      What a Lovely City !
We spent 3 days in Valladolid last week on a trip by train through Spain. The only reason we came to this city was because the AVE train stops here. Looking for tourist attractions to book was tough, and it turns out thats because there isn't many international tourists ! I took a chance to book this cycle tour 2 months in advance, as the reviews on TA are really old, and I wasn't sure whether the tour was still operating. Javier responded immediately, and arranged to collect us from our hotel for the tour, and pay when we met. He arrived as arranged, and took us to the park close to the railway station, where there is a booth advertising cycle rides with Itinerate. We were kitted out with cycles which were more than adequate, as the terrain was luckily very flat. Javier's sister Rebecca also accompanied us, and was keen to practise her English skills. We gently cycled around the city and Javier explained all the key points. There were a number of cycle lanes in the newer sections of the town, and so we felt perfectly safe. We found that Valladolid was once the capital of Spain ..... for about 6 years ! The town therefore has many historic buildings and a very nice affluent feel to it. We were very impressed with the city, which seemed much more 'spanish' than many we've visited, and also with the fact that there were so few tourists there. Everyone was so friendly. I would thoroughly recommend Valladolid as worth a visit, and taking the tour with Javier who loves his home town, certainly allows you to get the best out of the city. Thank you Javier & Rebecca !

      Valladolid in
Javier's three hour bike tour provided us with a good overview on our first day of seven in this provincial city. The cycling is easy as the city is flat and the route sticks to cycle lanes and pathways. We stopped outside all of the important sights which Javier would then describe and answer our questions in a polite and knowledgeable way. I enjoyed it so much that I went back a couple of days later and hired one of the bikes for an afternoon trip of my own.

      Amazing
We spent one day in Valladolid and we decided that the best way to know about the history of the city was with a guide, so we found Javi's web site and we contacted him. The tour was AWESOME! Javi is professional, funny and we really enjoyed the time that we spent with him. Thank you Javi for such a lovely day!! Fatima and Frey

Mark & Patti highly recommend Javier
Javier was an excellent tour guide for our bike ride of the El Camino. He helped us with the language, directions, food ordering and picked us up in the van when we had enough. Fantastic service and would highly recommend Javier. He was very knowledgable and a lot of fun.

So good, we kept him for 15 days
Used Javier for a day, kept him for a couple weeks! An excellent guide, and an invaluable support for our Camino Adventure. A little more than he usually does, but we asked Javier to be our driver for a two week mountain bike ride of the El Camino. Very good language skills and knowledge of Spain. Glad we found Javier, all we had to do was ride and enjoy the Camino

      Brilliant, and a beautiful ride
My last day in Spain and my wife and I decided to enjoy a half day bike tour around Segovia. Javier, thank you so much for a brilliant ride. The circuit on the bike path around the city was so pretty and your commentary fascinating. We saw so many places that walking tours just wouldn't or couldn't go to. Thanks you. sightseeing on bikes gives you a better chance to see all town!
An excellent idea to visit a place. Biking gives a possibility to see more than just the historical centre. And biking with a guide is just what you need to get to know the town!

Javier, our guide, was excellent in providing general information and managing the time of 2.5 hours to get to know the main tourist places in Salamanca.

Salamanca is beautiful and even more so when you know its history.

    Highly recommended
