skip the guide and the “fast pass”The church is amazing, a must see! The guide was very kind but totally unnecessary. There is no “skip the line” the guide just gets you into line. We learned more from a YouTube video before attending than from the guide. Guide’s English was fluent but hard to understand.
- richardhZ2133RE00A must see - exepct loads of peopleDecent tour. Again we find it hard to hear everything the tour guide say dues to headset noise, noise from all the people around you as well as the tour guides accent. This is an attraction that should not be missed. truly remarkable. We have found the private tours and or small group tours much better
- G8842RTsuel00A must see in BarcelonaSagrada Familia is awe inspiring, beautiful, mind blowing, however to get the best out of your visit and to negotiate the check in, you definitely need to take a guided tour. Christina our guide was excellent she was so enthusiastic about the Basilica pointing out so many different aspects to the building. We then visited the museum before we went back through again at a slower pace soaking up its beauty
- robertsY5874BI00Rode the first day to get the lay of the land.Rode the full Red & Green Loops the first day to get the lay of the land. The audio was in our language and worked flawlessly.
- mayravM4457UX00Best way to see more of the city!Great map and the weather was perfect in the morning. Plenty of stops at most popular sites. Used this to get to our meeting spot for another tour then in the evening to get back to our hotel.
- mikewN7985VL00You won’t want to miss this tour. Great views, history and experience. So glad we did this trip and Anna our tour guide was great. Took lots of pictures on a bluebird sky day and the liquor tasting and multimedia show were also worth checking out. There’s lots of gift shop and food options at the top as well and crowds were very manageable. Tips: - Sit on the left of the train going up - It’s Ok to wear shorts even though some sites say not too. - Make sure you save time to take pics or eat your snacks by the parking lot area since it offers great views
- mridzp00Well paced & informative Montserrat tourMiri provided very clear and concise context of the entire place splattered with right humour. We took early morning tour so the place was less crowded and we could browse around easily.
- F1607QNhelens00Brilliant guide in an other worldly building. The interior of la sagrada familia is truly breathtaking. Our guide was fantastic at explaining all the key points of the architecture and made it interesting and thought provoking. Definitely worth booking.
- 788inarac00Amazing experienceLove the time our trip was done, we started around 4:30 and stayed till6:30-7, we got to see all the different reflections of the vitrales in the walls, highly recommend it.
- 991lintonb00Enjoyable but flawedGuide (Julia - unrelated to company owner) was excellent and very helpful in accommodating the elderly (us). Venue is spectacular and well worth visiting. The walking is more extensive and uphill than I expected and the cog-wheel train was nothing special. There was more to do than possible in the time allowed. Biggest drawback was the bus. I weigh 230 pounds and have taken bus tours on three continents. This was the most uncomfortable bus I have ever been on; seats much to close together. Tour also advertised snacks but there was not even water for the hour bus ride.
- lolita11000Great tour, confusing ticket arrangementTour and guide were great. Getting tickets is not clear, booked thru Tripadvisor, tour provider(Julia Tours) sent voucher, needed to go to the tour office for ticket and to meet group, but was not easy to figure out.
- Compass4499095669000Really wonderful trip to Montserrat. Sasha the tour guide was excellent in communication very knowledgeable and witty.Montserrat monastery surrounded by unique mountain structure is a must for every traveller visiting Barcelona.
- I2465VZjamess00September at MontserratViews were great. Guide Sandra was very nice and informative. Was disappointed that we didn't have time to spend personal time walking around more. Only 50 minutes to grab some lunch and shop. Views are spectacular though.
- ashleysM8138KO00Sandra is 10/10Breathtaking!! This day excursion was the most memorable of our time in Barcelona, especially thanks to our tour guide Sandra who was knowledgeable, spoke loudly, and added the right amount of comedic touch to the tour. If you’re wondering whether it’s worth the time away from the city — believe me, it is. The views are spectacular, the grounds are immaculate, and you have some free time to wander around and take it all in. The gift shop has some cute swag as well. Something of note: the ride down on the tram was steep so if you’re extremely fearful of heights, sit on the left side that abuts the mountain. While my boyfriend and I didn’t get to meet any monks (lol), I can say this will be an unforgettable part of our time in España!

The local guides were very good. We did a SpaIn tour that started in Barcelona. Julia Travel is a joke. Airport p.u. in Barcelona was fine. Had a good hotel picked by J travel. Barcelona tour was 8 am the next morning. We had to go to the office to meet the bus. No one knew where it was. Finally found a cab driver that knew. So paid cab fare. Breakfast at hotel included. Couldn't get it because breakfast started at 730. Tour across town at 8. Before tour started confirmed with office that we had a 9 am pick up for Sun. We had Julia provided train tkts for 1 pm to Madrid. Went on a 5 hour tour. Back at Julia office the employee told me she still wasn't sure the person scheduling never called her back
That was the first 24 hours. Every day was something else

Julia travels was not able to provide the Barcelona Super Saver : Sightseeing Tour with Montjuic Cable Car and Montserrat Tour on 26th December 2013 as promised.
We were directly pushed to the Montserrat Tour instead with no explanation from the Julia staff. Once the tour started and we understood that the tour was not the one we were promised, we were then "informed" that 26th December is a partial holiday in Barcelona and theyhad provided us the morning Montserrat Tour instead (without the cog wheel train option) which costs 55 Euros per person. We had paid 98 Euros per person for the combined Montjuic and Montserrat tour. We felt that Julia travel staff were trying to cheat us by not informing us about this change in tour activity in the first place.
Julia travels personnel were rude and refused to take any responsibility in the matter. They talked to us as if it was our mistake and the fault of out travel agent through which we booked this tour. The staff at the Julia travels travel desk have no customer service skills whatsoever and have a very bad attitude.

Well what can i say but amazing. The tour is very interesting as you pass by the most known parts of Barcelona. As youre on the bus you can't really take pictures as the bus doesnt stop but you can still have a feel of Barcelona. Cable car to Montjuic amazing and its a most. Our tour guide Cecília was amazing always making sure that we were ok and giving alot of info on Barcelonas history. Spanish Village beautiful would recommend it.
Montserrat breathtaking views also alot of history a few things to do and see while you're there.
Would definitely recommend this tour if you're in Barcelona for a short visit.
Thank you Cecilia

Fantastic day trip up to the mountain and arrived by bus and the took cable train up to the Monastery. We toured the entire Church and had some samples of the brandy. Wonderful facilities and most of all a great guide who explained in detail the churches role and existing day to day routine of the Monks. Also we were shown a great film and again the trip was a must do

This tour begins with a walking tour of the Gothic Architecture near the Plaza de Catalunya - notably the Barcelona Cathedral. From the plaza, you board a bus that tours throughout the city to a fort that sits atop the city. The views are spectacular. The tour ends with a site of the Olympic stadiums and the museum.
Aaron was an excellent guide with extensive knowledge of the history and charms of the city. You won’t regret the opportunity to experience the highlights of Barcelona with him leading the pack.

The Montserrat tour starts in the center of Barcelona (not from Callela) I advise to see an agency thats near the train station, that way you are just a walking distance from it.
