The starting point is a little difficult to find. If you get to a dirt lot across the street from the hospital and immediately past a round-about you are a short walk from the take-off location. After that it’s smooth sailing…pun intended. Jose (Pericles’) “office” in the basket of the balloon is a fun place to be. He is fluent in English and of course Spanish and took the time to repeat everything to us (the English speaking couple). The flight circles the historic area of Segovia. Jose really knew the currents as he raised and lowered the balloon to catch just the right wind to get unique views you cannot get anywhere else. We flew out over the highway to a landing zone outside the city a little over an hour after take-off. There are a few surprises that I won’t spoil for you, but we enjoyed learning how balloon flight was started in the 1700’s. Daniela was the great ground crew member who really made us feel special as well. If you’ve been thinking of a balloon ride for some time, highly recommend that you book this one. Thank you to the entire staff and especially Jose and Daniela.

The Eolofly crew were exceptional from the moment we arrived. Our pilot, Jose Antonio ,was both informative and funny giving us detailed information of the amazing sights we were flying over. His professionalism and passion for hot air balloon rides were visible at all times. He made extra sure everyone on board listened thoroughly to his safety instructions.
The balloon ride was exceptional, something none of us will ever forget. To get to see cities from a birds eye perspective is incredible, topped with the most beautiful and breathtaking sunrise is unforgettable. We were a group of 4 adults on our first ever hot air balloon ride, Eolofly have made sure it's not our last. We have to give a special mention to Daniella, she greeted us with a friendly smile and was very hands on in the putting away of the balloon at the end of the ride, took photos and together with the rest of the crew prepared a most delicious cava breakfast. We most certainly recommend Eolofly .

Booked this flight as a surprise gift for our 39th wedding anniversary, from the moment I made the booking, absolutely everything was professionally organised, contact and communication was excellent right up to the day of the flight. Our flight was the first scheduled for departure 7.25am, what an amazing experience watching the balloon inflate and once inside the basket given a safety briefing and then up up and away, a total of 9 balloons took off in absolutely perfect weather conditions, we had a perfect birds eye view over Segovia and the flight lasted about an hour with a perfect landing with cava and tapas and certificate and photos to complete the most wonderful experience of our lives, a huge thank you to our pilot Pepe, Daniella and Pedro. I can totally recommend EOLOFLY for an amazing and unique experience.

The hot air balloon ride was the highlight of our trip to Segovia! My husband is scared Of heights and was pretty nervous but agreed to do the ride because he knew how much I wanted to do it. He was nervous at first but once up in the air was completely fine and enjoyed the ride. He commented that the stillness and peace up in the air kept him calm. It wasn’t loud, bumpy or shaky. He ended up saying how glad he was he did the ride! Seeing the town, cathedral, and castle from an aerial view was amazing. We loved every minute of it. Our driver was kind and funny. He did the tour in Spanish and English for us. He made the trip that much more enjoyable! For anyone touring Segovia I highly recommend starting off with the hot air balloon ride. You won’t regret it!

Pilot Pepe and Daniela gave us a wonderful experience in every way. They prioritized safety and maximized pleasure. There were five of us on board and the basket fit us comfortably. To say the least, it was a breathtaking and exhilarating trip floating above Segovia and seeing the city and surrounding countryside. Pepe explained everything to us as we went and happily answered all questions. Upon landing, we all helped to pack away the balloon and enjoyed a champagne toast and picnic together. We all got our flight certificates with pictures and a video to memorialize the morning. There was a wonderful camaraderie amongst guests and crew. Do not hesitate to book this. A moment that I will remember always.

An experience of a lifetime with two great people that made us feel as though we were part of their family. Their knowledge and experience was evident from the beginning and through the entire adventure. We would highly recommend the air ballon ride with EoloFLY.

Jose and his team gave us an awesome tour and balloon ride over Segovia. Lots of up close views of the cathedral, town, aqueduct and some really nice views up high above the clouds. Champagne and snacks with the group at the end was also a highlight. 10/10 would recommend as a day trip for anyone visiting Madrid!

The experience was amazing from start to finish. We had a lovely rider, Emmanuel, take us from our hotel in Madrid to the beautiful Segovia. From there, we were introduced to the friendly and charming Jose and Daniela. Soon after we were high in the sky taking in the breathtaking views that Segovia has to offer. It truly was an unforgettable experience. Just book it now, don't leave it on your bucket list forever! Thanks again to the team for exceeding our expectations.

An amazing experience which I'd definitely recommend anyone to try. All the staff were super helpful from Emanuel the taxi driver who picked us up from Madrid to the pilot of the balloon and everyone else throughout the whole experience. It was a very smooth flight and the scenery was bliss. Not an experience to miss.

This review will be pretty detailed so if you prefer to know what you do this review is for you.
So this arrangement was booked by my wife via a different company, but it seems Eolofly is affiliated. She had no problems with the communication from Eolofly and they informed us when they would pick us up and accommodated picking us up from our hotel in Madrid.
It was an early morning pickup and about an hour drive to the meeting location where the balloon would be delivered by another vehicle on a trailer. It was pretty cool to watch the balloon get set up as it is a good amount of effort. Once the balloon was ready our group all got in and we had an awesome trip going over Segovia being moved by the soft wind. I get goosebumps thinking about the initial lift off because it was so surreal. It was a real fun flight and both the driver and the balloon operator were super cool people and very polite.
After landing we got a group photo and we all helped to put away the balloon and the basket back in their truck. It really gave a sense of appreciation for this line of work as it's not easy.
They had brought a nice breakfast and Champaigne bottle with a little bit of history to go with it, very insightful. And then we were brought to Segovia and got some time to explore to see the ancient Aqueduct, the cathedral and the Alcazar de Segovia. All of it was just as awe inspiring up close as it was from the balloon. We were then driven back to Madrid to the location we asked the driver to take us.
All in all it was such a fun experience and I would definitely recommend having an experience to ride a hot air balloon with Eolofly.
